I enjoyed this book.

Bo, (not my real name) is now taking fish oil religiously, started an exercise routine enjoyed after the first 5 minutes, never looking at the time again in the middle of the night and have a new perspective on "small talk". :)

Dr. Hall's book was both informative and entertaining to read, with ah-ha moments and very timely reminders. This book is easily applicable and inspirational, touching on the areas of life which need to be mindfully managed to ensure optimum success.

I was pleasantly surprised with this book! There are no groundbreaking new discoveries, but there are new bits of information and viewpoints I had not previously considered. The chapters are well constructed and the concepts are presented in a way that is accessible to most readers. The writing had a good flow with a bit of wit and humor thrown in. This book is especially beneficial for people who are in a place where they just feel stuck and may not know why with references to resources and action plans to make those small steps forward.

It's a sleeper in that while this book seems short and simple it delivers legit wisdom in a structured, efficient way. I read most of this eight months ago and after rereading now surprised to realize how many thoughts and actions this book seeded in my daily activities. Had forgotten but this book had even directly suggested some of the authors I read last year. If you don't have time for a 700 page Tim Ferriss ego trip this is the much more humane way to go.
