Cowboy Courage

Rate this book
Love gets a second chance in this charming cowboy romance from the New York Times bestselling author of The Family Journal.

After spending years traveling the world with the military, Rose O'Malley is ready for a change. Heading back to Texas to hold down the fort at her aunt's bed-and-breakfast will give Rose just the break she needs. But while she may speak seven languages, she can't repair a leaky sink to save her life. When Hudson Baker strides in like a hero and effortlessly figures out the fix, Rose can't help wondering if the boy she once crushed on as a kid could now be her saving grace.

Hud has always been rock-solid and dependable-a quintessential cowboy to his core. But the moment Rose steps back into his life, his world is turned upside down by meddling family, a rescued baby, and one highly mischievous cat. Now he'll have to decide if it's time to throw caution to the wind and do whatever it takes to convince Rose that by her side is exactly where he wants to stay.

Includes the bonus novella, Wildflower Ranch, a continuation of Daisies in the Canyon.

Hi! I'm twenty five years old and movie star gorgeous. The camera added thirty plus years and a few wrinkles. Can't trust those cameras or mirrors either. Along with bathroom scales they are notorious liars! Honestly, I am the mother of three fantastic grown children who've made me laugh and given me more story ideas than I could ever write. My husband, Charles, is my strongest supporter and my best friend. He's even willing to eat fast food and help with the laundry while I finish one more chapter! Life is good and I am blessed!

Reading has been a passion since I was five years old and figured out those were words on book pages. As soon as my chubby little fingers found they could put words on a Big Chief tablet with a fat pencil, I was on my way. Writing joined reading in my list of passions. I will read anything from the back of the Cheerio's box to Faulkner and love every bit of it. In addition to reading I enjoy cooking, my family and the ocean. I love the Florida beaches. Listening to the ocean waves puts my writing brain into high gear.

I love writing romance because it's about emotions and relationships. Human nature hasn't changed a bit since Eve coveted the fruit in the Garden of Eden. Settings change. Plots change. Names change. Times change. But love is love and men and women have been falling in and out of it forever. Romance is about emotions: love, hate, anger, laughter... all of it. If I can make you laugh until your sides ache or grab a tissue then I've touched your emotions and accomplished what every writer sets out to do.

I got serious about writing when my third child was born and had her days and nights mixed up. I had to stay up all night anyway and it was very quiet so I invested in a spiral back notebook and sharpened a few pencils. The story that emerged has never sold but it's brought in enough rejection slips to put the Redwood Forest on the endangered list. In 1997 Kensington bought two books for their Precious Gems line. Two years and six books later the line died with only four of those books seeing publication. But by then Avalon had bought a book and another, and another. Ten years later the list has grown to thirty nine. Last year Sourcebooks bought the Lucky Series which is in the bookstores now. They've also bought The Honky Tonk Series which will debut with I LOVE THIS BAR in June and will be followed by HELL, YEAH, MY GIVE A DAMN'S BUSTED, and HONKY TONK CHRISTMAS.

Folks ask me where I get my ideas. Three kids, fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren. Note: I was a very young grandmother! Life is a zoo around here when they all come home. In one Sunday afternoon there's enough ideas to keep me writing for years and years. Seriously, ideas pop up at the craziest times. When one sinks its roots into my mind, I have no choice but to write the story. And while I'm writing the characters peek over my shoulder and make sure I'm telling it right and not exaggerating too much. Pesky little devils, they are!

I have a wonderful agent, Erin Niumata, who continues to work magic and sell my work. I'm very lucky to have her and my editors who continue to believe in me.

Happy reading!

Rose and Hud met in junior high school, fell hard, and never forgot each other. Now as adults they’re both in the same part of Texas, and it’s as if they never parted, but it’s a temporary situation. Rose is holding down the fort at her Aunt Molly’s B & B while Molly’s off vacationing, but she has no permanent plans yet. Rose has a few weeks to decide if she’ll re-enlist in the military or get a job as a civilian. However, the longer she stays in Texas with Hud, this sweet, caring cowboy, the more she can’t picture leaving.

Hud’s never forgot Rose, and never felt as deeply for any other woman. Can he convince her to stay?

Cowboy Courage
was a fun and sexy romance. Hud and Rose had an easy going, low-angst, sweet romance that progressed naturally and I really enjoyed their journey. I can always count on a good time and a few laughs when I pick up one of Ms. Brown’s stories, and she didn’t disappoint. Rose’s feisty Aunt Luna was a hoot! I loved how she handled Rose’s chauvinistic father and a pair of ridiculous cops! Don’t cross her when she’s got “Madam” (her pistol) in tow!

Cowboy Courage is the sixth book in Carolyn Brown's Longhorn Canyon series but I had no problem reading it without reading the previous books. The book starts off with Cactus, aka Rose, and Hud meeting again for the first time since being middle school sweet hearts. Right away there was an evident connection between them that had me settling in with my book knowing that I wouldn't be moving until I was done. And I wasn't wrong, these characters had me captivated and I loved reading about them.

Rose was the most intriguing character for me, which is why I was a little sad that we didn't get more of her background. She grew up in a commune and then served in the military as a translator which was so interesting that I wanted to know all about it. Instead it was just brought up that she spoke a lot of languages, traveled with the military, and of course her childhood was in the commune. But it wasn't shown as much as I would have liked.

But not knowing that information didn't take away from the chemistry she had with Hud at all and we definitely got plenty of that. It was fun to see how they worked so well together and fell into an easy relationship after meeting again. Even though sometimes it was a little too easy between them
and I was looking for a something more to keep me loving the book, I still ended it with a smile over Hud and Rose being together.

3 "No, but this does." Stars

Fun, witty, light romance. I enjoyed this friends-to-lovers'esque, second chance romance from Carolyn Brown, my first story by her. I thought the western, cowboy aspect was fitting to the story she's telling through Rose and Hud and who they are which are really likable characters with many redeeming qualities. Both strong and passionate, compassionate and smart. Briefly sweethearts in high school, separated by circumstances out of their control and then reconnected later only to find the spark still aflame. The chemistry was evident. This was a relationship built on fondness which really worked for these two characters. Through the middle I did feel like it started to drag. I don't know what it is with me with more light-hearted romance that even though there's words on the page the lack of depth in the story starts to wear on me. And some of the outlying events surrounding their new again connection didn't quite work for me. But Brown does a great job of making you fall for her characters, secondary ones included, that you need to see it through. It's love, laughter, and friendship in Cowboy Courage.

I don't feel like doing my "traditional" review so here's what I got:

First line:
"Hud Baker felt like a rodeo bull in a lingerie shop."

Last line:
"Yes, my cowboy, we're going home."

Cute Line:
"His foot was still wet, and with the freezing temperature outside, his toes would probably be frostbitten when he got home, but flirting with Rose was well worth whatever price he had to pay."

Other cute line:
"He marveled at how tiny the cute little outfits were, and wondered if someday he'd be picking out things with ducks and kittens printed on them for his own child."

It's for scenes like this one that I'm a Carolyn Brown fan:
"Rose's phone pinged as she climbed the stairs. She slipped it out of her hip pocket to find a text from Hud.
It was just a link to a song, "You Make It Easy," by Jason Aldean"

Note to myself:
Ice cream date sounds like the shortest way to my heart.

Other note to myself:
Chester the cat is adorable and great-aunt Luna is probably call that for lunatic!😜

So it's book 6 on the Longhorn Canyon series but I'm not ready to say goodbye to these guys and so happy to know there'll be a next book. We have to do what is good for our hearts and Carolyn Brown's books are good for my ❤.

Steady, quieter, and hard-working Hud Baker never wanted much, but he starts wishing mighty hard for the girl of his dreams to want him back and want to stay with him when sassy Rose O'Malley arrives to temporarily help out her great-aunt by running the B&B while Molly's on her European vacation. If I want feel-good, fun-loving down home cowboy romances, I need look no further than Carolyn Brown's Longhorn Canyon series and Cowboy Courage is no exception.

Cowboy Courage is the sixth entry in the Longhorn Canyon series of standalones. It can be easily picked up on its own though it does reference back to the earlier couples in the series who are some of the side characters in this one.

Hud encountered Cactus Rose O'Malley at his friend's wedding, but it was not their first meeting. Rose was his junior high first love and the girl who stayed in his memories long after her family moved away. Now, nearly fifteen year's later, she's around again and that electrifying feeling he had for her is sparking as strongly as ever. Hud never wanted more than a ranch to work on and build up, a wife, and family and now he suspects that Rose might be it for him. If only she would stick around instead of going back into the Army.

Rose's enlistment is up and she needs to do some powerful thinking on whether to re-enlist or move on. Her folks want her to come to live at the Commune in Kentucky with them. She loves her family, but commune living and its rules is not for her. But, what is? She has a gift for linguistics and speaks seven languages which made her a great asset in the army, but there isn't much call for that sort of thing in ranch country. But, there is Hud, his extended family, the friendly small town there. Maybe she can finally stop wandering and sink her roots.

Cowboy Courage is an easy going, gentle romance. There are some mishaps and a brief bit of excitement, but for the most part, the conflict is internal as Rose has to figure out what she really wants and where she fits. Hud is a hero all around from his quiet, humble, hard work as rancher and volunteer firefight to his love for family and his neighbors. He's rooted deep and knows who he is and where he belongs. In a sense, he is static with Rose moving and shifting around him. Waiting and respecting her enough to do it without putting on pressure or trying to manipulate her made him even more fabulous.

Of course, it wouldn't be a Longhorn Canyon story without a feisty senior to liven things up and this comes from Rose's Great Aunt and her pistol, Madam. There were some hilarious scenes with her around. Oh, and that crazy cat Chester who stole the scene more than once.

While I enjoyed Cowboy Courage and am semi-in love with Hud, I do have to admit that this one just missed it for me. I think it was the last quarter that caused this. I saw the point of where the author took things and why they went there. However, it felt obvious to me that the important choices were presented and made with the heroine just hem-hawing at that point and going through the motions of hashing through things longer than needed. Then there was that quick bit of fussing at the end that came out of the blue to me. Fortunately, it was gone just as quickly.

But, that said, this was still a solid, entertaining and enjoyable read that I'm glad to have picked up. I definitely want more Longhorn Canyon series- Paxton!!! And, more from this auto-buy author that I can easily recommend to those who love cowboy charm, hilarious antics, and sassy heroines in their cowboy romances.

My thanks to Forever for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Four stars: A charming second chance romance with some quirky and endearing characters.

Cactus Rose is temporarily minding her aunt’s bed and breakfast for a few weeks. Rose hopes it will give her time to rest up and make up her mind as to what she wants to do next. Rose speaks seven languages. She used those skills in the military traveling the world for the last few years. She isn’t sure if she wants to re-enlist or settle down. Then when Hud Baker, a blast from her past, comes striding into her life again, her heart jumps. Rose fell hard for Hud in middle school, before her parents whisked her away back to an isolated life in the commune. Time and distance separated them, but it seems the heart hasn’t forgotten. Will Rose finally settle down?
What I Liked:
*Another Carolyn Brown book, another charming read. I liked that this cowboy romance featured unexpected, quirky characters and a sweet second chance romance. There is plenty to love in this one.
*Cactus Rose is an unconventional character. With a name like Cactus Rose, you know she has to be unique. Raised in an isolated commune, Rose was desperate to spread her wings, even if that meant going against her father’s wishes. Serving in the military, Rose saw the world, but she never felt settled, until she returned to Texas. I loved that Rose was daring, smart and willing to follow her heart. She is sassy and spunky too, which I loved especially considering her background.
*Hud Baker is everything you love in a cowboy. He is hardworking, tall, kind and handsome and he has a heart of gold. Time and time again, he shows generosity and bravery toward neighbors and strangers. Who wouldn’t want a man who dashes into burning buildings to rescue others?
Aside from Hud and Rose, there are some fantastic secondary characters. My favorite was Aunt Luna. Her name is fitting as she is a bit of a lunatic. She whips in out of nowhere after she gets in a fight with her long time common law husband. Luna is an old time hippie who likes her whiskey. She is an absolute hoot. I couldn’t get enough of her. Then there are plenty of catchups with the cast of characters from the previous books in the series. You get all caught up to date on the happenings of everyone else in this series.
*The romance is charming. I love that it picks up where it left off in junior high. It was if time and distance fell away. The two hearts reconnect and things take off. I love that it was a simple romance without a bunch of drama and conflict.
*I loved that this book had many unconventional story lines. From Rose’s unique upbringing, to the tornado, broken hearts and new beginnings. I liked that this book was a bit unexpected.
*I love that you can pick up this book without having read any of the other books as it is a companion novel. If you have read the full series, it is fun to catch up with all the other couples from the previous five books, but it certainly isn’t necessary to read the rest of the series.
*The book ends with a bright happy spot. All is well for the gang, but there is more to come, I hope.
And The Not So Much:
*I was fascinated by Rose’s unconventional upbringing in a commune. However, I was disappointed that there wasn’t much background or detail on her life in this religious commune. Only when Rose makes a short trip back does the reader get a glimpse into her life. I wish that this part of the story was fleshed out more.
*Aunt Luna was my favorite character, but I wasn’t thrilled with what happened to her. It just didn’t fit her character to settle where she did. I wanted her to get payback and stay with Rose!
*I was disappointed in Rose’s little tantrum toward the end of the book. She should have known Hud better and not made assumptions. It was silly.

Cowboy Courage is a charming book with an adorable second chance romance and unforgettable characters. If you want a cute, entertaining feel good story, this is one to grab. Don’t worry if you haven’t read the previous five books in the series as this is a companion/ stand alone novel. Don’t miss this fun read.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own, and I was not compensated for this review.

What a great story! Carolyn Brown knows how to write a good love story with a lot of humor to make you laugh-out-loud! Rose and Hud won my heart early on and had me rooting for them to have a happy ending. In real life I'm afraid a lesser man would have run for the hills because it seemed like everytime Hud and Rose were together something went wrong. I just love all the characters in this book, especially Luna, Rose's eccentric aunt. Red, Hud's dog, is even a great character! You can't go wrong with this feel-good story about small town Texas and two people that have loved each other since that one year they had together two decades prior when they were in middle school.

In admittedly one of my favorite tropes, that of a second chance romance, Rose O'Malley and Hudson Baker get a chance to finally get it right and to find their way to a happy future. This is certainly not the turn in life Rose expected. Instead, she is waiting for a promising promotion at work. Meanwhile, dealing with the fact that she was left her aunt's bed and breakfast has her all twisted up.

For one thing, it needs a lot of work - and time. Does she even have time to get involved in a romance, and with the man who once snagged her heart? Besides, being in Texas is only a temporary thing and it seems that Hud has his roots set nice and firm.

Hud has his own world turned upside down. Of course, being in close proximity with Rose is enough to knock off his cowboy hat. Factor in other troubling scenarios, like a baby that was found. Can Hud redirect his life in such a way to find a joyous bounty at the end?

I loved this book by Carolyn Brown. In fact, I have enjoyed the entire series. Although I am rather addicted to series, this book, as well as the others, does perfectly fine as a standalone. The next book is Cowboy Strong, where Pax gets his story, and that is coming in June, 2020.

Received in exchange for a honest review.

I don’t what it is about Carolyn Brown but every one of her cowboy romances I have fallen in love with and this one is not exception. For me it was Hud that made the book. Why? His strength in himself and what he wants. His roots and knowing where he belongs and who he is. His roots to his family and his loyalty. He is comfortable in his own skin and a wonderful, caring, honest hard worker. He has his ranch and works hard on it. He has his family he loves and is there for people when they need him. So when Rose comes to town after years of being away to take care of her aunt’s B&B Hud’s world gets rocked. The girl he loved and lost is back and he wants her to see him as the one to stay for. The chemistry is instant and explosive. I love how they interact with one another. How he helps Rose take care of the Bed and Breakfast when she needs it even if she seems flummoxed by it all.

Rose is at a crossroads to me. She is in between reenlisting and wondering if she wants to but doesn’t know where her language skills could be used outside of the military. While trying to figure it out, she decides to help her aunt and in the process sees her crush from years ago. Only he is helping her in so many ways. He helps her by listening and fixing things. By being there when she needs him and also shows her that she is more than her job. She is smart,, sexy, and funny. And through some events Rose even learns that there are places her skills can be used where she is helping so many and getting a feeling of reward for that as well.

The story is adventurous, fun, sweet and sexy. I love how Hud is there but not pushing Rose to see what he sees. He guides her and shows her.He opens his heart to her even at the risk of being hurt and has faith she will stay.

Cowboy Courage by Carolyn Brown was a lighthearted second-chance romance. Rose O’Malley is back in Texas after serving in the military for years. She decided to help run her Aunt Molly’s B&B while she decides what her next career move should be. Soon enough disaster ensues, bringing Hudson Baker back into her life. They were once each other’s first loves in middle school, but life tore them apart. Now they are trying to rekindle their romance while face a bunch of unexpected challenges life keeps throwing their way.

I must say my favorite part of the novel was reading about the crazy antics of eccentric Aunt Luna. She provided the best comic relief throughout the novel. The chemistry between main characters, Rose and Hud, was palpable. I enjoyed watching their story unfold. I do however wish that we would have gotten a deeper look into their past, especially Rose’s. I found her to be such an interesting character and I would have loved to know more about her life other than just the small glimpses we were shown. Ultimately, this was a quick, breezy read about love and second chances.

M/F Romance
I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

Rose is back in her aunt's lives and helping while one of her four aunts is traveling. While Rose is floundering a little in what her next steps are, she doesn't regret her years in the military. She is well spoken and looking to see if her love of languages will help her land a civilian job, or if she would be better off returning to the D.C. area to find work. While she is helping out at the B & B, she runs in to Hud, her once crush.

Hud has grown up well. He likes working on his ranch and likes his town. But, running in to Rose again takes his breath away. He sees that she has grown in to a beautiful woman and looses his head a little when he sees her.

I wish that we had been given more information on Rose's background. There were hints, but not enough to truly understand her "baggage". Also, while the heroic actions of Hud were entertaining, it felt, at times, really drawn out. Especially since the relationship between Rose and Hud didn't really have conflict.

They had old chemistry that grew in to new chemistry. And, while Hud was saving people and Rose too, at times, they were really saving each other. So, while it was a sweet story, I felt that there was missing background and the story was very draw out.

I didn't dislike it. But I struggled with it a lot. 100 pages in and nothing happens between the main couple. A lot of other random stuff like bringing someone else's baby home, shooting rats of the walls, etc... I read for the romance, the extra stuff needs to be secondary to the main characters. The main character here was the old aunt 🤷‍♀️

DNF at 30 pages.

The setup for this one didn’t work for me. Hud and Rose see each other for the first time since junior high and are immediately smitten. They go out to eat once. Then Hud is called away for a volunteer fire job where he rescues a woman and a baby and ends up taking the baby for the night to stay with him.

I’m not sure how to explain why it isn’t working for me but maybe it’s pacing? Everything is just flying by so fast and doesn’t feel like it’s drawing me in. I’m going to pass on this one.

Things happening too fast.
No lead up to seeing each other again.
Flirting, ridiculously, from the beginning.
Taking a baby home? Just too cheesy. What I refer to as hunky dory. ‘Oh golly gee.’

Set in the back drop of the Ranch land of Texas Carolyn Brown gives us another amazing book filled with humor, love and family.
Hudson Baker was shocked when her realized that Cactus Rose O'Malley was back in town she had stolen his heart all the way back in Junior High School.
Rose was just as floored when she saw the handsome Cowboy Hud Baker after all of these years.
This story will pull at your heart strings and make make you laugh in book the best kind to read. Thank you again Carolyn for giving us magic.

Another addition to Carolyn Brown's Longhorn Canyon series. Rose and Hudson met in junior high, but Rose's very strict father didn't like it and moved the family to a commune. They never forgot each other. After growing up and serving 10 years in the military Rose is back to take care of her Aunt's run down bed and breakfast while she's on vacation. Guess who shows up to do repairs? Is the spark still there? You'll have to read the book. No spoilers here.

This book kept my interest all the way through. It is a story of re-established friendship and love. Rose and Hud were best friends in high school, and during one summer, Rose moved away to live in a commune with her family. They reconnect while she is deciding what to do next...either return to the military for another tour of duty or something else. Her Aunt Luna comes to visit, and the three of them have some entertaining moments. This is a happily ever over romance, but not one of my favorite books by Carolyn Brown. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing). All opinions expressed here are my own.

The story of Rose O’Malley and Hud Baker is a second chance love story. They met in middle school and crushed on each other. He was from a respected ranching family and her family was more transient. Her family left and moved to a commune where she grew up. She later went into the Army. While on leave, Rose is now back in town taking care of her aunt’s B & B while Aunt Molly is traveling.
There Rose reconnects with Hud. A man who seems always to be rescuing those in need.
We get a chance to meet Rose’s aunt Luna who brings some comedy to the story as well as words of wisdom.
It’s a story about second chances, love and family. That said, maybe because I have not read the previous stories, I found it to be ok, but not memorable. More of a “month in the life “ of the characters .
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Forever. The opinions are solely my own.

Cowboy Courage is book 6 in the Longhorn Canyon series by Carolyn Brown while a standalone reading the other books in this series has you filling in the gaps.

“Cactus” Rose O’Malley and Hudson “Hud” Baker met when they were in junior high but one year later she was gone...now years later Rose is on leave from the military and trying to decide what to do with the rest of her life while helping at her aunt’s bed and breakfast and gift shop. I liked a lot about this book - but it also confused me. I liked (Cactus) Rose and Hud a lot - bu I loved Rose's Aunt Luna. She pretty much stole the entire book. I also deeply appreciated that Rose was a veteran. Too often the brave women in our military.

The main focus of the story is reconnecting with your first love. Rose and Hud were junior-high school sweethearts for a year. Rose's family was extremely strict and she grew up in a commune. She met Hud while her family was away from the commune one year. Hud is the quintessential rancher/cowboy. He is also a volunteer firefighter and all around hard-working, good guy. They are extremely well matched and from the moment we meet up with them, you can see that there is no doubt they fit together like peas and carrots.

Almost all of the drama from the book comes in the form of weather, family, and external sources. The only mild drama between Rose and Hud comes from a misunderstanding and over-reaction by Rose.

It is definitely a feel good book with very tame sexy-times.

I will say - that a lot happens in this book - and nothing happens all at the same time. Hud and Rose are sweet - but maybe a little too every-day for my taste. Its the side characters taht make the book worth it.

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley, but these opinons are my own!

I particularly liked the ups and downs with Hud and Rose. It seemed like a lot of natural events paralleled their relationship. Regardless, the story had a happy ending. The only thing that I found bothersome in this story was the characters came across as much older than they were, which may have been from their accents. Otherwise this was a good story.

A sweet western second chance romance
Hud Baker and Cactus Rose O'Malley fell in love in love at first sight in junior high school. Living in a commune, she didn't have the luxury of a normal life. Unfortunately she was only there for two years before her family moved away breaking both their hearts.
Fifteen years later, they meet in another town, neither had married and it was like a bolt of lightening again.
They talk, date and take their second chance, but to get there, we are treated to their insecurities, their current lives and their (mostly hers) quirky families. Disasters are survived as are misunderstandings. The characters are divinely real and their emotions are written exactly right.
Ms. Brown pens this tale so well, you feel as though, and wish you were living it near them. Exquisite emotions, fabulous descriptions and lots of humor will bring this to the top of the charts.
I requested and received this ARC from NetGalley and was thrilled to luck out. The release timing will make it a great Valentine's present for two of my friends. I can't wait to hear their opinion. My opinion is strictly my own....but I'm sure you'll feel the same. I wish I could give it a 10.

Cowboy Courage is a crazy sweet addition to the Longhorn Canyon series. Crazy because in this story every time Hud and Rose are together something happens: broken pipes, an eccentric old lady with a named weapon, overeager animals and cops. Sweet because Carolyn Brown’s imagination creates unforgettable characters, like Luna and Chester that populate her stories. HUD and Rose were each other’s first love at 14. They haven’t seen much of each other in years, but time hasn’t dimmed the attraction. They might get to see where it could lead if there always didn’t seem to be a crisis whenever they are together. This book is a joy to read, filled with laughter and family. Series fans will enjoy catching up with old friends from earlier books in the Longhorn Canyon series, but this certainly can be read as a stand-alone. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.

Cowboy Courage takes readers back to small town Texas where neighbors help each other and the cowboys are dreamy. Rose is at a crossroads in life and has to decide. She reconnects with hottie Hudson from her past and the two ske up for lost time. The character that absolutely steals the story is Aunt Luna and her Madame. I was thoroughly entertained by her antics. Brown knows how to write and I inhale her books. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the early read.
