Missing Ellie is a book to indulge in, curled up with a coffee, on a rainy afternoon and enjoy the sheer pleasure of reading (rather like a cosy Sunday drama). The author's skill in characterisation, dialogue and description enabled me to really imagine the scenarios, becoming absorbed in a very well crafted story.
I resonated so much with the main character, her relationships and experiences; and followed her journey with empathy, sympathy and joy.
Not many books are written about the changes that women experience in later life, and how it can affect them. This is a must read for women of any age, but particularly those over forty.
