This was my first book by Logan Chance and I can safely say that I cannot wait to read more books by him because

FBI agent Addison Buckley has been doing desk jobs from the past three years and is waiting for a promotion. She gets a chance to prove herself in a new case where she has to go undercover as a newly married couple with another FBI agent, Vin Mills.

Vin Mills always thought that Addison was just another privileged girl but he soon finds out more about her while undercover and realises that there is more to her than he originally thought.

I really loved this book with its enemies to lovers trop. The plot was fun and entertaining and I really loved it!

There were so many steamy moments in this book and I honestly cant wait for more.

So much to love here!

Logan Chance is a new author for me. In fact, I've hardly read any M/F romance books by male authors.

I really enjoyed this book. It was witty, fun and cute. I would rated this a solid 4 star, but I'm knocking off 0.25* for the rushed ending!

This can be an 'it's-not-you-it's-me' case with this book, but I really wanted to like this one. So, I don't think it is.

The beginning felt choppy and I really couldn't connect well with the main characters. I liked the plot but was looking forward to more details and build-up, more tension, more banter - after all what is an enemies to lovers story if these aren't done right? It sure didn't to me.

But, it improved by the end even though it was really less on the action or the danger side. This was a nice book but not a memorable one.

Logan Chance invented a new genre with The NewlyFEDS. A smart sexy slow burn suburban erotic caper ;) Add a fake marriage with mafia overtones, and this is a frisky modern page turner of romance. Along the way to solving the crime, Chance offers a light-hearted satire on the upper crust and the secrets they keep.

From the first page, The NewlyFEDS charmed me. I laughed so hard I dropped my kindle! It’s a delight! I swiped well past bedtime and smiled the whole time.

Addison and Vin have some fantastic sexy-swoony chemistry. The story stars Addison, an ambitious FBI agent who thinks faster than words can come to her. She’s sweet, slightly insecure, but aces at her job. Her only problem is the man she hates, but you know where this is going.

The object of her affection and her partner is Vin, a single-minded G man who rejected his privileged upbringing to become a justice junkie. That’s all you need to know when the slow burn ignites. And Chance turns the temperature way up, with Vin’s filthy mouth and Addison’s lingerie and pulsing libido to match. There is not a scene or line of dialogue out of place. Read this now, I loved loved loved it!

Chance has such a light touch with his storytelling. He builds a world and plops you square in the middle. And he wastes no time getting you invested. I know some of us shy away from suspense or crime thrillers cause the plotting suffers. Not here. The narrative keeps up with the romance. It’s a funny smart sexual twofer. I loved this book.

He’s in his element with the sexy romantic comedy and pushing boundaries with his clever situations and lovable characters. I can’t wait to see what he does next.

FBI agent Addison Buckley wants to advance from her desk job and be a field agent, and now her chance rests in the success of her new case—going undercover in an affluent suburb posing as newlyweds with sexy and assured agent Vin Mills.

Except Addison doesn’t really like Vin, and Vin thinks Addison is a bit uptight, certainly not his type till she fakes a sexy phone sex voice and gets caught in her panties. Then the stakes begin to change as the more the two get to know each other, the more they progress from “enemies” to friends to lovers.

“No way am I having my fake marriage be actionless.”

Vinn was cute to read as he tried to balance his determination to catch the bad guys with letting his bachelorhood fall behind him as he found Addison and the idea of settling down more comforting.

“My dick is more than adequate, just an fyi.”

Though he’d lived a no-commitment lifestyle, he seemed like a good guy at heart.

“Sometimes, the best ‘man’ for a job is a woman.”

Addison’s end of the story is more sentimental as she negotiates the balance between real relationships and fake. It adds a heartwarming touch to the story, though I do wish she’d have gotten a bad ass moment or two.

The romance is a bit slow burn. I wouldn’t have minded them turning up the heat. They make a nice couple, but I didn’t always feel their chemistry.

The mystery angle kept me engaged. If you enjoy a little who-done-it, this one will give you a chance to break out your deduction skills. I’ll admit, I didn’t correctly guess the culprits.

You will have to suspend some disbelief though. Like over the lack of home security systems and alarms in this well-off community, why an agent would chance suspicion on himself by buying a high-tech lock at his suspect’s business rather than obtaining it through the bureau, and how little these folks seem to worry about their lawns for a suburban neighborhood.

It's probably more The Real Housewives than The ‘Burbs. And while the supporting female characters rock nosey, they and their counterparts aren’t nearly as neurotic as suburbia can get. Told via Vinn and Addison’s alternating first person POV, it’s a light and easy read, safe, low angst book to enjoy for some stress relief or day a day on beach this summer.

This is the kind of book I can clearly see being adapted into a lovely rom-com film. It has all the quintessential elements, fake marriage, haters to lovers, and comedy. The romance is top-notch, as are the steamy scenes. I also love how besides the general struggle between the characters, in the beginning, there is a common threat of the mafia that brings and keeps them together.

I've been dying to read this it was pretty good pace entertaining with a dash of mystery and romance.

Vin and Addison are great together from sassy banters to steamy-ish funny moments.

Co-workers that are at odd that are put on assignment to take down a mob they have to blend in and be fake married to find who is helping them. Vin was a great fake husband the protectiveness, charming dirty mouth and fun loving of his made me melt!! Leaving the rich world behind to be a agent plus his love for captain America won me over lol Addison grew up different she mentioned a rough life in foster care that has her not being a workaholic and lonley once the assignment starts living in this place has ber letting her walls down this also has Vin and herself blurring the lines
Also THEY HAVE A CAT NAME CAP!! 😭❤

No cheating, no ow/om drama unless you count flirty ppls flirting with them, Drama, secondary charas, sexy times, mentions of past but nothing really and no virgins

It was cute but nothing really happened.

The newlyfeds was kind of enemies to lovers book but not really. These two didn’t really hate one another because they thought they other was attractive. Plus they worked together so there was some obvious competition. Well, until they say they are given the assignment of their lives. They have to pretend to be a married couple in order to sniff out the bad guys.

Of course, along the way Vin and Addison develop deeper feelings for one another. It doesn’t take long for them to get the itchy feeling of jealousy either. Vin kind of goes into caveman mode when it comes to Addison and she kind of unleashes her wild child with this group of friends they have developed. It was cute and fluffy.

It was mostly about the romance. Things did get steamy between these two a lot and it was good. Enjoyable even. Yet, the whole catching the bad guy was on the back burner. One little slip up, and bam - they were caught. Kind of weird but I went with it.

Overall, the ending was eh. Cute, fluffy, and a quick read.

Something different! Something fun! Something TOTALLY HOT!!! This story had it all! Get ready LC fans because you just found your new favorite!

Two agents who were at odds, forced to go undercover on a job. All they need to do is pretend to be married, find the bad guys and make an arrest. Simple, right?

The writing was in dual point of view which gave us both Vin’s and Addison’s perspective! I found Vin’s POV to be especially witty. He was an overprotective, alpha male with a soft side that just endeared you to him. Addison was independent yet lonely. She had her quirks, but once she opened up, she was sexy and passionate. The two together were a force. It’s going to get STEAMY!

The author created amazing characters with Addison and Vin, along with a whole community for you to fall in love with. He gave us a unexpected family with this story.

Get it. Read it! You are going to love it!

5 star review of The NewlyFEDS by Logan Chance

I’m really not sure where to start with this book. There was a freshness about this story line that I absolutely loved. Logan Chance held me captive from the first to the last chapter.

Special Agents Vin Mills and Addison Buckley are on an undercover assignment, portraying newlyweds as they see the evidence to o put a mobster away. The big question is how far they will both go for the job they love. Addison wants a promotion which she believes in long overdue and sees this assignment as the way to make it happen.

What neither Vin or Addison count on is the magnetic attraction that sizzles between them making it difficult to ignore.

The humour woven throughout this book had me laughing so much I almost cried. There was drama, angst and the romance and suspense had me on the edge of my seat as I read this book trying to figure out what would happen next and who the bad guys were.

This is a great book that I couldn’t put down and I highly recommend you one click on release.

Just when I thought that I will be stuck in my reading blockage I said- Lets try with this one. I started with the first, second...and all of a sudden it is deep in the night and the end of the book.
It is a mix of romance and detective/agent book that kept me glued to my kindle.
Those two FBI agents that are rivals for promotion have to pretend that are rich newlyweds for the assignment and right there the fun starts... They are so attracted to eachother that hey don't have to pretend that much. It was interesting to think who is the guilty one out of that small number of suspects and I was surprised in the end.
I enjoyed reading it and I had wonderful time while I did that.
I'm looking forward of reading Logan's next book because he always delivers great reading material

Sexy a rabiar e inteligente.

Recomendado.

short, sweet, funny and steamy

This is a fun story for those looking for some fake marriage shenanigans alongside light FBI detective mystery set in a rich neighborhood. Oh! it has a little bit of enemies to lover vibe in the beginning too which makes for a fun start to the book.

This is a great choice if you want a quick read to take your mind off a heavy day at work.
Loved it a lot and looking for more books such as this. Drop some recs if you know any.

It was cute and fluffy, not really mystery focused. Some things the hero said pissed me off, but he made up for it. I also dislike how the heroine couldn't handle the hero's hotness. Like one peck on the lips and she lost focus on the job.

FBI agent Addison Buckley wants to move from her desk job to being a fully-fledged field agent, and she finally has her chance – the only problem is that her promotion rests on how successful her new undercover assignment goes – she needs to go undercover in an affluent suburb posing as newlyweds with Agent Vin Mills, the man she views as always getting in the way of her finally becoming a field agent. As they play house, the lines between reality and fiction blur big time.

Dual POV helps keep things entertaining.

Overall a cute and fluffy read, I can see myself picking this book up again, and it has me curious about the author’s other books.

Absolutely wonderfully entertaining read that will have you glued to the pages until you finish this captivating rom-com, with a little bit of angst, tossed with some mystery and thrown into the hot sheets and allowed to cook until you are well done!

So...who done it?? Well it was, you know...you have to read it to find out! But watch out for the twists and turns that will have you thinking and rethinking what you think you know as you try to figure out who the bad guy is. Isn't that great???? Yep...makes for an outstanding read!

Great read and I highly recommend this book...you won't regret it!

NewlyFEDS is standalone rom-com by Logan Chance. It is told from both points of view with a happy ending. Tropes: enemies to lovers | fake relationship | FBI | forced proximity

Workaholic Addison Buckley wants nothing more than a promotion from her desk job. She gets the perfect chance. He just has to go undercover with her nemesis Vin Mills and pose as newly and happily married couple in an affluent suburb to catch a money launderer.

I was expecting more in the enemies to lovers trope: A bit more tension, animosity and banter between Addison and Vin. I also just finished reading an incredibly thrilling romantic suspense where the characters were both ex-CIA and I was expecting a bit more excitement and suspense on the FBI front in this one.

All in all, this was a light and fun read.

Addison has her eyes on a promotion, but Special Agent Vin Mills stands in her way. Now she has to go undercover with him, posing as his wife, to take down a mobster. Can the two of them co-exist in the same house? Can they do it and keep their hands and lips off each other? All those negative, snarky feelings are masking something, something far more passionate than either wants to admit.

I always fall in love with Logan Chance's characters, always love his sexy, dirty-talking heroes, and smart, strong heroines, and that has never been more true than here in The NewlyFEDS. Whether the world he creates is broody and gray, or bright and light like here, Logan never fails to deliver a love story that gets me right in the heart and makes me fall in love and that's why I love The NewlyFEDS! It's witty, snarky sexiness all wrapped up in a truly fun enemies to lovers rom-com.

Sigh. Logan Chance is just becoming a default 5 star writer for me. I wonder when he will reveal himself more to his fans so I can see the face behind a man who writes such dreamy books!

Vin and Addison are feds like the title says but Addison has so far been only assigned desk work while Vin is a pro being under cover and at the field! They're both hoping for a promotion and inadvertently also hoping that the other doesn't get there first! And, they also know each other vaguely.

Now the fun part, they both get assigned an undercover job where they have to pretend to be a married couple. Vin is sexy and smooth and has no problems taking this on, but Addison is seemingly sharp and sassy, but inside, she's an introverted loner faking it through life.

Sigh. What follows is just sweeeet perfection. The pace of the book is amazing and the friends these guys make on the way linger and actually touch your heart. Soon Addison is finding it hard to resist her pretend husband and same for Vin. He can barely keep his hands to himself and be a gentleman.

What I loved was how Vin was territorial and watched out for Addison all the time. He was one possessive alpha without being over bearing and I also loved that Addison despite being a cop, was such a dainty little thing. If Vin said he was wearing the pants, Addison was compliant and accomodating and being a wife.

Logan always has a smart turn come at the end that you can't guess and it stays true in this book as well. And I should point out that the cover says 'romantic comedy' and it IS just that. There is no creepy suspense where you'd say this book is moving off track. It stays sweet and relevant.

And the sex. Oh my dear panties. The sex is smoking out of the book. It was a perfect read!!!! Fabulous epilogue included!!! 1 star taken off for no-virgins-included.

I don’t even know where to begin the newest book by Logan Chance Newlyfeds is something we haven’t seen from him and it seems like no matter what Logan writes he hits it out of the park!

Vin is your typical hot shot FBI agent you know the type hot and cocky and you just know he knows how to frisk you in all the right places. He is partnered with the slightly uptight Addison and their cover is they have to pretend to be married. Vin and Addison don’t exactly see eye to eye on things he’s more laid back while Addison not so much. When they move In together and have to put on the act of being newlyweds the sparks fly and takes they both by surprise.

Addison feels like she has to prove herself in the male dominated FBI. So she may seem uptight but when she has to pretend to be a housewife she cant seem to help falling for her pretend husband. A few stolen kisses here and there and she wants more than a pretend marriage.

When the undercover mission they have to complete to get the perpetrator and take down a mob boss gets more complicated and they seem to be hitting a dead end they get thrown for a loop no one saw coming.

Another amazing book by logan Chance that I can’t wait to re read because he knows exactly how to take you on a roller coaster of emotions and leave you on the edge of your seat

My dream is to live in the Highlands with everyone, it just seems like the perfect community. Vin and Addison aren’t too keen on being partnered up but just like the Yin and Yang these two agents are perfect for the case. This story is filled with non stop laughs, friendships, lust and even the mysterious “who dunnit” keeping us all on our toes until the very end. The storyline is strong and vivid, it’s as though we’re watching a movie in our minds eye as the story unfolds. A non stop page turner from the very beginning until the final sentence is completed. If you’re looking for a lighthearted read that will have you chuckling then this is the story for you. Bump it up to the top of your TBR list and make it your next read. You will not be disappointed.

Everything about this book was amazing, it was funny, exciting and hot in all the right places. I was hooked from the first page and couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Vin and Addison was off the charts, and the couple had me laughing on a number of occasions.

Another word needs to be invented for how good this book is.

I would highly recommend this book, it was fresh, funny and so easy to read. It has it all, humour, mystery, love and all the feels that come with reading a really good story. I seriously loved it. Logan Chance doesn't disappoint at all.

L'amore trova la strada. "Love will find a way", and in Logan's style of writing we all know so well we wait for the plot to evolve. The cooking episodes were hilarious, and we get just enough clues to keep you on your toes. The chemistry between Addison and Vin is off the charts "HOT". I should be mad at Logan for melting my kindle all the time, but what the heck its all par of the course with his books. Another exceptional 5 star read, and the epilogues took your breath away.

I loved everything about this book! Not only was it good because of all the bantering at the beginning between the main characters and then watching their feelings turn to love, but the suspense added in the mix was intense! And the relationships Vin and Addison developed with the secondary characters rounded the story and made it even more sweet. It was amazing!
