I didn't want to love you.

We may have had to wait five years since the last Baby for the Billionaire book to finally get Patsy's story but it was certainly worth the wait!
We know Patsy had a rough childhood and she is still insecure, slow to trust and very determined to never rely on anyone, so seeing her well ordered plans screech to a halt when she meets Kyle is great fun. He leaves her flustered, confused and for the first time she wants....a feeling she is puzzled by, especially when wanting turns to craving. No, just NO, this is not in her life plan! Career now, no time for love! But Kyle has other plans.
Kyle has everything he ever wanted or so he thought, but it only takes one encounter with Patsy and he realises his life has a huge hole in it, a Patsy shaped hole! She may be feisty, prickly and certain they cannot possibly have a relationship but he is very determined they can and will. The more she fights the attraction the further he falls. She is smart, beautiful, driven, thoughtful, passionate, compassionate and most of all when she is in his arms she makes him stop thinking, the world around them disappears.
It is fantastic to 'catch up' with the couples from the previous books and as always it is lovely to hear from the Anderson's too. I really enjoyed this book, even with the five year wait!

Loved it

Really happy to read another Melody Anne book. I decided that Joseph and Katherine should become immortal. HA --- if you don't understand - start at the beginning with Lucas and Amy...and work your way through... Only odd part for me was this was part of the Baby for the Billionaire series - but (spoiler alert) no baby? which wasn't bad, just odd to me with the series. Still loved the book.

Editing from a reread of the book: Still loved the book. Still think it's a 5 star book. I love reading about a strong female character working on her career. It's awesome to read how Author Melody Anne takes love and entertwines it with the career, rather than showing how a relationship can kill a career.

Cute story

I was so excited to see a return to one of my favorite series. It was great to visit old friends, and to know that Patsy finally got her HEA.
It's a well written book full of surprises. More light hearted then several of the other books in the series.
I totally understand why Melody Anne included this story in this series because of the characters are family.
Observation: Yes the ending was fantastic. I know that the story is like 10 years in the future from when Patsy's sister Nic's story, and that Patsy has years to go in her residency, but where is the "baby" in Patsy's and Kyle's "Baby for the Billionaire" book?

Always wonderful books from Melody Anne

Always amazed at the reach of Joseph Anderson. Melody makes sure he is everywhere. Her characters are so well defined, unmistakable. Kyle is a sexy playboy, misunderstood playboy, wasn't looking for love or certainly not a relationship...in walks Patsy. Sparks fly. Great story, a few twists and turns, what a ride.

Another great ready from Melody - I like my favorite author because you know you will have HEA. I'm happy I reread Nicole and Ryan because I think I would have forgotten about Patsy. Faith that is what it is, people change when Kyle decided to sell his practice and head back home. Kyle never thought he would meet anyone, he wanted a change, and he got it. Kyle didn't expect to find someone like Patsy, but he did. There was something about her that he couldn't keep away.
Patsy had one focus, which was to be the best plastic surgeon there was, she wanted to help people. What Patsy didn't know is what her feeling was for the new head of plastics surgery her new boss. Sparks fly between them - will Patsy take the plug, will she chance a one night with her boss.

I like how Melody keeps bring up Joseph Anderson; I love that he comes back now and then.

Kyle and Patsy

M a fan of Melody Anne, so I like all of her books. This one was no different. Not a lot of mystery to the story but a good feel good story.
Kyle Armistead was a renowned plastic surgeon in California. He loved his job and his business but felt like he was missing something. Couldn’t really decide what that something was so he sold his practice and moved home to Seattle. Kyle took a job as head chief of plastic surgery residents.
Patsy Landen just finished medical school and was starting her residency specializing in plastic surgery. Patsy is the sister of Nicole Titan and brother of Ryan Titan ( billionaire). From previous book. Anyway story goes through their life in the hospital and out. Kyle was persistent and did not give up, she what he was missing. ❤️

In a continuation of the characters from the third book in this series, Nicole's little sister, Patsy, is all grown up and starting her residency in Plastic Surgery. The day before her first day at the hospital her dog introduces her to a handsome stranger in the park. The next day she walks into the hospital orientation and guess who is already there as the supervising surgeon. That's right, cute guy from the park.

The author lures the reader into the story by having Patsy fight her growing infatuation to Kyle with all she's got, while Kyle does everything he can to win her over.

With cameo appearances by several characters from a couple of series by this author, this was a very enjoyable book.

Worth the wait...
And a good ending to a favorite series...
It felt right ending this series with Patsy grown up and having her dream job and now her dream man she didn't see coming...
Frisbees are a dangerous sport that can lead to true love, who knew??? lol
Eyore is adorable as the frisbee catching, man catching monster dog...lol

I loved the story it was short and sweet, tied things together and wrapped up the series after a 5yr wait.
While it can be read as a stand alone I'm a series lover and just can't stand not knowing all the players...lol

Overall opinion:
Much lighter read and entertaining. Melody is definitely a hero saves the broken damsel author which means that her writing will frustrate those who want the h to make good decisions and not constantly second guess everything. If you don't like overly macho alphas and broken, hate when you spend money on me damsels, you might want to read a different author. For the most part, I enjoy the world's Melody creates, even though I disliked two of the books in this series.

This was my favorite book of the series.

Brief Summary: No need to expand on the author's summary. The H is a world - renowned plastic surgeon who wants to leave private practice and go back to being a hospital surgeon to regain his fulfillment for what he does. The h is a new doctor who is just starting her residency. She is brilliant and a very competent surgeon who wants to help people who were disfigured regain their self confidence. Her only issue is that she has been burned by guys who see her scar as ugly instead of a battle would that shows she overcame a life and death situation. As a guy, I do know other guys who would say a chest scar is a deal-breaker which makes them complete idiots.

Kyle Armistead is a world-renowned plastic surgeon that has everything he could ever want. But one day he wakes up feeling like he is missing something. So he sells his successful practice in California and goes homes to Seattle.

While playing Frisbee in the park with his brothers, an overgrown dog that cannot control his momentum lands on his back. The dog's owner tries to control him and bounces off Kyle's back and lands on the ground. He falls for the dog as well as it's owner. Even though she won't give Kyle her name he soon meets her again and the chase is on.

Patsy Lander has a wonderful life with a great family, friends, and a new career that she is looking forward to. So when she learns that her arrogant teacher and the guy in the park are one-in-the-same, her carefully laid plans of not becoming involved with anyone she works with are thrown out the window. Even though she tries to put up a fight of resistance the chemistry is too strong to avoid.

I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobooks for this series.

Okay, medical professionals work exceedingly difficult shifts, are often sleep deprived, as well as having very little down time. So it's not difficult to imagine that workplace liaisons occur. Whether it's good for the working environment, it would be difficult to say.
Plus, women in surgical fields still fight the glass ceiling of gender in the workplace, that could cause a woman in that field to be tunnel visioned as far as her goals are concerned.
There also is a point where a person has reached the pinnacle of their career, and wants to step back and smell the roses.
Therefore, the whole of this story is plausible, although it feels very fairytalish. I found it added a smile to my day!

Absolutely Amazing

Melody Anne is one of my all time favourite authors her books are amazing and the storyline true to life's struggles. This story about Patsy is one I have been waiting patiently for as she suffered so much as a child and teen and to see her thrive and have such an amazing career brought me to tears. I have read every book that Melody has written and I have never been disappointed. I definitely recommend you read this book and others by Melody and I know that you will absolutely love them.

Was good, then...

3.5 Stars - The story of Kyle and Patsy was going well, but towards the end it felt as though the author was in a hurry to end their tale. It was good...then it wasn't, it was rushed and not fully executed. T
At about 60%, their love scenes were non-existent any longer to the reader and the plot for me, fell off. His family was not included towards the end at all. I liked that Kian and Roxy and also Joseph Anderson were in this! Also, there were some errors.

Rescue Me...

Baby for the Billionaire book 6. So freaking delightful. Patsy Landers is all grown up and gets her story and what an awesome read it was. Patsy meets her match in Kyle. I absolutely love how they first meet and her adorable dog. He's a doctor and she's a new one. Both of them are driven passionate and love medicine. Each has what the other needs. It was great seeing Joseph Anderson, Nicole (her sister) and the whole Titan clan. This book is funny, dramatic angsty.

Soulmate Doctors

I love it when the TDH Alpha character doesn't realize he's falling in love. Dr. Kyle "McDreamy" is used to women falling at his feet when he's physically jumped on by Dr. Patsy's dog. When Patsy runs into him too, he's struck by her beauty. She's very focused on her goal to be a doctor
and not interested in a relationship. When sparks ignite they try to deny their attraction. Melody knows how to write about love between sexy, delightful males and beautiful, strong, feisty females.

Pleasant read that finally gives us Patsy, all grown up and a doctor.
To have Patsy fall for another doctor who is one of the leaders in the same field was sweet.
But I have to say I didn’t feel the connection or heat that was supposed to be there.
I just felt Patsy dithered back and forth too much but I felt sorry for what she overheard.
Kyle fell for Patsy and was silly baiting Darcy, then not pinning Patsy down about her behaviour.
He would have learned why sooner but the party was a nice way to go.

I've read several of the books in the different Melody Anne stories and it's always fun to have some of the characters from other books show up. The story didn't have a lot of depth to it but it was enjoyable just the same I loved Patsy's dog but would have preferred they mentioned him a bit more with Patsy stopping by her apartment to feed, walk, and let him go out to go potty before she headed to Kyle's. But even with that, I still enjoyed the book.

Rescue Me

Patsy has wanted to be a doctor since she had her surgery when she was a teenager and now she is in her residency. Kyle has decided that private practice and the big city is longer what he is looking for so moving back to Seattle to a teaching hospital is where he feels he needs to be. When these two meet, fireworks follow but will they find their happily ever after?

Absolutely Perfect!!!

What a wonderful ending to this series. A couple of the books were a little hard mentally and emotionally. I struggled a little bit in finishing them. I cried quite a bit, and I laughed at times. At the same time I was in awe of the strength the women had in themselves. This series is definitely a must read. Especially when Joseph Anderson and Kian Forbes were involved.

Patsy is finally back on and ready to do her internship for plastic surgery, Kyle is a celebrated Plastic Surgeon and her boss their chemistry is off the wall but she doesn't want anything to do with the play boy Surgeon.

I would recommend this book and series for mature readers only (sexual situations) who enjoy reading stories that are at times laugh out loud funny, steamy, and romantic. Well done.

So good

I just loved Kyle and Patsy's story. So good to open this book. It's like coming back to family. It was nice to see Patsy find love, especially after everything she has been through and Kyle was perfect for her. He was swoon worthy. Such a good story. I can't wait to see what Melody Anne has in store for us.

Funny and Romantic

I love this series but this one has me in stitches from the very beginning. We all remember Patsy from Ryan's story well now she's all grown up and right out of med school on plastic surgery. However the story begins with her over hyped dog. Grab this book if you've red the series so far it's a cracker that will leave you laughing.

I loved Patsy even if I wanted to punch her for being sooooo indecisive! There’s being careful and then there’s being ridiculously careful. Patsy was making me dizzy with the back and forth! I did love her interactions with Kyle and her clumsiness but sometimes you just gotta go for it! Exceptional read. And thank you for adding some special time with my favorite meddler of all time😏.

This was an enjoyable read about a young doctor hurt by a previous boyfriend who meets some new accidentally. Her life becomes further complicated when this stranger becomes her boss. Patsy fights her attraction as hard as she can, but loses in the end. Life continues with misunderstandings, but things do work out in the end.

Very enjoyable.

I love this series. This is Patsy’s story ( she is Nicole’s sister). Laughed so hard at how she meets Kyle. They have such chemistry, and she really fights getting involved with him. Loved getting updates on prior characters including Joseph Anderson. The best part was the epilogue. I highly recommend reading each book in this series.

Fantastic

I LIVE these books. The Anderson Family and their extended family are amazing and I want to be a part of this family. The way Melody writes the spin off series, but still incorporates each series is impressive. Now I’m on a mission to read every one of her books! Thanks Melody! Fan forever

I had been waiting on Patsy’s book for a while and loved it. I adored her dog Eeyore and his antics which certainly kept me laughing. I am glad Kyle passed the test with her family although I was not amused at what he did with Darcy. He should have put her in her place straight away ran than the games he did. I am happy that Patsy took a chance on him and loved the way he did the proposal.
