When Thomas is hired by a young man to find his missing brother, he unknowingly stumbles upon an international human trafficking network being spearheaded by a band of travelling gypsies. And while Thomas is in conflict with none other than the FBI over the investigation, his business partner, Anna, is thrown into the middle of a well-respected family's deep dark secrets that were meant to stay dead and buried with a fallen civil war soldier. Ironcutter sounds like someone I could hang out and enjoy a beer with. He has a good eye for fine scotch and fine cars. He's surrounded by beautiful young women yet he's lonely. Like a real person, he fights depression.

Complex (but not overly complex) plot, engaging subplots, well developed characters, fast pace... everything you could ask for in a novel.

A very good read

Thomas Ironcutter is one of my favorite fictional detectives. Mr. Achord writes with a passion and a sense of humor. His books are fun to read and are very entertaining.

Good boom

Damned good series. Damned good book. I would read it again and I never read a book twice. The end.
