I read this book to get a better understanding about my sister's dog, Sydney. The dog is a rescue dog and they believe that she is part Australian Shepherd. She does exhibit some of the herding traits, especially with my sister's other dog, a papillon. This book provided great information about the breed. Passing it along to my sister to add to her library.

A fun read and informative, but light on training.

There was less info than I anticipated for the price. There was a lot of good information about get care, first aid, and Aussie specific issues. However there was no practical advice for raising an Aussie puppy. Overall a pretty good book.
