This is titled wrong, but with the right book pictured. I don't know how to fix it. Trusting God Even when Life Hurts, by Jerry Bridges is a classic in my opinion. I read it first about 23 years ago in one of the greatest crisis times of my life. It steadied me then. My husband and I read it on our road trip this month, and again, it was perfect timing.
The premise is that God is Sovereign, He is good, and we can trust Him. Pretty simple, but Bridges peels back crusty layers of the struggle to actually believe that in time of pain and disappointment. I highly recommend this book.
