Not the first Chicken Soup for the Soul book I have read, and won't be the last! I love these inspirational short stories, from real people famous or not. This book was especially nice with a love theme attached to it. All the stories were heart melting and wonderful. They were as always inspirational too! I can't wait to pop open the next book I have in the series... and be sure to know I will soon!
I enjoy reading other people's love stories. Some are amazing trips of passion and fire. While thiers are reminders of the lil things that matter so. But they all help me focus back on those I love so deeply. You can get that same effect while reading Chicken Soup for the Soul: True Love. Story after story that melts your heart. I found the story titled 'Dancing Lessons' paticularly moving. Why, well I believe that dancing is a way for our bodies and souls to entertwine. It is the pure act of joy that moves our bodies to the sound of music. To share that joy with the one you love and loves you back is a step to pure bliss.
I love the Chicken Soup for the Soul Books! They are quick reads that lift you up and put a little pep in your step! Although I am not quite finished with this one - it's no different than the others! Thanks to my husband for getting me this book for mothers day! It reminds me how much I love him!
This book was pathetic. It had maybe 2 stories in the 100 that were any good at all. I have read alot of the Chicken Soup books and this one seemed like they just took any story they could find, slapped them together and knew they could sell it under the brand Chicken Soup. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Profesionální spisovatelé, pisálci a motivátoři všech druhů napíší prvoplánově dojímavé příběhy (nejlépe s poučením) na jakékoliv téma. Kouzlo se poněkud vytratilo. Až se nabízí slovo „nevkusné“.
It has been a long time since I read a Chicken Soup book. I really enjoyed reading these 101 stories- people’s love stories. They were uplifting and funny and spiritual and entertaining. They helped me love and appreciate my own love a little more. Who doesn’t appreciate a good love story?
Love is something that can not be taken away in this realistic. Love brings us happiness and encouragement to move on in life. In this book, every story shares bittersweet love story going in between a couple. Love, however, can get complicated when situation is not going well between the two people. But, it does not mean there is never going to be a solution for it. In addition, the book has also given some tips for couple to solve relationship problems due to similar experiences.
The book seems okay to me. Every story reminds me of similar things I see outside. Couple gets very emotional when things are not going the right way between the two people. Sometimes, the situation gets really terrible in which causes couple to break up. In my opinion, breaking-up is not a bad sign although it is negative connotation. It is the matter of person is not ready to move on next step of having relationship. Life in this realistic world makes us challenge and experience new things.
I would recommend this book to people who enjoy reading love story.
I purchased the book because I was starting to lose my faith in true love, given the cruel society we have today and the divorce complex (especially in the U. S.).
And man, the faith was renewed! What can I say.
I had lots of favorites in the "How We Met" and "Meant To Be" chapters. I chuckled with the funny accounts and also shed a tear or two with the sentimental tales.
Also, I originally planned to give the book away after I was done with it. But due to the warm wonders it brought, I changed my mind. I am so keeping the book, chicos, chicas!
I absolutely love Chicken Soup for the Soul books I have read many of them in the past. There are a few stories I felt personally didn't really match this particular volume of True Love but overall I feel that it was another great volume of stories. There were many touching stories that touched my heart and that I highly enjoyed.
These were sweet stories. I was trying to get into the love mood and trying to get hope from listening to this that all is not lost with love. Alas, it didn't work out so well. I might appreciate this book if I was actually in love.
Enjoyed - once again! I listen on Audible and enjoy listening to this since it is many short stories & it can be divided into small bits. It is a good one to listen to as I drift off to sleep since I have heard it before.
This book is a compilation of more than 100 short love stories. It's divided according to the cycle of love and relationships. The stories are comical, witty and easy breezy to read
