This was my first Endow study and the group of women who gathered were gracious, kind and compassionate as we delved into the aspects of suffering and the role it plays in our own lives and the world. The study draws from a letter written by Pope John Paul II and the study felt familiar to others I had done, and yet challenging. I learned a bit about myself and why I do and respond in some of the ways that I do. I can see how my response to suffering has changed and I can mark the need to always bring more compassion (love) into my life.
