Kelsey tries her best to stay away from Mitchel, focusing on school work and trying to stay out of trouble with her Mom, but it doesn't last long.
Not when Mitchel keeps climbing through her bedroom window.
Things soon spiral out of control and getting suspended isn't the worst of it, getting into fights and shopping for prom dresses is just another day in Radley.
It starts with a game of truth or dare and ends with a sex tape, and a revelation from JT about their past.
And just when Kelsey thinks the drama is over and things are looking up her mom drops a bombshell that will change everything.

First off Blue Raspberry is a completed series and I read them back to back so my review is the same for all of them because it’s encompassing.

So this series starts off as a contemporary YA/NA romance and as the main characters get older some of the scenes get more explicit. There’s 13 books in the series that feature some raw situations and I found that with each book ending I was hooked and needed to get into the next. It is fortunate that each book isn’t particularly long but written well enough that I didn’t feel like something was missing. I will say up until the last two books you will see that there is a continual back and forth pattern.

Kelsey and Mitchel’s story is a roller coaster and for the most part I find their toxic relationship frustrating because it’s alway back and forward between them and so many others get involved; it’s a mess.

Overall as a series I would give it a 4 out of 5 ⭐️ rating. They each brought a lot of feeling to the surface, I have laughed, cried and been frustratingly annoyed with some of the characters and the only reason why it’s not a 5 for me is because some it was too repetitive the characters weaknesses were played on a bit heavy for example Colt was way too forgiving, Kelsey and Mitchel both had this need to hurt each other and play on each other’s insecurities and by the end of the series I was still left with questions:
- what happen to Silas (I’m assuming he’s dead but could be wrong) he’s just gone !
- now I can read between the lines but I’m guessing it’s Paige and Boston right? What happens in their story?
- JT and Nessie are a package deal too what made her decide to be with him; how did this happen

Otherwise I loved the series but would really like to read some spin offs about the other characters.

It seems some sticky situation is getting the characters all heated up and we get more information in this segment.
