Mostly essays written between 1980 and 1996. The begin 80s essays remind of Oswald Mosley and are full of typical cold war anti-communism.
Also I think the writer overestimate Intellectuals too much. Intellectuals are 13 in a dozen, it doesn`t matter what opinion you have there will always be an intellectuel that agrees. The nowadays socalled Intellectual hang on to the old and grey rightwing/leftwing stereotypes and are in no way developing new ideas their only goal is to discuss, discuss and sell infortainment books.
The parts about etnic diversity and the jews are very readable. The parts abou art I don`t know. Cause I`m not into arts.
