Risk is such a good book to read. It is a dark romantic read, full of suspense and intrigue that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Jaden is super alpha, and a dangerous man to cross. His mission is to stop the sex trafficking going on of young girls. His partner Rayne was a victim to such horrific abuse by Viper, along with his friend Sasha.
Now he’s called back again because of another girl missing and Rayne is by his side. But he gets set up by a cop, Tempest, who has been after Jaden for quite awhile. She has Rayne and Razor arrested, and he is beyond mad. Before he knows what is going on his world goes dark.
This is just a small part of what is going on. Jadens world is a mess and we don’t know what is going to happen to Rayne. But will Jaden be able to rescue her in time or not? Who knows but you will definitely want to read book 2. ❤️❤️

This is a very well written book that grabs you from start to finish! Amazing and real life like characters that you can relate to and fall deeply in love with! A story line that is so raw and edgy and reads like a TV mini series that addresses a real life issue is just epic! The steamy sexual chemistry makes this one Hot and enjoyable read! Risk by Lilith Darville has a lot of potential, but the book felt more like a rough draft to me. This did not read like the beginning of a story. There was a lot of backstory that was missing to fill in a lot of blanks that I have. I would have wanted to know more about how Rayne and Jaden met as well as how their relationship came to be what it is currently in the book. There was a lot of hinting that they had a previous relationship, so a bit of insight into that would have been nice. I do not know if the author will get to it in future books, but I felt like there was a lot missing. The story could have been built on a lot more, characters could have been built on a lot more, and the book would have felt more like a novel instead of a novella. What I read, I really did like. I just wish there was more.

An edgy, hot, enjoyable book. This book deals with a tough subject, sex trafficking. The characters of Jaden and Rayne are likeable and you keep rooting for them. This book had me glued to the pages, wanting to find out what happens next.
