The charismatic church gets a bad rap for this or that reason, but Brian lays out the simple reason why you shouldn’t throw the baby out with the bath water: Encounters are all throughout scripture. Old and New Testament. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He wants to encounter us and He usually does so when we are hungry for it. If you want to hunger more for encounter and consequently encounter God more, sit down and read this one - you’ll be glad you did!

Another Outstanding Book.
I love reading Brian Guerin's book. It's like listening to a conversation with a friend. He is easy to follow and writes so anybody can understand. Brian gives easy to follow instructions on how he has encountered God and tells us we can, too. As someone who has taken several of his classes, it's nice to have this book to refer to at a later time.
