A near-death experience from the edge of eternity followed by miraculous healings and a spiritual adventure of a new life on earth. On August 15, 1968, a strong and handsome young skydiver flew upwards for a few moments of pleasure. But within seconds, a fiery plane crash melted his face, mutilated his body and forever changed the life of Mickey Robinson. This book isn't just an ordinary story of tragedy and recovery. This book is about resurrection. "Falling to Heaven" is not about a burned man getting better. It's about a dead man coming to life!
I was so distracted by the numerous printing errors. The editor of this book should be fired. The story was interesting but grammar wise it was a disaster.
I like reading about miracles and Mickey's experiences. Theologically, I was a bit put off by three heavens, but I can't argue with his experiences. All in all it was inspirational and uplifting and makes you remember how omnipresent God is.
The book was written in a way that it was extremely hard to put the book down and quit reading. There was nothing about the book that I disliked. I would recommend it to anyone who has a question in their mind about the existence of a living merciful, loving God. Thank you Mickey for sharing your story.
I thought this book was all-around pretty good. It gives you first hand experiences about his life and what all he had to go through after his fatal accident. It also portrays the power of faith and that miracles really do happen.
I was very inspired and deeply touched by Mickey's heart of humility and love. This book has envisioned me to live for the LORD and love Him with all my heart and listen for His sweet voice.
Maybe I should also classify this one as spiritual. Whatever, this is quite a story. There are a lot of books out that written by people who have claimed to die, experience the afterlife and return to this dimension. This guy is pretty convincing. I heard him on the Eric Metaxas program during Hell Week in March 2017 podcasts. That might be a good introduction to the book.
