So if you like cheer leading this would be a good book to read.Honestly i'm not a cheer leading type of girl i like cheer leading but not a lot. I'll look cute in the outfits. So the author is very nice because she gives you history on the book but also give you cheers to try and help you do the cheer moves. But she also give chants to give you a idea of how easy it would be to remember the chant and cheers. So she tells you how cheer leading was discovered in 1898 by someone name Campbell. This was very interesting to me because i thought a quad of six boys started cheer leading which i heard. Then it also states how cheer leading was unisex so boys could join cheer leading also even though most schools really don't except that because it is a original girl sport. Then it got into how so people might be offended and say it not a sport. But it states in high school you can count it as a sport because in high school you cheering to the other cheer team as it was a competition which in high school it kinda becomes one.But in middle school some people who really into the meaning sports would argue and say that in middle school cheer leading would not be concerted as a sport because you're not cheering to no one but the basketball ten or football you're not going against no one so its not concerned a sport. In my opinion a sport is something were you're going against other schools. But i know people would argue with me about that.Like i would argue that gymnastics is a sport because im a gymnast and it is because its in the Olympic. So the book was mainly about cheers and chant the background on cheer leading people opinion on cheer leading and how cheer leading is unique. So i would rate this book a 8 out of 10 because i do not like how it explain the background and how to do the cheer moves.I would definitely recommend this book to someone who love cheer leading or someone who just want more background about cheer leading.
