Miloš: I want to say that I liked it, and I loved it, and also I am proud of Nemo for winning the race. And I am also proud of him for "just keep swimming," and he just kept trying to, and he didn't give up. And before the others he made it through the flags.

Papa: Are you proud of reading it?

Miloš: Uh-huh. I am proud of myself for reading it.

Papa: I am proud of you too, Loš.

A fun book about never quitting and having friends/family around that believes in you.

A bright and fun Nemo book from Disney. A good book for beginning readers. Even though Nemo has a deformed fin, he joins the swim team and through perseverance wins the race. Yeah Nemo!

This is a nice book to read to your child heading into preschool/kindergarten. The words are short and easy to pronounce. As well as big and bold so she can see each distinctive letter.

I would suggest watching the movie first. Not only will it make it easy to understand she can also familiarize herself with the characters.

This is a good simple book to encourage children that may feel like they aren't 'as good' as the other children in a group. To encourage them to just keep working at something and that they can do it. Just like Nemo with his 'bad fin' Dory encourages him to just keep swimming and trying and he can do it. And yes, he does and he does eventually wins first place!

I like how they take a phrase/part of a movie and change up the plot to make it a story about perseverance that still has kids' favorite characters in it.

My nephews are enjoying the other step into reading books a lot more. So I took a star away.

I feel like the mean teacher withholding good behavior star stickers....

You have to keep swimming to try. If you keep practicing you'll get it. This book is about swimming. Nemo is winning. Nemo is one of Zoya's [Felicity's friend:] favorite fish. - Felicity
