Someone is very pissed at the Savage Kings, they don’t know who the threat is. They are at risk, their loved ones and their livelihood. Now more than ever they need to be united to fight.
Cooper is in bad shape and in a very shitty place right now. Can’t wait to find out what’s next.

Another 5-Star AH-MAZE-ING read from the Savage King series! Sax and Isobel were hot, sexy and full of chemistry that I couldn't get through their story fast enough. Isobel was living her best life to the fullest while her dad wanted to keep her tied down. Sax never felt he belonged with the MC until it all comes crashing down. The twists and turns in this book literally had me consuming pages, gasping with shock and left me speechless because.....WTH did I read!!!! A beautiful love story that will give you so many feels!

Wow! I couldn't get enough of Saxon & Isobel's story. Great characters. So intense & has you on the edge of your seat. This is a doozie. Loved it!!! I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via booksprout.

Wow! I’ve read a lot of Lane Hart books, but this one, this one totally stole my heart!
When Sax is blackmailed into straightening up a girl gone wild, he doesn’t have a clue what he’s signed himself up for. Meeting Isobel, getting to know her, opened up more of himself than he could have ever imagined. But he’s keeping secrets from her as well as his MC brothers and the potential of it all blowing up in his face is as real as the destruction someone is raining down on the club.
Isobel grew up as the good girl. She followed the rules, kept to her books, and was the perfect daughter. But when life suddenly upends its dirty secrets on her, she decides it’s time to cut loose. Traveling the world, singing across the country, and fulfilling a bucket list while sporting brightly colored hair is her new operandi. She has few rules, but the main one is to make no attachments. Now if she can keep reminding herself of that after meeting Sax.
I loved both this hero and heroine equally! I was afraid Isobel might be a little too wild for me, but she was perfect. Even as she lived her kick-butt life, she still maintained a degree of sweet. Her story is not for the faint of heart and I personally broke when it was all revealed to me. Sax was the perfect compliment to her wild and free. His battle with guilt wrecked me as it wrecked him. He was possessive and protective, sometimes jealous, but always the man Isobel needed. When things got down and dirty, he did what he had to do and was ready to face the consequences. Definitely a favorite hero of mine from this series.
The MC business and drama actually helped this couple to develop a fuller relationship. Some of the trouble that arose also allowed these characters to shine as individuals as well as a couple. There is a lot of heart between the pages of this book which included not only how Sax and Isobel felt, but from the brothers themselves as well. I’m telling you, this one has all the feels, the where-the-heck-are-the-tissues feels. So make sure you have them handy when you begin.
This is written in a style that begins and moves quickly and before you know it, you’ve reached the end. The steam factor here is scorching, believable, and blush inducing if you’ve got it set on “text to speech” on your phone and someone walks in. We also get a few clues of what might crop up in future books, and let me tell you, I think Cooper may end up wrecking me more than this one. To top all of the deliciousness of this story, we have an epilogue that will have you crying happy tears and cursing that there’s no more pages to read.

Sax by Lane Hart and D.B. West a five-star read that will play you like a piece of music. This is number nine in the Savage Kings MC series, but they can all be read as stand-alone as each brother tells his own unique story, but I have to admit I have read and loved them all in order. Saxon Cole is a man who has faced many challenges in his life, but none of them will be as difficult as the one he faces with Isobel, she is a storm in a short leather dress. Just a shame that by facing a challenge with her he may have to face one with his brothers and who do you choose, you family or your future? D.B. West and Lane Hart really do write as one, they have a way with words that just simply surprises you every time. I have read a few stories by these two and they always surprise me how they just get better and better each time.

The Savage Kings have a huge threat against them. However they have no idea who it is. Each and every one of th em and their families are at risk. If ever there has been a time when they need to be one unit now is the time. Thianianthe story of the MC officer Sax and Isonel who is a nurse and a singer. Sax is j in a mess and the target if the NC governor who demands a favor in return for his freedom. This is also Isobels father and he neds her to be on board to help him get reelected and she refuses. They are estranged and it is Saxs job to change that Can he make it happen or will they both lose their hearts in the process.

This book is full of twists and turns. There are lots of steamy scenes. Isobel is daughter of the governor, who is out to get the Savage Kings. She has decided not to let her father run her life anymore. Sax, even though Sax is an officer in the MC, he never felt like he truly belonged or completely fit in with the Savage Kings. He has to make a choice between love and family. This book was a great addition to the Savage King MC series!

Saxon Cole is a member of the Savage Kings MC. He's hiding his past from the members of his MC. He's blackmailed by the Governor who wants him to rein in his wild daughter. Isobel Washington is living her best life on her own terms. She's a breath of fresh air and Sax falls for her fast and hard. I enjoyed this book and now I want to go back and read about the rest of the guys.

Absolutely fantastic! A well written emotionally deep romance. The storyline is flawless, funny, witty, enjoyable, and very interesting. The story flows smoothly and moves along at a brisk pace with a few ups and downs and a mix of emotions on every page. The chemistry between them is intense and their love scenes are beautifully written and HOT!

This series is a must read! I'm reading this series out of order and it doesn't affect the storyline and characters. Great storytelling!!

I’m sorry, but when our “hero” starts off the book getting blackmailed because he was part of murdering 20 people a few weeks ago.... that’s going to be a hard pass for me, no matter how good the writing is (and it is very good). I know this is part of a series and I assume some of that got explained in a previous book, but there was zero remorse from Sax and absolutely no context given as to why that happened. I made a commitment to review an ARC so I kept reading, hoping that would get explained, but it did not.
I was equal parts drawn in and repelled by this book. The characters are complex and definitely have likeable qualities, but ultimately the bad outweighed the good and I couldn’t make it more than halfway through. And yes, I did skim to the end to see how the heroine reacts to the murder reveal - in addition to the fact that he’s been lying to her the whole time (it didn’t change my mind). If you’re a fan of the series and understand the circumstances... maybe this book will work for you.

WHAT A HEART BREAKER BUT ITS A BRILLIANT READ SIMPLY AMAZING LOVED IT
WOW what a powerful story.
You think it’s going to be another story of bribery, blackmail and war but this story is so much more.
It's about seeing the person in front of you for what they are and not as a way out of a prison sentence.
When Sax is arrested by the DEA he is shocked to know it was only so the governor of North Carolina Lawrence Washington could tell him that he has proof of a mass murder that the MC had committed. And he has loads of evidence. He can take down nearly all of the Savage Kings and he knows he will do anything for his brothers.
But when Lawrence explains he wants Sax to find his daughter and get her to calm down. To get her to come home and go back to nursing. He made it sound like he was pimping out his own daughter Sax was disguised, but knew he had no other options.
Sax goes to a bar knowing that Isobel is there. But he is blown away when he spots her on the stage singing her heart out. She looks so free, Her hair is blue so he was thrown at first. She doesn't look like a governors daughter but maybe that's why. Is she trying to just get lost?
When he rescues her when a man puts his hands on her Sax is quick to tell her she owes him a drink so they go back in the bar for a beer. They hit it off straight away and end up on Sax's boat.
Isobel has so much going on. She is happily singing at the bar when she notices the sexy blonde who cant seem to take his eyes off her. Oh maybe he can be my next distraction. When she steps outside one of her fathers goons is there. Telling her she has to go home tomorrow as its her fathers birthday and he is having a do and Lawrence wants her there. Isobel hates her father. He is a lair and Isobel will never trust him again. She will never settle down and help him on his campaign, he makes her feel sick to her stomach. So when the sexy man helps her to get rid of the goon she is happy to buy him a drink and get to know him. But it will only be for one night. Isobel has rules and she always follows them. She is busy completing her bucket list and no one will try and stop her again.
Sax wasn't expecting how much he liked Isobel, she is like no one he has ever meet before. Sax lost his girlfriend when he was in college and he promised himself to never fall for another woman. So he was a one night kinds guy but he was getting lonely. But he is surprised when he doesn't want Isobel to be a one night wonder and it confuses him.
There are so many twists and turns in this book that it will keep you gripped to the storyline but this is like no other book ive read. I went through all my emotions. Its a beautiful, painful heart breaking love story that you just wont see coming. It broke my heart. But what a story.
I have got to say this is my favourite book from Lane Hart and D.B. West. 10 out of 10

Oh gosh. I was NOT expecting what I got from this book which was me sobbing like a baby. I can't get into why because that would be spoilers, but man, this book got me in the feels. This series has been so all over the place with tone, characters, and plot, that this one just snuck up on me there. You have some books that are hardcore MC romance books and then others that feel more like a contemporary, cry your eyes out romance. *sobs* I just...can't right now. *ugly crying*

Then, when a disaster happens, she finds her talents in need...and another excuse to stay. But will she be able to forgive Sax if he tells her that he was working with her father? Even after feelings have developed?
The blurb makes Isobel out to be some drug-addled, out-of-control brat. That's a big NOPE. She's really likable and has very specific reasons why she is doing what she is doing. Sax is a big ole sweetheart. I enjoyed his character, and the two of them together was just the best. The ongoing Russian thing keeps...going, but the main plot is wrapped up very well. So, I'm not going to ding this book like I have previous books for not being essentially complete books. Anyhow, this is definitely a must-read and a hard-earned five stars.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the ninth book in the Savage Kings MC series. In this book, Sax finds himself arrested and thrown in jail overnight without a phone call or anything to eat or drink. Sax has been alone in the cell without knowing the charges against him when the governor comes in and tells his guards he wants to be alone with Sax. Sax is instantly on guard and the governor tells him he had evidence against the whole MC and the murders of the Russians. The governor plays a video for Sax and Sax knows they are in deep trouble. He asks Sax if he wants to make a deal for the freedom of the MC. He wants Sax to find his daughter and make her come home and return to nursing and support his reelection bid. Isobel has been acting up according to her father and traveling around hanging around in bars and being reckless. Sax knows he has no choice in the matter because the governor also has evidence against Sax he will tell the MC that could mean death to Sax. Sax sets out to find Isobel and when he does, he is unprepared for his reaction to her. Sax thinks she is beautiful and he wants to be with her, but he only has one night stands. Isobel and Sax have a drink together after he hears her singing in a bar and he asks her to go for a drive. Isobel is a free spirit and has been crossing items off her bucket list and when she meets Sax, she is attracted to him, but she tells him they can only be together for one night. Sax knows he has to find a way to convince her to go back to her father, but the more he gets to know her, the more he wants her to stay with him. When Sax takes Isobel to get a tattoo, there is an explosion at Avalon, their strip club, followed by one at the tattoo parlour. When Sax learns Cooper was hurt, he brings Isobel to help. I loved this book! Sax was a great guy, he really regretted his past mistakes and i think he wanted to make up for them. I think he needed someone to love and tell him he really had nothing to be sorry for. Isobel and Sax had an instant connection and i think they both knew things were going to be intense between them. Isobel was hurt and she needed to find peace with her life. I think she wanted to be with Sax, but she was scared of her future. I loved how open they were with each other and how they both seemed to have an instant trust in one another. This was another great story from a great series! Awesome!

**Sniff** I know I am not the only one who cries for HAPPY. *sniff, sniff** Just like I know I am not the only one who LOVES the MC novels written by the fantastic writing team of Lane Hart and D.B. West! Their prose is descriptive and so easy to read, readers can focus fully on the story. And what a GREAT story it is! SAX is their newest, and possibly my most favorite of their MC novels. (I guess that adding my favorite of their novels seems to change with every new story the writing team of Lane Hart and D.B. West publish would be fair!) It has all the feels, grit, and suspense typical of an MC romance, but SAX has so much more! When Hart and West write, they have these amazingly intricate plotlines that weave together to tell a story which is so much bigger than “girl meets motorcycle-riding bad boy and their love changes him.” What Hart and West give their readers is a timely, contemporary look into one of the issues of the day. A conflict so compelling and complex, that the turmoil of MC life nearly fades into a background thread. Add to this, their ability to create the most phenomenally realistic characters which, though flawed and oh so human, provide the most memorable fulfillment of this MC love story. True to form, Sax and Isobel may capture your heart as quickly as they did mine, and also have you turning pages as quickly as possible – well past the midnight hour! Everyone has secrets but will they come out and destroy their love
I really liked this story of Sax and Izzy. They are a very interesting and intense couple because they initially appear very different but then deeper down they are very similar. Izzy has a lot of spirit and also strength to leave her place in society and her controlling father and follow her dreams traveling the world to exploring and experience. Sax is more controlled so he can fit in with his MC brothers, even though he does not feel like he does.
Sax has been tasked with curbing Izzy and bringing her back home to her family by her corrupt father. Once Sax and Izzy spend one night he wants more even though her policy is "one and done", well maybe twice if they are lucky. So Izzy does not know that Sax is on a mission whose outcome will effect the MC. What Sax and the rest of the MC don't realize is that Izzy has some secrets of her own that could be explosive. Now Sax has to try and tame Izzy and not let her find out about his mission by her father.
The authors did a really good job writing this story as it has a well developed story-line with interesting secondary stories happening at the same time. Additionally the characters, both main and secondary, are written with a lot of heart and integrity. This is not a dark and twisted MC series but it does play a role that spans all of the books it the series, along with other characters from previous books.

Wow! What a ride of emotions we are taken on with Sax and Isobel’s story. Two people so different, but so much alike. Isobel broke out of her shell of proper society and is living her bucket list, wandering around the world dipping her toe into uncharted destinations. When Isobel meets Sax, she doesn’t realize that he is on a mission sent by her father to put her back on the straight and narrow anyway he can, but what he wasn’t prepared for was her tenacity, beauty and the determination to not stay in one place too long and not be with a man more than one night two tops even though she is enamored with Sax.. Sax has had a taste and isn’t ready to let her go just yet and he needs her to comply or he and his MC brothers are in a load of trouble. Isobel has a secret of her own that she hasn’t told Sax about yet, and the fact that he’s working with her father to bring her home, most likely is not going to sit well with her at all. Will Sax be able to tame this little spitfire or will he throw caution to the wind and let the MC fall as it may? How do you choose your family over something that could be your forever? I guess you will need to read to find out what happens. I loved this book, another great addition to the series and I can’t wait for more. I reviewed a copy of this book through BookSprout.

I certainly will be the one to say that I bow to their greatness. I am actually going to tell you straight out that I read MC romance A LOT an even though this is Fictional... I got teary eyed. No kidding, you know it's bad when your Daughter asks if your okay? And you're just reading this impressive release. What do you say? So I told her the truth; Mommy's just reading a book and somehow these talented Authors draw attention to what really matters in the world with their words. Did I tell her that I read the entire Series thus far & this book just got to me ABSOLUTELY. From the moment you start reading, Saxon Cole, aka Sax, is going to reel you right in. As you follow the path Isobel and Sax take together, you seriously are compelled to keep going, who needs sleep, right? I don't want to give away any part of the plot so that I do not ruin it for reader's but OH WOW you must read this installment to The Savage Kings.

Sax is taken into prison and left without knowing what he is being detained for. When the Governor shows up with a deal there isn't much choice for him.
He has to date his daughter Isobel in exchange for him to not have the MC thrown in prison for the murders of the Russian mob.
The moment he lays his eyes on her he is a goner but convincing her to give him more than one night will be a challenge.
When he finally gets her consent they are at the clubs tattoo parlor when it and the strip club blow up.
Isobel sticks around to help Cooper recover. She starts to have feelings for Sax but there is a reason she has been on the run from her life. When they get a round to sharing their secrets it brings them closer.
I did like that Isobel lived her life with no apologies. As for Sax I liked him at first but as you get to know him I was a bit disappointed. He was involved in quite a bit of what was going on at the club and yet he never felt a part of them. We find out he started out as an informer for the DEA but realized they weren't responsible for his ex girlfriends death.
For him to leave the MC and go nomad just so he could follow Isobel around just stunk IMO. Considering she went back to her original job and wasn't galavanting all over the world I didn't understand his need to leave.

Pursuing Isobel under false pretenses to keep his MC Brothers out of prison, Sax soon discovers he’s in over his head – suddenly he’s keeping secrets from everyone. How will Izzie react when she discovers his deception? What’s up with her anyway? Why is she suddenly embracing the wild side of life? This story while set in the Savage Kings MC world, has little of the mischief and mayhem we’ve often experienced in previous books. It’s well written with plenty of drama, secrets, some violence and flirty banter along with numerous extremely steamy encounters. I enjoyed Izzie’s strength of character. She doesn’t take any crap from anyone and faces what life throws at her head on. It was good to finally get Sax’s backstory – he’s been a bit of an enigma, and to understand the motivation for his actions within the club and with Izzie. Their flirty, sexy interactions play out against the sudden violence that threatens the Kings’ livelihood. Has the recent past come back to bite the MC or are they dealing with a new adversary? I look forward to Cooper’s story as the mystery unravels.

We're coming to the end in the Savage Kings MC series. Sax has always been the quiet one. Spends most of his time out on his boat, he has been quite the enigma. Now he has been hauled into jail and given an ultimatum by the governor. Find his daughter, seduce his daughter and bring her to heel or the governor will come down hard on the Kings for deeds that they have done and none of them will see the light of day for a long time. Sax will do anything to protect his brothers but the young lady that he is after is a complex, deep character and he is in for a heck of a ride! Isobel seemed to have it all from the outside. Young, beautiful, talented, wealthy. What could she possibly find wrong with this life that she has been born into? If you want to know you're going to need to read Sax. Their story will squeeze your heart and twist all of your emotions. This story stands alone however I recommend reading the previous books so that each supporting character is understood fully. It's told from dual POV and it's spicy sweet but you're going to need a box of tissues handy.

Yes Sax is BLACKMAILED into this situation but he SEEMED fine with it once he realized that the SITUATION was the Governors daughter; aside from the fact that he was Blackmailed because he was part of horrendous crime or the fact that he has been LYING this whole time to EVERYONE that supposedly he CARES about, well as you can see this book has ALOT going on that well will keep you intrigued and on the edge of your seat. These authors know how to write suspense with a hint of romance and well the writing speaks for itself. This is part of a series but you can read it as a standalone but I recommend that you DON"T just for the shear fact that you do get answers you might want or need to have within the other books in this series.as far as this book it doesn't go into too much detail on the why's but will keep you enthralled. You get to know Isobel and all her faults while also learning more about SAX and what makes him tick (Isobel).

Sax holds a few unique positions in the Savage Kings. If you have read other books in this series you know he was once an undercover DEA agent when he came into the group. He did not find what he was tasked with and was left to his own devices to survive. Sax eventually became a key player legitimately devoted to the organization.
If you are just discovering his story, Sax tells you about his beginnings with the Savage Kings MC, and shares with all of us how he got involved with Isobel. Her mother died miserably of a debilitating disease. When it is discovered Isobel shares the same genetic markers, she is determined to go hog wild, and party until she literally drops.
