This is a good book as reference for young adults, those new to business ownership, or reading up on the many different topics related to money. I didn't read every section but enjoyed the quick sections across a wide array of areas. As the book is ~25 years old, a number of references are really out dated (pagers, email, websites) but still with skimming through. Look forward to reading other books from author.

A bassackwards cocept on financial investing/life fullfillment. An every man/women for themselves view on life. Basically its the concept of how not live off of or leave behind any inheritance of any kind. You make/spend everything you have...no freebies except that which you make yourself...very whitty book indeed! We work for what we deserve in full before we leave this earth. Death will do us no part because we leave nothing behind (financially).

Bout time I got serious with some financial things - and this book seems pretty powerful, with down-to-earth advice on LOTS of different areas. I like the way the author has a no nonsense approach as well.

This is a decent reference book that people might enjoy having on their shelves for reference. Stephan Pollan is rather opinionated though, so read with a pinch of salt. Somewhat outdated by now as things have changed since the book's publishing, but enough has stayed the same.

An alphabetical discussion of topics related to money and finance, from annuities to zero-coupon bonds. Some useful information.
