This high-end illustrated book on Robbie Williams presents a selection of German star photographer Fryderyk Gabowicz's best pictures of the star from 1993 to 1999. Gabowicz is well known in Germany for his work for the big music magazine "Bravo" during the 80s and 90s. This book features many previously unpublished pictures of Robbie Williams that present a fascinating new glimpse into the star's life. Robbie Williams has everything it takes to be an international pop star: a great voice, on stage presence and the looks. Over the last years, he has sold millions of records, his tours are always sold out and his most devoted fans are ready to pay huge amounts of money for a concert ticket. Like many other pop stars, Robbie Williams - born in 1974 in England - started showing his singing and entertaining qualities early on in his childhood. His breakthrough in the music business came in 1990 with Take That. They boy band quickly conquered the hearts of teenagers all over the world and had eight number one hits in the UK. However, as time passed by, Robbie Williams started feeling less and less comfortable with the band's prefabricated image and strict marketing rules. Therefore he ended up leaving the band five years later. Leading a wild lifestyle, he was often in the tabloids due to his addiction to drugs and alcohol. After suffering a deep identity crisis, he managed to recover and start a solo career. Several albums later, he has become a steady member of the music industry's big league.
