I used to have a lengthy biography here, but got tired of trying to keep it updated. In a nutshell: I write horror, humor (mostly Disney related), and occasionally philosophy. I don't participate much in social media, but am happy to hear from readers and answer any questions you might have. I am deeply appreciative of all of you who have read and supported me over the years.

I think this is this best thing I've written to date (if I don't say so myself). I hope you like it!

I'll tell you what I was told when I was given this this book to review: Make sure you have plenty of time to read, because once you start you won't want to stop. And this is true. I broke for food and that's it. This is yet another compelling novella from Cemetery Dance that defies description.

It begins easily enough and leads you along a path filled with clues to that will leave you wondering the purpose of it all. And then, and then....the breathtaking ending...

I cannot recommend this highly enough.

What a wild ride! I don’t want to say anything else because you should just start reading this without knowing what’s going on, but you should definitely read it. Now I’m off to look for more books by the author.

Aw this was so good. I'm not sure I understood the ending and now I need to talk about it with someone!

I picked up this book based on the reviews I saw from other readers. After starting, it didn't take long to realize this book truly reads like a journal. There is definitely a story within the pages, but it's told reflectively through journal entries. I really like the underlying premise of the book, which is trying to change the future by getting a "do over" on decisions or actions that may have had less than desirable outcomes. There were certain elements that I'm not sure added a lot of value, such as the Patrons. I think the story could have been creepier by just focusing on the human element and showing that repeating history may not always make things better, and the ripple effect that one decision could have for years to come. A thought that kept occurring to me throughout the book was "why is there only one journal?" What if there were other journals throughout the world, with multiple people trying to fix past wrongs? Overall, I enjoyed the book. The journal format makes it a quick, easy read. I'm not sure I would rank it at the top of my list as one of the best I've ever read and as life-changing as some other reviewers described it, but it was enjoyable and definitely a page turner.

Chilling

I greatly enjoyed this story. The writing style and premise were really creative and left me guessing how this was going to end. I have a lot of questions about certain revelations near the middle and end of the story. I have a feeling I know what happened though and that just makes the rest of the story all the more creepy. Excellent work. I will look out for more from this author.

Interesting concept about a girl writing in a journal to her future self (or is it????) The journal tells her to do things and she is trying to figure out if she is saving the world or helping to destroy it.
There is a line in the book that I think sums the book up beautifully. “Sometimes Hope has the devil’s face. Keep that in mind. Always.”

DO NOT REMOVE THE BINDER CLIPS.
DO NOT LOOK AHEAD IN THIS JOURNAL.
And
DO NOT STOP READING “TOMORROW’S JOURNAL” until you’ve read the whole thing.
First day? I almost trashed it, but I made a promise to myself years ago the I should struggle through even the worst book because someone struggled to write it.
Second day? Rolled my eyes and wondered if I was going to make it.
Third day? Laughed until my eyes leaked.
Fourth day? Found myself exhausted trying to figure out how Cancilla came up with the idea to write the book…clever devil!
Fifth day? Lunatic-giggled over the “Nothing is nearly as bad as you think it is” statement on page 210.

Here it is…Sixth day…Hello? Is there more?

Final warning….BEFORE READING THE BOOK…
THICKEN YOUR THIN SKIN
FORGET HOW EASILY OFFENDED YOU CAN BE

ALLOW YOUR INNER SNARK SUFFICIENT ROOM TO GROW

I REALLY wanted to like this book; it seemed to check all the boxes of a great psychological mindf***. But, sadly, it didn't do it for me. I found I was making myself read it, because I just so badly wanted it to work, finally I gave up and admitted I wasn't digging it at about 60%. To be fair, maybe it got AMAZING after that, but for me the author spent way too much time going back and forth with the younger "I DONT GET IT! WHYYYYY?" and the older "I'm not telling you get over it" on and on and on. The story got put to the wayside because the author wanted so badly to make it what a "real" girl would do in the situation that it just became so annoying. Not for me, maybe for some!

I read the whole thing in one day. Which is surprising since I am an average reader. It is a very fast read. I have never read a book written in this style, it made me just want to keep reading. It is about a girl who finds a journal in her room that has some very strict rules about using it. As the girl continues to use it, it seems to be leading her down path to save the world. But will she believe the journal or listen to it and still do what she wants? Excellent read.

I actually read this last year and reviewed it via Twitter. I honestly expected this title to take off but surprisingly very rarely see it mentioned anywhere. It's a fantastic story, well written.

As a hormonal stereotypical teenager would you take advice from yourself via a journal written when you were older?

A very quick read, dare I say the definition of a page turner and ripe for a Netflix adaptation.

A superb story with a brilliant ending.

A teen finds a journal in her room that demands that she write in it. The journal seems to know about her future. At first you wonder if it’s her boyfriend writing to her from the future. Or it might be herself… What is this mysterious journal trying to tell her? Weird fiction author Dominick Cancilla keeps us turning the supernatural pages of “Tomorrow’s Journal,” but we’re warned not to try to look ahead. It tries admirably to give the horror of 2020 a run for its money.

This book provided great, fast-paced entertainment. I read it in a day.
The concept - of being able to speak with someone in "real-time" who claims to be from the future, and is trying to save the world - is a very intriguing & compelling idea. I became so frustrated with the present-time main character for not listening to the future character, and the ending is chilling.

This is an almost criminally under known book. And I admit, I’m part of the problem. After all, I owned it for five years before finally reading it. Now that I have, though, I’m here to tell you to ignore the less than stellar cover and read this book. It’s clever throughout and has an ending that lands like a punch in the gut.

What an odd story this is.

There are a set of rules that must be followed. To not follow them will result in catastrophic events. No matter what happens, the rules must be followed.

As a reader, you'll be pulled between what is a logical choice versus what an emotional choice can lead to.

Highly recommend for a unique and entertaining change in genres.

Buy it!

This book was incredible! I couldn't believe how stubborn the main character is. I wanted to slap her so many times. The ending was great! I hope there will be more of this story soon!

I don't hand out 5 stars very often, but this book deserves it. It's still sticking with me two months after reading it.
The plot is simple with would a younger you listen to a older you. The idea of one's younger, hormone ridden, know it all self listening to a older self through a journal. Something very, very bad is coming and could you convince your teenage self to help stop it. A great page turner that I burned through in one afternoon to know how it would end. Do yourself a favor and pick up this book.
