Unsolved: Classic True Murder Cases

Rate this book
To fascinate, the mere fact of a murder being unsolved is not enough. After all, hundreds of crimes are committed without even a suspect to show, and thousands of people just vanish never to be seen or heard of again. Nowadays, they do not even make the headlines. No, to fascinate there has to be something more, something to catch the an unexplained clue, an ambiguity of evidence, a courtroom drama, perhaps with a life hanging in the balance, or simply the sheer thrill of terror. The cases in this book have all these things in abundance. They are all murders, and every one is a classic of its kind. But, beyond the immediate shock of gruesome events and strange circumstances, what ultimately gives these unsolved crimes their fascination is the human personality itself.

One frustratingly unclear case after another. One always comes away wishing to turn back the clock and see the crime scene for oneself. Did they miss something I might have picked up on?
