Kidnapping her was the easy part. Now I’ve got to tame her.

Runaway corporate princess, Lyssa Baylor, was born with a silver spoon in her mouth.
But that’s not what I’ll be sticking in there.

LYSSA
Freelance princess hunter, Mason Macintyre, thinks he’s so tough with those bulging muscles. He thinks he’s so smart with his plan to tame me with spankings and submission. Well, I’ve got news for him. They don’t call me Wild Thing for nothing.

I’ve been playing unruly princess my whole life and I’m not about to stop now.

MASON
This was supposed to be a simple kidnap job. Catch her and bring her in so she can be married off to the son of a family friend. But once her father realizes the man he hired to reform his unruly brat of a daughter won’t be able to handle her, he blackmails me into completing the job.

No one blackmails me, I don’t care how rich and powerful you are. Her father might be untouchable, but Lyssa isn’t. I’m gonna touch her all over and punish her so hard, that forced marriage will be her only way out of my little princess reform school.

WILD THING is a smokin’-hot, sexy story of a runaway princess and her reluctant Prince Charming. A tantalizing tale of forced marriage, captive submission, and a hero who doesn’t know he’s a hero until he meets the girl he was meant to save.

J.A. Huss never wanted to be a writer and she still dreams of that elusive career as an astronaut. She originally went to school to become an equine veterinarian but soon figured out they keep horrible hours and decided to go to grad school instead. That Ph.D wasn’t all it was cracked up to be (and she really sucked at the whole scientist thing), so she dropped out and got a M.S. in forensic toxicology just to get the whole thing over with as soon as possible.

After graduation she got a job with the state of Colorado as their one and only hog farm inspector and spent her days wandering the Eastern Plains shooting the shit with farmers. After a few years of that, she got bored. And since she was a homeschool mom and actually does love science, she decided to write science textbooks and make online classes for other homeschool moms. She wrote more than two hundred of those workbooks and was the number one publisher at the online homeschool store many times, but eventually she covered every science topic she could think of and ran out of shit to say.

So in 2012 she decided to write fiction instead. That year she released her first three books and started a career that would make her a New York Times bestseller and land her on the USA Today Bestseller’s List eighteen times in the next three years. Her books have sold millions of copies all over the world, the audio version of her semi-autobiographical book, Eighteen, was nominated for a Voice Arts Award and an Audie award in 2016 and 2017 respectively, her audiobook Mr. Perfect was nominated for a Voice Arts Award in 2017, and her book, Taking Turns, was nominated for an Audie Award in 2018. Johnathan McClain is her first (and only) writing partner and even though they are worlds apart in just about every way imaginable, it works.

She lives on a ranch in Central Colorado with her family.

I really need to check my expectations at the door when I read this author. I thought this was one of her new books with the sweeter side. That is not what you get at all. This was way darker and more twisted. This is what she is known for after all.

I pretty much chanted "WTF" inside my head for the first half of the book until I realized we were about to learn something very disturbing. And it is VERY disturbing.

I do love to be surprised, which is why I like this authors books, but I have to admit this one was a bit darker than I wanted to go. I do love that the Hero saved the heroine and we got that happily ever after.

Wild Thing is the third installment of the Naughty Things series, made up of three standalone dirty tales.
Although I didn’t finished Sweet Thing (the characters didn't do it for me at all), I'm turning the last page of Wild Thing with a huge smile on my face, and my mind quite blown.
This is the JA Huss style I love so much (should I say crave instead? Possibly). From the beginning, the characters drew me in, they had strong voices, I wnated at all cost to know their story. As I'm writing this, I'm still smiling, because damn, what a trail on a steep slope it was!
They had that connection from the get go and at the same time a darkness and an edge I couldn’t wait to explore.
This is a short book, but the author built the mystery and the twists like the mastermind she is, with talent and at a pace that had me bouncing on thr sole of my feet in anticipation.
Wild Thing is definitely more than a naughty book, although the steamy parts were definitely toe-curling material!

This Wild tale will make you HOT, make you think, and make you sigh...

Julie’s signature twists come into play in this seemingly straightforward tale of a girl gone wild. Luckily for Lyssa her tormentor is also an intelligent and inquisitive man. Mason is one controlling babysitter, but he also sees beyond Lyssa’s facades. I love having both POVs, like seeing behind the scenes, yet it reads like we’re watching their story in a movie. And most of all I love the true romance behind the steamy premise of taming this wildcat woman.

WOW, WOW, WOW! This read was definitely not what I expected, it was intriguing, riveting and all-consuming. I was drawn to this story with each page and the more I read the more consumed I became. This was not the lighter, sweeter book... this read was dark, captivating and filled with twists that were downright mind-blowing. Prepare to have your world flipped upside down with the heartbreakingly beautiful story that unfolds!

*I received a free copy of Wild Thing. This has in no way influenced my review which is honest and unbiased.*

Wild Thing was a very intriguing story! It took me a little while to warm up to both Lyssa and Mason, but once I did, I was all in with them. Most of the story unfolded in a huis clos, where Mason was trying to 'tame' Lyssa so she could get married. Only, there was something strange going on both with Lyssa and with the mansion they were staying at. The suspense was both physical and psychological, and that made me read with eagerness to see what Mason could do to maybe save Lyssa for real.
Solid writing, and characters that evolved during the weeks they were together made this a very enjoyable tale.

I cannot say this enough, but you can never go wrong with a J.A. Huss book. She is a very versatile author that gives us sweet to dark and twisted stories to everything in between. Wild Thing is more on the darker side and twisted and I loved it! This was a forced marriage and a bit of submission read with all kinds of steaminess and surprises along the way.

Mason is hired by Lyssa’s father to kidnap her and now he has to tame her. But Lyssa is one wild princess and used to doing what she wants. No man will tame her, right? Mason is an alpha with a surprising sweet and protective side. Lyssa is not afraid to go after what she wants or hide her wild side. Imagine their surprise when they cannot deny their attraction. Wild Thing by J.A. Huss was such a steamy story with a bit of mystery and a quick read.. This was a great read and one I would recommend.

4.5-stars. Read and reviewed for Sultry Siren Book Blog.

I devoured this book.
Bounty Hunter, Mason McIntyre, hired to bring home unruly ‘little miss rich girl’ brat Lyssa Baylor and to make her more compliant, more bendable and so much less of a wild thing

We’re taming you, Lyssa Baylor. The people who love you want me to banish that wild thing inside you

J. A. Huss makes us look beyond the add old saying, don’t judge a book by its cover ( and I’m not referring to the actual book cover but the characters themselves) and looks can be deceiving. I conjured up so many different scenarios for which way this story was heading but I didn’t guess just where Huss was going with it. I won’t divulge any more but hold onto you hat for a jaw dropping revelation. It’s a doozy......

Wild Thing starts like a classic steamy bodice-ripper, but it quickly morphs into something more. Something more like a psychological thriller with all the plot twists for which author J.A. Huss is known. This installment of the author’s Naughty Things series is more naughty than nice (pun intended). It is narrated in a dual POV, and one narrator is not reliable! I will say that I was skeptical at the start, but having read most of the author’s work, I quickly discerned that there was much more to the story than one first believes. Mason Macintyre is a bounty hunter in need of some big bucks fast. He takes the job of bringing home the wayward wild child (Lyssa) of a daddy-got-rocks. The “kidnapping” seems like a legit bring home the child situation until things get weird, as in a Twilight Zone meets Eyes Wide Shut sort of way. There is some kink, and there are some really sweet moments. Overall, there is a lot of crazy that takes some sleuthing to figure out. In the deducing and sleuthing, a Prince Charming is born--so to speak, and he needs a princess to save from a fiery dragon. This ain’t your typical childhood fairytale, but perhaps a fairytale reimagined for a mature adult audience. Wild Thing is a quick and captivating read!

I have been really enjoying these short, sweet stories Julie has been releasing over the past few weeks. The first was sweet and very emotional, the second was sweet and very sexy, so I figured the third would be sweet and...something, but in typical Julie fashion, she threw a curveball at me with Wild Thing.

Yes, Wild Thing is about a girl who is pretty wild and her father needs someone to tame her down so he can get her married off as arranged, but this story doesn't get anywhere near the "sweet and..." like the previous two books. Oh, there's sweet moments inside, that occur between Mason and Lyssa, but this book has some dark overtones and is layered with confusing clues that Mason tries so hard to decipher so that he can figure out who Lyssa truly is. Is she really like the Wild Thing he saw in the club that very first time, or is she really a subdued, spoiled princess under her Stepfather's thumb?

Prepare to go on a wild ride reading this book! Strap in tight, because the twists and turns come at you fast and furious!

Wild Thing was Perfect in every way imaginable, It had suspense, angst, twists and turns and lots of steamy time. Everything you expect from J.A Huss and more!
Mason and Lyssa's story is NOT your typical boy meets girl type of story.. I was kept on the edge of my seat throughout the entire thing and my brain was working overtime trying to figure things out and at every turn there was yet another twist to it... I LOVED IT!!!

Best Kidnapping Ever!!

Delightful characters, intriguing storyline, and a very special someone who is wise enough to look below a façade and see the truth which is deeply buried. Equal parts danger, family issues, undeniable attraction, humor and more combine to create an amazing story.

Alyssa the spoiled princess needs to be reigned in, and Mason is the guy for the 'job'. But wait! There's more! So much more. Alyssa's past is tuned out as a survival tactic against the twisted intentions of her stepdad. This third installment of the trilogy is actually the darkest, written Huss style with hairpin twists and turns that make for a wild read.

DNF because I just honestly couldn’t get past the ick factor of it all. Lissa was *clearly* an abuse victim, and I couldn’t stomach the “hero” forcing her to bend to his will/her stepfather’s will. I took great issue with the fact that he thought it was his *right* to BEAT HER with a belt when she didn’t follow his rules (and I’m not talking about pain or spanking play as part of a healthy sex life here. That’s totally different. He actually injured her because she didn’t do what he said.) She’s a 25 year old woman; no matter how poorly he felt she had behaved, absolutely nothing gave him that right. I skipped through the end so I at least got the cliffnotes and the whole thing is just gross. I honestly don’t know how anyone could get past the ick to enjoy the sex/romance. We’re supposed to accept a HEA with that asshat? Yes, he didn’t have all the information, and he tried to save her when he realized what was really going on. But he directly contributed to her abuse. He *did* abuse her. That alone shows such a lack of judgement and character that there’s no accepting him for me. It’s not often that I say this, but I regret reading it.

I don't know. Once the Ml assaulted her with a belt it made me cry and for the rest of the book, I was scared for her. This book is Weird and has nothing to do with the Description. I regret reading it. Not to be mean, but I usually skip over reading this author's book. I've only read one good book and decided to give her another chance. I read two pedophilic books by her that normalized pedo ways. I'm always so uncomfortable reading her books that's it's getting old. It has me thinking that maybe the Author finds pedophiles and Abusive men sexy. I forced myself to read this book through disgust, sadness, confusion, etc. I will never read a book by this author again. The sex scenes were not sexy considering the Mc’s trauma. I feel like he should have taken the fact she dresses like a baby and asks him not to leave her alone in that house as big red flags. He's also no better than the stepdad because he found her attractive when she dressed like a “cute six year old” his words. That's so Wierd and even dressed like a kid he had sex with her like what the hell. This book is not sexy as hell by the way. I feel like I read some sick persons fantasy!

I rarely give 2 stars but this one was not a fun read for me. Just not into spanking and this took it a little too far for me, because it wasn't for sexual pleasure, at times it was to "tame" her Wild Ways. Which is why she's called Wild Thing. This also delved a little too deeply into some psychotic, pedophile bullshit that I'm just not a huge fan of. Now, once again, as I always say, I do not have the skills or imagination to be an author and I highly respect those that have this talent. I am not slandering the author or what she chooses to write about. This just hit me wrong. To each their own and if someone else loves it, no judgement here. I read it and it wasn't horrible at all, just hit on some topics that I personally do not enjoy.

Short with a hint of darkness. Julie knows how to keep a reader on their toes while reading. Mason has one job, bounty hunt the corporate Princess. That's until daddy dearest wants the princess to be tamed. The question is can Mason the bounty hunter tame a Wild Princess? But get ready for some jaw dropping moments because you won't see that coming.

Holy Smokes, I just keep getting surprised!!

Julie keeps me on my toes! I have liked 95% of the books of hers I have read and this marks yet another one! I had no idea where this story was going when I started and still a bit confused even though I’ve finished to be honest. It ended kinda abruptly with a few undisclosed and/or unsolved details that left me wondering but other than that? An amazing read!
Lyzza and Mason were straight🔥! The chemistry the had, 😮‍💨🥵 hot AF! That sets the pace for me, chemistry. They didn’t go HEA right from the get go but they did feed that tension, that crackling electricity that thickened the air and I LOVE that! The story itself was so weird though, not sure how to describe it. In a nutshell step daddy had brain washed her to act like a little girl and he and his old arse friends exploited her, never actually touched her, but still…sick men for sure! He was grooming her for a particular sick job and it made me want to 🤮! Then Mason comes along, unemotional, bored, unimpressed with the world and gets HIS rocked by Lyzza. He was hired to kidnap her but ends up getting blackmailed to “break” her in order to get his mom the help she needs. Furious, he agrees. He’s no white knight though, there to safe her…right? 🧐

He and Lyzza end up going on a wild journey to solve the mystery of what her step father is REALLY up to during her time in “training” to be a good girl again to uncover the dastardly duplicitous plan of her evil step father had cooked up for his long game.

All in all a fantastic read! I actually preferred listening to this one as Christian Fox, holy shee-it Christians VOICE DAY-UM🥵🔥that man’s voice made me have to fan myself and left me squirming uncomfortably in my seat MANY times over the course of this book. Officially in my top 3 male narrators and THAT is a massive compliment. He brought Mason to life with that soft smexy voice that lit.me.up! Then there was Emma Wilder who did an amazing job as well! She brought the sassy scared pouty lost LYZZA to life. I truly enjoyed how well these two portrayed their characters. Completely elevated this story for me.

I mostly listened to this one instead of impatiently switching to my kindle like I normally do because I enjoyed their voices that much! A phenomenal listen! J.A. Huss, you
did it again.

Just when I think J.A. Huss can't surprise me with a new twist in her writing, she goes and gives us Wild Thing! I guess I just expected a shorter book that has the heat and wit Huss is known for with an easy-going storyline to match. Oh but how foolish I was to think that. She delivers a sexy, albeit a bit crazy kind of romp that has an intriguing mystery attached to it that I could not put down.

This tale of Lyssa Baylor and the man who would turn her already unsteady world upside down had me at page one. Here I figured that Mason Macintyre would do what he was paid for, (for the record, so did he) and make sure that Lyssa was back in her mansion, getting ready to marry just like her stepfather wanted. But Wild Thing and the Princess Hunter never in a million years could have predicted they would fall for the other and in turn change both of their lives forever.

I just loved the way Huss crafted this story. It felt as if we were going along with Mason and dodging all the roadblocks right along with him as he finds the real Lyssa underneath all of her supposed out of control antics and begins to love the true woman she is.

Not to mention the jaw-dropping twist as to why Lyssa's evil stepfather was so hell-bent on having her marry a man she didn't want and living in the mansion she so desperately despised.

Lyssa's spirit was something to behold and Mason was clearly the man who could really see her and let her be the wonderful combination of tender and fierce that she was. The myriad of emotions that are laid bare offer intense moments that are beautifully juxtaposed to the race against time to save Lyssa from a life of hurt and sorrow.

I thoroughly enjoyed the fast pace, the smart humor and the tenderness that is perfectly placed and appreciated. Lyssa and Mason are an unexpected pairing that in the end is exactly what the other both needed despite the surprises that keep coming their way.

Wild Thing, oh yeah I think I love you and happily give this book 5 stars!

When Mason Macintyre took the job to reign in a runaway princess, he thought he knew exactly what he was getting into... he couldn't have been more wrong.

Lyssa Baylor is no man's to tame, and she will fight tooth and nail to maintain her freedom... but then again, she's never met a man like Mason before...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wild Thing was an off-the-charts sexy and completely consuming read that will leave you feeling breathless and ready for more. Mason and Lyssa's scorching hot and full of discipline relationship may be built on a business deal turned kidnapping, but there is nothing forced about the way they can't keep their hands off of each other...
Lyssa was a fierce woman who fights like an animal to avoid a marriage that was arranged for her by her stepfather. She may be overly promiscuous, but she also doesn’t apologize for who she is. She likes men and sex, and she isn't afraid to show it. With her inconvenient attraction to her kidnapper, Lyssa is stuck between wanting to have a little fun with Mason, or trying to escape her unwanted wedding day... again.
Mason is an honest man who lives by his integrity. Taking the job to kidnap a spoiled princess, he already has a pre-formed opinion of just what kind of woman Lyssa is. But one encounter with Lyssa has him rethinking everything he knows about her. And when Lyssa stirs an instinct in him to get her to behave, he tries and fails to resist his need to dominate her.
This was a great book! With super hot sex and a signature JA Huss twist, I absolutely could not stop turning the pages of this untamable and unforgettable story.
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
Lyssa is known as the Wild Thing! She appears to be rich women who just wants to have fun and be wild. But there are secrets that she is running from, some of which she really doesn't even understand herself. Her father (really stepfather that adopted her when she was younger) wants her to marry a business associate to benefit both business. Lyssa doesn't agree so she has been "running" away from her father but things are getting down to the wire and her father wants her to fulfill her responsibilities.
Mason is a bounty hunter who was hired by her father to get Lyssa and bring her to her new home. Mason was paid a lot of money to do this and Lyssa gives him a really big fight! Once he gets Lyssa and brought her to her home, he feels like there's more to what Lyssa's father has told him. When Lyssa scares away her "tutor" to make her into a lady, Mason is given the proposition to do the job. He takes the job since he was getting 5 million dollars but while he spends time with Lyssa, he finds out that she isn't as wild as he father made her out to be and that there's something going on that is hurting Lyssa.
Mason and Lyssa are attracted to each other since they first met and as they spend more time together, they realize that they want to get to know each other more and act on their attraction. As they spend more time together, Mason starts to figure out what is going on with Lyssa and what her father is doing to her.
When Mason figures out what is going on, he will do whatever he needs to in order to help Lyssa and confront her father with his suspicions. Mason shows Lyssa how deep his feelings for her are and that he wants to be with her. When Lyssa starts to remember some of her secrets, Mason is there to help her. It's such an interesting story with some unexpected secrets thrown in!
JA Huss has been rapid releasing some "lighter" faster paced books these last couple of months and I've been enjoying the quick reads. They've been simple and fast and good palate cleansers. Then she releases THIS book. It was still a fast read, but not so light. Just when you think it might be sweet and light, JA Huss hits us with some dark and twisted. Just what I like.
Told in dual POV, Mason is the bounty hunter hired to find and kidnap the rich spoiled girl, Lyssa. What follows is hot, sexy, funny and a bit sad, twisted and dark. Who is going to control and put Lyssa back to rights? Who will find the 'real' Lyssa?
This is the dark fairy tale with a twist that you didn't see coming. It's dirty and sexy. An alpha with a sweet side that is just looking to complete his job. Will Lyssa lose her "wild thing" ways and will Mason complete his job or will Mason adjust to the wild thing?
I enjoyed this quick read and was pleasantly surprised to be brought back into the more twisted Huss world I've become accustomed to. There were a few parts toward the end that seemed a little loose plot wise, but overall it was a story and book I could get behind. I liked the roughness of Mason and the fight behind Lyssa. The stepdad is the villain in this story and he cannot be redeemed.
If you want a quick Huss book that still has her more twisted plot line, you've found it.
"The fairy tale is never perfect. It's dark, and filled with horrors and setbacks. It has a journey built in to it. The princess must live in hell first. And the prince must walk through that hell if he wants to save her."
And These? These...are your short stories huh? WOW!! Well It felt so far from anything “Short” Believe You Me!! Holy Crap They Are So Damn Good!!! I absolutely LOVE YOUR WRITING Julie A Huss!!
ALL These NAUGHTY THINGS even as Standalones are some Genius Thinking, I know It’s “Your Writing” Julie Huss, but you are just knocking these outta the park!
This One, Wild Thing is #3 and as a standalone you can read in any order....Once I started reading I Just Knew it was gonna be Something So Ugly, So Bad, So Sick an So Twisted YET Beautifully Broken Into being this “Wild Thing” JUST YES PLEASE!! Plus “Mason” He is just awesome, I truly have LOVED these Alpha Men he set out to do a job and he sure enough does it well! And Mason was to be my sons name, I just didn’t get a son, lol but I’d sure be proud if this one was mine. Even though as hot as this book is I was not thinking in any "Son Manner" Yep he kidnaps Lyssa to help get her ready for a wedding and in the first couple of chapters I am already thinking ok what is Julie gonna do with all of this...but damned if I had this pegged out the way it shakes!
Ya gotta meet Mason because he is an Alpha to be reckoned with and Lyssa this Wild Thing, does he tame her or her him? Its got some Hot sex scenes but nothing to crazy and def not to much for the book length, the shopping trip was Awesome and everything after that was just one of those best Mindfucks that Julie always brings out, it is certainly NOT Lacking in that Dept. at all!!!
Thank You As always Julie and it’s not I Think I Love You, So whatta my so afraid of or is it I’m Not Even Afraid Of...yep this Wild Thing and that song fit perfectly!!
I enjoy reading dark more than light, and no one does dark with the unexpected twist like JA Huss. Wild Thing Julie’s latest Naughty Things book is a departure from the first two in this series of shorter, standalone, Pretty Thing and Sweet Thing , show Julie’s light and sweet side. I expected this book to deviate from the first two after a post from Huss; the “third book has more dark twists.”
Wild Thing is a “reluctant Prince Charming saves bratty Princess” story. It begins with the kidnapping of Lyssa Baylor, a spoiled rich girl that has it all. At least that’s how it looks to outsiders. Lyssa’s stepfather has marriage plans for her that benefits his business deals. He doesn’t care one bit about Lyssa’s needs or wants.
Mason Macintyre is the hot, sexy, bounty hunter who has the contract to bring Lyssa home. Mason believes he is doing the right thing for Lyssa and her father until he realizes that everything isn’t as it appears. As Mason works on figuring out the secrets surrounding this job, the two get closer. Let the steamy moments begin.
Like most stories from Huss, the reader must travel the road with very little information. She will take you down some super sexy, kinky paths that twist and turn unexpectedly. Wild Thing pushes the envelope at times, but it is a push that I enjoyed thoroughly. I can’t wait to see what Ms. Huss will deliver in her next book. In the meantime, if you love dark, the unexpected, sexy, with a mysterious undertow, try Wild Thing. It is captivating.
Wow, just Wow! This story was off the rails good! I was sucked in so fast I couldn’t put it down and yes, I read while at work to finish it, needless to say I didn’t get much work done. I loved Lyssa, she’s a firecracker, strong willed, stubborn and a fighter, she needs to be with the life she’s been living. When Mason comes into her life, he’s under the assumption that she’s a spoiled rich little girl who will be taught a lesson by her step-father and hired to bring her to him. Little did Mason know that there was so much more to Lyssa and her relationship with her step-father. The more time they spend together, he sees different sides of her and can’t quite put his finger on it, but something is off and he needs to figure it out. Feelings are bubbling to the surface between them and Mason isn’t sure how much longer he can deny her touch and the longing in Lyssa’s eyes she needs him and he needs her, but how will all this play out as she’s been promised to someone else and the plans her step-father has for her will have you reeling in your seat wanting to punch him in the face. This story was outstandingly amazing! I loved every inch of it from the first page to the last. These two were destined to be and every little girl wishes for her prince to ride in and save her, will Mason get the chance to save Lyssa before it’s too late? I highly recommend this book.
Wild Thing: I think I love you!
Wild Thing by JA Huss is darker than the first 2 books of the Naughty Things series but It’s also packed with a lot of entertaining edge of your seat action. Bounty hunter Mason Macintyre has his hands full when he is hired to kidnap Lyssa Baylor. Her wealthy dad has plans to marry her off against her wishes to the son of a friend and gives Mason free reign to tame and break her any way he sees fit. Hmmmm...
This book had some uncomfortable moments in it that I won’t give away but left me squirming. It was not what I was expecting to read. At all. It had all the trademark JAH heat, romance and twist but it was the sharp edges in some parts that caught me off guard. Although those moments were infrequent they were unexpected and to some extent unnerving, in a holy-frigging-cow-what’s-that-about kind of way. So even though I should remember to expect the unexpected when it comes to JAH, I still didn’t expect it, which is a HUGE reason I enjoyed it as much as I did.
Wild Thing: I think I love you!!
Which brings me to the EOBS. My addiction was satisfied. The mantra that is swirling through my mind is JAH reserves the right to change her mind. She can do whatever she damn well pleases as far as I’m concerned. Bottom line when it comes to her books: If she writes them, I will buy them.
What can I say about this book, this author? J.A. Huss, has done it again! This story was incredible, the characters so complex, so intense, so amazing, that I just didn’t know what happened until she wanted me to know. Oh Julia that brain of yours it’s amazing. This is one book I would say read and don’t look at the spoilers, hell don’t look at reviews, or even the synopsis. Don’t spoil the story for yourself, just read it and enjoy it. This is the third book in the Naughty Things series, and I loved, loved, loved ii! I’m not sure what I loved more this one or the first one.
The “hero” was so smart, definitely an alpha male, and a little mysterious. I honestly don’t have a bad thing to say about him, did he kidnap the heroine, yeah for all the right reasons, right? The heroine so complex, confusing in her own right, smart, confident on one end, childlike, and confusing, needy and sick? Again you have to read to find out some of those answers.
At any rate this book is worth the read, light BDSM. Excellent chemistry between the characters, a different type of captivity book, definitely will read again and will go on my favorites list. Also, can be read as a standalone, but is part of a series, but characters don’t carry over so really can just read this book if want to. Hot sex J.A. Huss is so good at writing is in here and the story is so explosive!
