Life seemed to be moving in the right direction at last. Then the fires started.

As a wolf shifter with vampire gifted powers, Titus was better equipped to handle emergencies than others. But he wasn’t invincible.

Never had she met someone like him.

With the paranormal community under threat, their homes and businesses going up in flames, Imogen wasn’t worried. Too bad her abilities didn’t equal safety.

The magnetism between Titus and Imogen was potent from the start. Both tried to fight it. But fate had a different plan for them—a perilous one.

The world was burning around them. Everyone Titus and Imogen loved was at risk. When the ashes cooled and the dust settled, they would find out if their love survived fate’s test.

The wolf shifter and the mage!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙❤️💚
Steam: 🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌎
Character development: ☺️🙃😳🥰🤓
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The Hero: Titus - he is a wolf shifter and recently found out he is brother to Kandra from the last book in the series. When Kandra needed him, he was gifted powers from a vampire to help in finding and freeing her. He belongs to the Avynwood pack and lives at the mansion. He is also a fireman. He loves what he does and doesn’t want to give it up but he has been with his station for 10 years now and pretty soon they will notice that he doesn’t age.

The heroine: Imogen - she is 18 years old and a powerful mage. She pretends to be a human and is still in high school. She wishes she could tell her friends what she can do, but paranormals must stay in the shadows. Mage’s are paranormal, they live longer lives than shifters, they can’t heal themselves like shifters, they use potions for that but since her mom’s vampire friend gifted them the power to heal, they can now do that.

The Story: Imogen gets hit on over and over by one of the most popular guys in school, but she wants none of that. She knows he isn’t her mate and doesn’t want anything to do with humans as her life when she finishes high school will be in the paranormal world.

Titus has to go to the high school to pick up his friend who is working as a substitute teacher. On the way there, he thinks about three recent fires in buildings owned by paranormals, which were arson. He thinks someone may be targeting paranormals. When he gets to the school, he meets his friend Carter in the parking lot and takes a look at Carter’s broken-down vehicle. That is where he meets Imogen for the first time. She knocks the air right out of his lungs.

I would have liked this story more if there wasn’t so much stress about Imogen’s age. She is almost nineteen but still in high school because she had to take some time off due to the pack wars. Also, I didn’t like the fact that they purposely wouldn’t touch each other for so long because as a wolf shifter, Titus would know from a skin-to-skin touch if they were fated mates or not.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Sarah Colton and Troy Duran. I really like both of these narrators; Sarah Colton has clear and feminine voice. Troy Duran is one of my favorite male narrators, his voice is deep and sexy, and I love just about anything he narrates. Both are terrific at showing emotions through their voices.

Tempting Titus by Michelle Dare is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah L. Colton and Troy Duran. This is the 6th book in the Paranormals of Avynwood Series.

I absolutely love Michelle’s books! They always leave me with a smile. I loved Titus and Imogen’s love story. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone. However, they do reference characters from other books so I would recommend reading in order. I cannot wait for the next book in the series Denying Davian to be released on audible so I can dive into Davian and Robin’s love story.

Sarah and Troy did an amazing job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life.

I would highly recommend this series if you love Paranormal Romances.

Tempting Titus is book 6 in Paranormals of Avywood serie. Even if it can act as a standalone I recommend reading the other books in this serie and the Arianne trilogy because their is a lot of mentions of events that as happen in the other books.

Titus is a firefighter and a wolfshifter. He can tell that something not right with the last fire he has to fight. Paranormal are being targetted and they doesn't smell like normal fire.

Imogen is a mage and still in high school. Graduation is coming soon. When she meet Titus after school because this one is coming to help one of his pack member, her world will change. She never met someone like him.

But are attract to each other. Knowing if they are mate is simple. All they need to do is the touch but Imogen not ready for that. And for Titus even tough he can stop thinking about her, he think she's to young for him. But fate have a different plan for them. And its gonna be dangerous with the fire that keep multiplying...

I really have love this book and looking foward for the next one in this serie.

Titus enjoys his job as a firefighter but he is finding it more and more difficult to hide the fact that he is a wolf shifter from his teammates. When Carter asks him to come to the school where he is teaching due to some car trouble, he meets Imogen and their destiny is sealed.

Imogen finds high school a chore as being a mage she has already learnt most of what is being taught and she finds the boys immature however she does have one best friend who makes it bearable. She knows Carter through the relationship her mother has with the pack but when she meets Titus she isn’t prepared for her reaction to him.

They are both fighting the fact that they are fated mates for different reasons but once they touch each other there is no going back. The only thing that is marring their happiness is that someone is seeking revenge against the pack member and they need to find out who it is before any more lives are lost.

Not only are Titus and Imogen great characters but it is always fun to catch up with the other characters we know and love. The narrators did a great job of bringing the characters and story to life. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

Audiobook Review

Tempting Titus is book 6 in the Paranormals of Avynwood Series. I freaking love these crazy Paranormals and Titus and Imogene are no different! This series is still one of my favorite PNR series to date.

Titus is a wolf shifter with vampire powers. He is also a firefighter 🔥. Imogene is a mage and in her last year of high school. These two have a chance meeting and fight their inevitable connection. There are bets on how long they will hold out 😂.

While these two are fighting their connection, someone is targeting paranormals in the area. Titus is determined to get to the bottom of it before someone gets killed. That means protecting Imogene at all costs. But, she’s not some meek little girl who will sit quietly in the corner. She has a mind and powers of her own and she’s not afraid to use them.

I love these two together! I love this series and can’t wait for more! I could listen to Sarah and Troy narrate all day long! They bring these paranormals to life!

The story of Titus and Imogen is very emotional. This story is very intense with the fires and accidents happening to paranormals around them. Titus as a fireman is caught up and tries to find out who is behind the arson only to realize it must be another paranormal. The only minor issue is the age difference between Titus and Imogen which seems fine until you realize Titus is a father figure to Whit who is around her age. I guess with paranormals it isn't an issue and she is almost 19 but overall I did really enjoy the story!

About: Titus is a wolf shifter with some vampire gifts. He decides to use his advantages by assisting the local firefighters. Only a few people know what he really is. He's content with his life until he runs into Imogen. Imogen is finishing out her high school year against her wishes. She feels that school is entirely unnecessary since she already knows what she will be doing with her life. As if meeting each other isn't bad enough, they find that there is a set of attacks against the paranormal community.
Plot: I really enjoyed this book. I didn't have any doubt that I would. I've loved this entire series. All of the characters have their own unique twists and personalities. Each book can technically be read as a standalone, but it makes more sense if they are read in order.
Characters: All of the characters in this book and the rest of the series are something else! They are witty and sarcastic. They give each other a hard time at all times. It's very obvious that the entire group cares about each other. They all have a bond in their own way. I wish I had seen a bit more of Solomon in this book. He's my favorite.
Narration: This book was narrated by Troy Duran and Sarah L. Colton. They both narrated the entire series so far. They have done a terrific job. I have really enjoyed listening to them. I hope they narrate the rest of the series as well.

Recommend: Yes!

Currently putting up past reviews from my Blog on GR because I forgot at the time oops 😅

I'm pretty sure I went into this book with the wrong expectations because what I actually got compared to what I thought I was getting just rubbed me the wrong way. For example: The age gap. I usually don't mind an age gap of a decade or so, unless one of the parties is barely legal (or has been raised by the hero since they were a kid. That's a different rant for a different book). I fully understand that this is a paranormal story. Therefore the age gap should be fine. BUT the heroine is 18 going on 19 and SO damn innocent and childlike.

Something else that rubbed me the wrong way was how against finding her mate the heroine was. It became this whole thing where her mom had to almost physically drag her or trick her into being in the same room as the hero. After it finally happened, she was in love and happy and blah blah. I think it was more the way it was written that turned me off of this aspect of the story. It was almost like the heroine was throwing a tantrum for the sake of it.

The hero was an okay guy. I didn't love him but I didn't dislike him either. I appreciated his small effort at the beginning of trying not to let anything happen because she was so young compared to him. It's pointed out multiple times in the story that shifter society doesn't really care about the age gaps because it's destiny and mates are their perfect paring and age gaps are only a human construct.

I just wasn't as invested as I should have been in the world the author created to fully enjoy this novel. Some aspects of the world rubbed me the wrong way and I didn't really like any of the characters to make it worth my while. I'd also like to point out that this was also far from adult PNR. At best this is YA PNR targeted at the younger side of that demographic. Had I known that I would not have picked up this novel in the first place.

*PNR: Paranormal Romance
*YA: Young Adult Genre

The Audio Book:

The narration was fine. There were no strange noises in the background and the characters were distinguishable from each other in both narrations. Though I wish this has been dual narrated.

Tempting Titus is one HOT read, on many levels. Not only is Titus a sexy as sin firefighting wolf shifter, with vampire gifted powers, the community he serves is fighting a rash of unexpected fires. Add in the red-hot chemistry of Titus and Imogen and you have a read you will find hard to put down. This newest book in the Paranormals of Avynwood series may be my favorite one yet. Titus is more than a handsome fireman, he's a romantic at heart, with a fierce protective streak for everyone around him. He may be the most swoon worthy of Ms. Dare's heroes, how could any woman (mage or human) fight the attraction? His protectiveness goes beyond his pack to the greater good of the community and because of his powers, he takes more risks than he should.
When his pack brother, Carter, has car trouble while substitute teaching, Titus is called to the rescue. Once he's there he meets Imogen, a young mage forced to go to school when she'd rather be practicing and learning more magic, and all bets are off. Titus fights the connection because he feels she is too young for him, while she fights it too because she's not really looking for her fated mate. I loved how Carter interjected himself into the role of Fate in this story. Titus has appeared now and then in past books. I'm glad Titus was everything I hoped he'd be and more. Imogen is his equal in every way and stands up for herself, often going toe to toe with Titus. All hell breaks loose when the serial fires seem to be targeting those in the paranormal world.
In Ms. Dare's usual fashion, the story has a lot of layers and breadcrumbs to lead to the next book. The couple finds together they are stronger than they expected and though painful, the truth will be revealed, as they fight to find the arsonist. When the perpetrator is revealed, it is a huge surprise and knocks the wind out of several paranormals' sails.
I love this series and Ms. Dare never fails to entertain the reader with original, action-packed stories with strong heroes and heroines. She keeps her readers up-to-date on past characters in the pack, often making them integral parts of the story in some way. I cannot wait to see where the next book leads.

ONE TUMULTUOUS WILD RIDE!!!
Off the chain! Michelle unleashes one heart pounding, action packed, hard hitting, pulse racing, block busting bombshell, melding this gem together sleek shiny and tight. Traversing the trials and tribulations, noting the thrilling twists and wicked turns, testing our characters in ways they could have never envisioned. Toss in drama, intrigue, underlying currents, danger, mounting suspense and precarious situations along with a boatload of chaos while dodging dastardly deeds, you have one exciting adventure. A raging vortex of fervent events and stunning circumstances, catapults those churning emotions into play front and center. Anarchy, escapades and havoc run amuck, kicking this bad boy into a raging tempest, blasting it into a tailspin with a life-altering finale. The dynamics and countenance in layer upon layer that you peel back with each page your drawn into this web so deep until everything else ceases to exist. The realism and authenticity of the characters as their on point personalities blend and connect along with the graphically detailed scenes, paint an epic backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Fantastic job Michelle, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the next in the Paranormals of Avynwood series, another fun read.
This is Titus's love story. Titus finally has family again after some many years (not counting the pack), but the pack doesn't think that's enough, they think he needs a mate and they think they've found her.
Imogene is an 18 (almost 19) year-old, high school senior mage. She is so tired of high school, what she is learning there will be of no use in her career as a mage. But her mother thought she needed the socialization. When she "accidently" meets Titus, she admits that he's hot, she isn't ready for a serious relationship and she knows that Titus is much older than her, he thinks that the difference isn't fair to her.
They keep getting thrown together, with help from outsiders, including her mother, but, they're avoiding skin-to-skin touching, which would tell them whether they are fated mates.
Meanwhile, someone is out there targeting paranormals, and Titus as a fireman is often on the scene. And when Titus and Imogene are on a "date" and a fire starts, their fear for each other is a catalyst to their relationship.
But, the attacks against paranormals are escalating, who is behind the attacks and why?
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

This is a very addictive series that will entice new readers to go back and buy the rest of the books because this new obsession is so darned good! The story starts out with suspicious fires being set in the paranormal community, destroying their homes and businesses. A firefighter wolf shifter with vampire gifted powers, Titus can smell that these are not accidental fires but are being deliberately set. But who was starting these dangerous fires?

When Titus stopped in to help out a pack brother, he met a high school student, Imogen, a young but powerful mage. The two of them were immediately drawn to each other, despite her apparent youth! But regardless of their attempts to fight it, Fate will have its way when two mates meet each other. Will the danger in the community touch their lives as well? Will the pack be saved?

I enjoyed this book from start to finish. The characters are well developed and personable with the chemistry between Titus and Imogen easily recognized. The story line flowed well from the beginning to the end. Grab your copy and see if you can figure out who the fire-starter is!

So thankful Michelle Dare has taken us on another trip to check in with the Avynwood Pack. Humans are not alone for hiding among us are mages, shifters, vampires and the fae. Most paranormals keep to their own kind with only limited interaction with even others but not the Avynwood pack. This motley crew consists of a core pack of wolves with their allies/friends of other shifter species, fae, mages and vampires. The Pack is stronger because of their love and shared bonds with so many different talents. This book focuses on Titus a wolf shifter who works as a Fireman trying to save as many lives as he can because he was shaped by so many pains in his past. Imogen is a young mage trying to find her place in the world and her life will not be the same once they meet up. I can't wait for the next book to see what mischief our friends will get into next. These characters will grab your heartstrings and never let go.

Titus is fighting fires that keep happening to shifters, he can smell the accelerate. His gut is telling him that someone is setting these fires. He is working to figure it out. He loves the job his does, even thought it can way heavily on him
Imogen is in high school, she doesn't want to be because a high school diploma will not help with her what she plans on doing. She feels this is a complete waste of time. She does it because her mother feels like it is the best for her.
Titus is called by Carter to help him out, while there his world stops. He is drawn to her and doesn't know what to do about it. Imogen is to young in his mind. Imogen is drawn to him as well
Fate and others keep throwing them together. Things will get serious with the fires and with them. Will they stop fighting what they fell when danger is so close or will they take a leap of faith.

This was a great book to get lost in for awhile. You will enjoy the ride.

Another amazing addition to this addictive series!!

Titus is a wolf shifter as well as a firefighter. There's been a good amount of fires lately and there's been a strong accelerant smell and there's a strange coincidence as to which houses have been having fires.

Imogen is an 18 year old high school senior who happens to be a mage. She's not happy about going to school because it's serves no purpose for her future, but her mother insists that she goes, so she does. She has a bestie named Niki and a guy named Tate, who won't leave her alone. She's become his conquest because she keeps turning down his advances. Typical high school stuff. One day when she goes to class her teacher is Carter from Avynwood....great, just what she needs and that's where this story takes off and sparks fly!

This story had a good amount of jaw dropping moments for me, which made me totally engulfed in this story, reading as quickly as possible. I loved Im and Titus, but it was also great to revisit with the pack from Avynwood!

I have been intrigued with Titus since he was first introduced in The Ariane Trilogy and throughout the Avynwood Paranormals. The little tidbits that Dare would toss us about him had me wanting to know more about him. But what I LOVE is how she paired Titus with Imogen. That girl is my spirit animal. She is sassy and has a spark about her that you just fall in love with. Okay, she may be my total girl crush. I thought Ariane had fire. Imogen gives it a whole new meaning. While this story plays out, I adored their connection. Then with the mystery behind the fires, their connection deepens. I was blown away at the concept of this one because it was totally unexpected.
Overall, this was an amazing addition to the Paranormals of Avynwood. I couldn’t put it down. The flow. The build. Pretty much everything. Dare is one of the most amazing writers out there and I will devour anything she gives us. Titus is just another BBF that I have to keep for myself.. Well pretty much all the men she writes!

The Temptation is real go for it!!!!!

In this story Michelle has once again given the readers a fast pace hot unusual adventure. With Titus our hot alpha protective male and Imogen his newly found fated mate. Titus is a wolf shifter who thought he would never find his true mate. Living his life on his terms. As a firefighter and a protector for the Avynwood pack. Here comes Imogen who is young mage she is very powerful. She is also very mature for her age. There is an instant spark the attraction is there. Just have to read and see what happens after they touch. So let the fun begin with their newly formed bond within the pack of mated shifters. They are learning about themselves and what they want in their relationship. They will not feel safe until the danger to the whole pack is finally stopped. You will have to read how Michelle sends in the whole pack to help each other. That is what family dose. In this pack everyone/everything is accepted for who they are.

An age gap romance that revealed so many secrets. A heartbreak causes a big betrayal. I thoroughly enjoyed this new spin on a story for the pack. There is a transition in who the story focuses on. While I absolutely love the original characters and every appearance they make, it was nice getting a fresh perspective.
This book follows Titus and Imogen. They are in two different points in their life... Titus is a firefighter, and Imogen is a high school senior. They are both drawn to each other after first sight at the high school parking lot. I feel like their story was a little drawn out due to their refusal to touch each other so long, so that was kind of a turn-off.
The most interesting things about this story were the traitor, the search for them, and the reasons for doing so..... it was sad in both senses.
This book just seems like a connecting book to other members in the pack that were mentioned often enough but never really explored. I hope the rest of the stories in this second half have more substance.

So tempting

Titus,
I guess for the sake of our future I will forgive you. It isn't your fault Fate (aka Michelle Dare) refused to allow us to be together. I only wish you the best. One day soon I too will be mated in the Avynwood Pack and we can laugh about it. Until then I will hope for all good things for you while I brood in the corner.

Whoops, this is the letter to Michelle, not Titus!

Tempting Titus is about the caring, loving, kind hearted hottie fireman. What's not to love!?!?! It's part of the Paranormals of Avynwood so of course you will be entertained. It comes with a guarantee of visits from many favorites but its also a new adventure. Everytime I visit Avynwood I fall deeper in love with the Pack, the family, and the life.

If you're the type to want to live in books, I would highly recommend Avynwood for all the fun, drama, and love you could ever ask for. For Fate's sake (read Michelle Dare's sake), I hope my mate has patience. Lol!

Once again we are drawn back into Ms. Dares Avynood world as we watch another amazing character find his mate. Titus is such a diverse character, he is the strong silent type, loyal, has a big heart, protects his family and friends but also dangerous and deadly. Imogen is young, fresh, filled with strength and promise, just what Titus needs in carefully constructed world. A chance meeting has sparks flying and leaves the reader with a smile on their face. You have to love how Carter, Sol, Ari and the rest of the gang helpfully interfere with the mating.( Cuz that is what they do :)) While there is a mystery to solve that keeps you guessing, Ms. Dare always has the element of fun in the storyline to keep balance. This is a great series, the characters are great, the storyline is fun and entertaining. The only bad thing that happens is when you get to the last page and it ends. :) I look forward to the next story.

Audio Review:
Tempting Titus (Paranormals of Avynwood, Book 6) brings another engaging story to this series. I absolutely loved Titus and Imogen. They are perfect for as they complement echother The writing style is organic, vivid and highly addictive. The narrative is captivating and creatively entertaining. Absolutely loved their love story. Looking forward to more.

Narrators Troy Duran, Sarah L. Colton create a fantasy realm that you want to escape too all day long everyday. A flawless performance that brings the character's and narrative to a life like reality. Troy Duran's baritone inflection is smooth and intoxicating. Sarah L Colton's sweet inflection fits the characters perfectly. Smooth sailing all the way through. These two are the best narators to bring this series to entertain.

I could live in this paranormal realm for years to come as long as Michelle keeps writing about them and Troy and Sarah continue to narrate them.

I'm so excited for more books in this series, I cant wait till they are ready audio listening.

Tempting Titus is the sixth book in the Paranormals of Avynwood Series, an amazing paranormal romance. This is a series of interconnected stories, with characters intertwined. I recommend you to listen to this Series in order. Honestly, you don't want to miss one book, because all books are amazing. Titus and Imogen's story is beautiful, filled with mystery, suspense, and secrets. This is a geat addition to the series. The storyline that keeps going along the series is captivating. I love the friendship and the solidarity between all types of paranormals. Troy Duran (sigh...) and Sarah L. Colton did an amazing job with the narration. I love their voices together. They are very pleasant to listen to. This is definitely a great team author/narrators. Looking forward to listen to the next book in the series, Denying Davian.

Tempting Titus is the sixth book in the Avynwood Pack series, and it is most definitely one of my favorites to come out of the series. The storyline has a little bit of everything. The characters we love from the previous books are all back and dealing with, well, alot, which makes this another page-turner!

The book is about Titus, and his fated mate, Imogen, who find themselves helping to protect the paranormal community from an unknown attacker. They grow close as they try to find out who is attempting to harm paranormals, and with the attacker having no regard for human life, no one is safe. I could not put this very emotionally charged book down. With its mix of humor, drama, romance, paranormal and human action, suspense, twists, betrayals, and more, I read this one in a couple of hours.

Titus is a shifter and a fire fighter. He meets his fated mate when he goes to a high school to help a friend with his car. Imogen is almost nineteen and tired of going to school when she already knows most of what they are teaching. She is a mage and is drawn to Titus when the first meet. Its not until they are at a party together and a fire breaks out that things change between them. Titus has been helping with trying to figure out what paranormal is behind the fires. Will they find out who is behind the fires? Will They finally get their happy ending.

I love this series and can't wait to read more. This is a great story that will have you hooked from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Michelle Dare just keeps delivering better and better with this series. Each and every release has something new to make me fall in love over and over again with this world and all the people in it. Titus and Imogen’s story adds a whole new layer to this incredible family and I can’t even begin to put into words how much I loved it.
These two, like all mates have an instant chemistry that leaps from the pages. You can feel the electricity crackling between them every moment that they’re together. As with mates though these two are much more than just that sizzling connection. The soul deep bond that they develop is something that outshines nearly everything else.

I'm a fan of this series and ever since I read about Titus I have a soft spot for the fire fighting, motorcycle riding shifter with the heart of gold.

Titus and Imogen are great together and I love their chemistry.

It's always great to see faces old and new in Avynwood and I love reading about the different paranormals and their abilities.

I was completely taken by surprise by the twist in this book. I'm still reeling!

These are in the category of young adult and they can seem short and simple, but the characters are well fleshed out and there's so much humor and heart and these that you don't think about the age range.

Read it! You'll love it!

I read a LOT. OF. BOOKS. When I'm not editing, I enjoy reading romance fantasy to relax my brain. Michelle's books are always a great way to unwind. She always manages to make each of her novels unique, but all of them still have that same fun quality.

In this one, I had two favorite parts. The first was when Titus and Imogene say their "vows" to one another. Not too sappy, but full of love. The second part was the reveal of the "bad guy." I almost always can figure out who it's going to be, but I was surprised by who it was this time. That's always a sign of a well written book, to me, anyway.

If you enjoy  romance with a little mystery thrown in, you'll like this book.

I recieved this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review & I hadn't been able to download it so I brought the audio.

And Wolf Shifter come Firefighter Titus wants to be able to help All He's able to no matter what or who they are.
Then there's young high school senior whose a Mage, Imogen.
And it seems like Carter who is a Shifter but also a sub teacher in Im's class & when he gets Titus to get his car started up, he sees the way Ti is around her & vice versa.
Though she's NOT going to touch him to find out IF they're MATED.
There's lots going on within the Paranormal of Avynwood, so there's tenterhooks & the wondering who is causing ALL the disasters & how Quick their mating happens.
It's a beautiful Insta Love HEA with a little humour in Michelle's writing 😅🥰

This is the sixth book of the Paranormals of Avynwood series. It can be read as a standalone but all the books are connected so there will be spoilers for the previous books. We've seen Titus multiple times throughout the series. He's a wolf shifter and firefighter. He feels a strong pull towards Imogen, a young mage, from the moment they met but fights it because he thinks she's too young. Imogen feels the pull too but she's afraid to touch him, she's not sure if she's ready to know if he's her fated mate but they both know you can't fight fate. fun, read, lighthearted with a little bit of suspense. I really enjoy this series.
