Really enjoyed this book!
It’s fast paced and the different narratives and characters make it totally engaging.
The story is about a bioweapon that infects all people with blood type A. They die, they reanimate, they want to eat other humans - cue, zombies!
What I liked about the story is that it shows the government being proactive about the attack and not sitting on their hands hoping that bullets will solve it the ‘normal’ way.
There is still a government - even if there is anarchy in some places.
The captains and soldiers having to fight their way to get engineers and doctors and to put ‘important’ people in safe havens is very dynamic - specially due to the loses they face.
I’d recommend the audiobook as well - the narrator is amazing!

What started off quite campy with the dead texas books turned out to be pretty darn good.

It's nice to follow the happenings trough multiple eyes. I liked that it was all sort of interconnected and that there was a good mix of capable males and females.

There's some stereotypes but nothing to over the top terrible (imo then, definitely correct me if I'm wrong)

I like this series a lot, mainly because the short parts with different characters make for a nice quick read without the whole drama lama that usually accompanies following one character throughout a series.

It also has a good amount of humor thrown in without it being overpowering.

Gripping and well done

A series of short novels length stories filling in the perspective of the government, military and regular people attending to survive in a zombie apocalypse. Characters have depth and breadth, that make you care and pull for them. Excellent series I really recommend

Different points of view

I like the different points of view- from different locations and people. Not everyone’s outcome will be sunshine and roses and there will be a lot going on in the background people aren’t aware of. Reminescent of the book world war Z
