Have you ever wondered what fate has in store for you? For hundreds of years, Tarot cards have been used as a tool for divination, and a way to shed light on life’s questions and challenges. With an introduction to the 78 cards and their symbols, advice on choosing your deck and tips on how to prepare and read your cards, The Little Book of Tarot has everything you’ll need to gain your first glimpse into the misty realms of the future… What message will the cards hold for you?
🪬✨🧘♀️🪷 4/5 stars — This little book is very easy to read and follow and i wish i read this before i got into tarot but i thought its never too late to read it regardless. If anyone is thinking of getting into Tarot cards I recommend this book! It's one of those books you keep with you and always come back to and I will definitely keep coming back to this book for many reasons:
• easy to understand meanings of the cards • explains reversals • exercises that help us do readings • tarot spreads for specific situations • history of tarot • tarot facts throughout the book • creating a sacred space (e.g candles, crystals etc)
i do love the ‘little books of…’ but they definitely are just for beginners. whilst this was perfect for me as it was my introduction to tarot, it didn’t have all that much information. it had a few different tarot spread, which was very handy, and some context. but the information on each tarot card was very brief, mainly just key words. great book for someone who you think would like tarot, but not for someone who always had some knowledge on it.
The perfect little guide for beginners like me, although I wouldn't swear by these meanings of the cards unless I was looking for a quick keyword prompt. I found the exercises much more useful, as they allow you to get to know the cards first, then draw meaning from them yourself so you can interpret the whole story they're telling you.
I love this book. It is always by my side while I read my tarot cards. It is so well-written with a lot of examples. It is practical and easy to use. I totally recommend if you want to learn about tarot cards
This is a really good introduction to tarot. I found it easy to read and understand without feeling like reading a textbook. It was more being guided by a friend.
Since we are in another lockdown, I wanted to pick up a new skill/hobby. I've been interested in tarot for a long time and I am finally learning more about it!
A decent introduction to how to use a set of tarot cards. Goes through both the major and minor Arcana cards one by one, and suggests ways of laying out your cards.
