This is a body guard romance and I was so here for it in the beginning. Tommy is super tall and I appreciated that Kat was also a tall heroine (over 6 foot). They had such insane chemistry and had to hang out all day with Tommy as her bodyguard, but it was definitely taboo because Tommy was trying to stay professional. Their flirting and banter was so fun and I enjoyed how protective Tommy was over Kat. She was trying to get her cheating husband to sign their divorce papers and she just wanted someone who could make her feel good. That's definitely where Tommy comes in!
Since this is a novella, I do think some scenes were skipped over and explained instead of having a full-blown scene for us and I really missed those. There was one at a club where Tommy was jealous and I would have loved to see that play out! But, as I said, this was novella, so we couldn't see all of the relationship development on page. Overall, though, this was a great body guard, forbidden romance!
Since this is a novella, I do think some scenes were skipped over and explained instead of having a full-blown scene for us and I really missed those. There was one at a club where Tommy was jealous and I would have loved to see that play out! But, as I said, this was novella, so we couldn't see all of the relationship development on page. Overall, though, this was a great body guard, forbidden romance!

I'm pretty sure this was my first body guard romance and I was not disappointed. I enjoyed getting to see another side to Kat that we didn't get before.
Reading Let Me Please You was a great way to wrap up the McClain Brothers series. Readers meet Kat for the first time in Let Me Love You but see her relationship with her husband deteriorate in a different book. This book picks up after those events and readers get the chance to indulge in her romance. First, Kat and Tommy (Big South's bodyguard) had so much chemistry. From the first time that readers are introduced to them there is energy in the room. AND THEIR BANTER IS EVERYTHING!!!! They both have fun, yet no-nonsense personalities that work well with each other. Kat's sense of humor made this the funniest book within the series and that was completely unexpected for me.
One of the most beautiful aspects of these two characters is the way that they support each other. I won't delve much into it because of spoilers, but it's clear that they are always willing to stand by each other even when things get tough and I appreciated that. Honestly, I really loved reading more about Kat and I absolutely adore her and Tommy. Another great addition and I can't wait to dive more into House's backlist this year.

I'm officially a McClain... in my mind...
😍😍😍I just love this series!!! Kat and Tommy's story just put everything in place. Funny and sexy as usual, Alexandria did an awesome job of making me fall in love with these two. Yeah, I'm a McClain for real,🤔 a distant cousin... The McClain books are just an overall 5 star series!!!😍😍😍

Kat (little sister to all the boys) and Tommy (Tómas)... these two are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I loved the chemistry, sense of humor and journey. It's kinda hard not to love these two!!!

A cute love story. I honestly read this years ago but for some reason it was stuck in my tbr list. Updating to state Kat and Tommy were cute and the epilogue was too sweet. I will say I was good without this book, but it was cute nonetheless

A great ending to this series
I enjoyed this series. Kat deserved her happy ending as the other McClains are all happy. Tommy was a good guy and it’s great that he helped Kat see she can be vulnerable again. It was a cute short story but it packed a punch

This one was sooooooo cute. I loved that she was tall, crazy, violent, and older. 😆 He’s a giant bodyguard who’s so stinkin sweet, and kind, and caring. They were just really super cute.

Cute little story but kinda unnecessary. Since we knew all of the details shared in this book from the previous books it wasn’t really needed. It was still a good story and I’m happy Kat and Tommy found love.

Cute quick sexy read. I definitely read this one out of order but it didn't really spoil anything for me. Thomas was exactly what Kat's 'mean ass' needed and they fit well with each other. I was also happy to see snippets of her brothers in this novella. Big South is still my favorite of the bunch.

If you are looking for another consistent author, then Alexandria House is your woman! The ability to weave an incredible story of love, heartache, humor, family, friends and a great time is what shows up in her writing in every book that I have read from her.
Let Me Please You is Kathryn "Kat" McClain's story, this story comes in between Leland and Nolan's story. Kat was married to her High School sweetheart but from each story of the brother's books we see that he has consistently dogged her by his cheating and subsequently giving her chlamydia that he got from one of his mistresses. Kat has had enough, filed for divorce and wants to start her life a new but how will she do it since, her only real experience in a relationship has been with her soon to be ex. Feeling like she let her life go and she doesn't know what to do, she dives head first into her business, being her little brother Leland's assistant and spoiling her nephew little Leland.
Thomas aka Tomas has been the personal body guard to Big South for years and now is the body guard to Leland. He takes care of him mother, sister and his nephew. Tomas has no desire to settle down and just want to do his job and eventually start his own security company. He has more than enough money saved. He is assigned to watch Leland family (wife and son) and also Kat when she is baby sitting her nephew. Tomas always knew about Kat, knew she was married and knew her husband was trash. But he also knows because he is not blind that she is a beautiful woman, Tomas is not trying to find out anything more than that thou.

Let Me Please You is the story of Kat, the only McClain sister and Tommy, the bodyguard for her brothers. While reading the McClain Brothers series I was so obsessed with the brothers that I had no interest in reading Kat’s story. I decided to go back and read it and I’m glad I did. I enjoyed getting to know Kat and Tommy.

This was good, the banter between those two was great. It is short and devoid of unnecessary relationship drama. This is best read right after book 3 because they take place during the same time frame. I maybe felt that we did not really get to know Tommy all that well but he still didn't feel shallow.

I read the McClain Brothers’ books awhile ago, but forgot I hadn’t listened to their sister’s story! It didn’t disappoint! We knew Kat and Tommy (a bodyguard) were together but this novella gave us their backstory and how their romance came to be! The narration was on point and sexy as always!

This novella is a spin-off of the McClain Brothers series. It’s the story of how Kat, the only sister in the McClain brood, hooked up with and eventually married Tommy, the family bodyguard.
I loved learning more about Tommy’s background, and how he was the one resisting the relationship, out of respect for his bosses and future brother-in-laws.
I highly recommend this 💎💎💎💎💎 novella by @msalexhouse, because it’s a feel-good love story.

I am enjoying this series, I loved that this was during the same time as Nolan and Bridgette’s love story but from Kat and Tommy’s perspective.

I love this family!
Why is everyone in this family a hot mess but in a good way? I love each and every member of the McClain clan. Tomas Waldo Enrique actually fits right on in! LOL When will Uncle Lee Chester get some sense? I swear he needs his own book about him and Lou because it would be comedy gold. A sectional though? That took me out!
