It really annoys me that only two stars can be given here. But no matter how I twist and turn the whole thing... I can't give this book three stars. It just doesn't measure up to the average well-written book.
The basic idea would have been good for this short story. But unfortunately it is written much too superficially. In general, the story would have to be written a little "rounder" so that it can be read fluently and a connection to the characters can be found. I missed this. It seemed quite "wooden" in places. However, the cover is very nice and I liked the color change in the eyes in connection with the mating bond.

2 stars. The writing is not good and the synopsis is better than the actual book but there was something addictive about this in a trashy way. I’ll read the next part.

I read this book really quickly. The characters are good, the story is well written keeping me engaged from the first page. I would definitely recommend this book.
