TWIN BROTHER!? BOSTON HAS A TWIN?? Hahahaha! But he is a twin that also happens to be involved in the border smuggling business, but in a way that results in slavery and comes with all the things that don’t age too well.

While following the hook, Boston was lead directly to the town where his twin was setup. This issue really shows that Boston is getting a better handle on when to watch and when to intervene. Once he found out his brother was no killer, he intervened to save him from the crooks he was dealing with.

After that incident, Cleve decides to go back home, and does the most ridiculous thing possible to try and catch Boston’s killer. He pretends to be Boston to try and lure the hook back. It’s so crazy it might just work. Newsflash, it somewhat does. Boston hears word in Mexico about the whole ordeal and speeds back home, as he knows his brother took his place and the hook is on the way to finish the job. The hook first tries to kill Cleve by hiring the lion tamers to trap him with a drugged lion. Boston was able to take over and somehow survive. But then came the night of the big event. Boston was somewhere else, but deadman saw the hook and chased after him. Well it turns out the hook he saw was another crooked lion tamer, missing a hand and pretending to be the hook…to lure deadman out so he could finish the job.

At this point I am thinking, you have got to be kidding me…first Boston now his twin. BUT, it turns out that Cleve was swapped out earlier. Tiny took his place because he couldn’t handle Cleve being put in danger, and because of that Tiny was killed. Those final panels where Boston is at his wits end and distraught is so well done.
