Great collection of buddhist and hindu stories of life. Its organized topically and functionally in four chapters to show their underlying religious and social teaching. It illustrates values such as courage and generosity, truthfulness and compassion, asceticism and detachment. Originally published in 1942. Great read for plane, train or car!
