O.M.G. This story right here is something else. These characters were Wowza....
Dakota, man, you are bae... Alpha, boss man, beautiful very well endowed, lethal, loyal, protector, and just down right scrumptious and what any one of us would like to have, I know I do.
Aara, well don't know yet because she is giving off vibes of being childish, naive, gullible, undesicive and just skittish. She is not poised and seems not too be intelligent. It's gonna take some to get use to her.
Tatum, coming from the same background as Dakota, could be the perfect one, but her conniving ways, lying, cheating and down right to be an option evil person, makes her so unattractive and simply thirsty.
Now, Prez and Apollo, love y'all... You both are dedicated, loyal and all and are super cute.
Evvy, good girl for a boss man and a thug.
I can't wait to see what karma has for Tatum, Alana, Zo and the exes. Lucas needs a visit from karma sooner then all of them because he is a savage, and vil, and manipulative person. Bell, really Lucas, Bell..

Aww naw
Awww naw see everybody got to go! Lucas got to go, that slut Tatum has got to go! Her sorry mammy gots to go! Now I really wanna know Zo so role I’m all of this. Not to mention the part Aara brother had to play in all of this too. Man when it all comes out ish is going to get real! This book was crazy. Some may not agree with what I’m about to say but I loved how she stuck to her beliefs. I was happy that she didn’t just say ok and didn’t just jump into a relationship and become his side chick. She said no your married we can not do this. I won’t do this. You can’t be doing this. I admired her for that. He kept coming after her. She wasn’t chasing after him. I can see now this series is going to be like a blooming flower revealing it’s layers and I so can’t wait for the rest. Sensational

Kode!!!!
This book was good from start to finish! I am in love with Kode!!! There are so many secrets and drama, OMG. I love Kode and Aara and hope Kode plans he next moves strategically and successful that involve working things out with Aara and getting rid of the snake he calls a wife. OMG, the bomb that Lucas dropped on Kode....father or not he would be on his own in jail and his days would be numbered. I hope Prez and Evvy end up with a dope love story and happily ever after. I have a feeling that baby Daddy is lurking and will show face in Part 2, but Prez will not disappoint and come through for Evvy and Kruz. This book was definitely a page turner, I could not put it down. I hope Kode and Aara make it through all the lies, deceit, and snakes! Great job by the author as always, come on Part 2.....I’m ready!!!!

A whole closet full of mess
The Morette family is a whole closet full of mess. Dakota and Tatum clearly have the wrong father because Lucas could have easily raised that conniving Tatum!! I hope his sister Dallas get one good fight in with Tatum. And Aara does she even have a fair chance at a normal life or to be happy. Something deeper happened at that jail visit with his dad, and his cousin Zoe may hold more truth about baby Belle. Aaras brother died but why? So many questions and a whole closet of mess. Apollo I believe knows all but his loyalty keep him grounded. Very good read and another hood story with a bigger twist on the mob life.

Loved the book
Loved everything about the book except two things. One keep facts consistent. Dakota said he had a DNA test the day Belle was born. If she was not his, it would not have been a match unless the other option was an identical twin. A dad, brother, cousin, none of those would make a positive result. Next I have been reading through your great catalog. I guess it's ok when authors starting out have lots of spelling and word errors. I don't expect that many books later. I don't know who's editing these books and many others in this genre but jeesh..... Otherwise great storytelling and character building as always.

Interesting and didn't make sen… Interesting and didn't make sense at the same time. All the talk about the business and signing it over as well as bringing up Moretti and how powerful they were was a bit lame. After all the time they'd been together he hasn't found multiple ways to move outside that one company?
The ending with the father switching up was also lame to me, all this time with family first and being raised to never lie and this is what the father does? Good and different from some of the others this author but the plot seems to have huge holes in it that's taking away from the read. 7/10/2019 14:19

Bomb read!
That ending though! I had my suspicions but I had the wrong person in mind. I didn't like Lucas from page one and now I'm just ready for him to die. Tate ain't worth a quarter and I'm sick of her and all the b.s. that comes with her. I love love love love and I hope he breaks free from under the organization and comes out on top. I'm here for Perez and evvy and I can't wait for things to spice up with them. I hope aara doesn't end up hurt again behind the stupid mess Lucas created. I'm loving this storyline and can't wait for book 2.

Yeah Good Stuff
When starting this story we are drawn into a very crafty web of truths,lies and secrets.The writer starts off throwing us right into the action and begins the telling of a gangsters life and the woman he loves.With the beginnings of a romance between Mode and Sara you see love unfolding.The writer gives us a glimpse inside.This was good storytelling,to the point you are caught up and don't want to let go.There are quite a few relationships and they are so well suited.I hope for Lo's sake he is telling the truth.Can't wait for the next installment.

So I did not expect them turn of events. My heart is beating out my chest to know what’s going to happen next. I have so many questions... first thing Lucas ain’t Shit & I should’ve known from the start it was just something that didn’t sit right wit him Apollo saw through him. Mind Boggling!
I am happy at the fact that Dakota is experiencing what love truly means with Aara and everyone should at least experience love once in their life. With his lifestyle and the well known family name it's going to be hard for Dakota because of the decisions his father made as well as his. Decisions are detrimental to lives now. I'm very interested to see how this plays out especially when Aara is concerned. I feel for both because now everything will be a test on who is strong enough to survive the turmoil. Great Read! I think Dakota will do what's best for himself and protect Aara, Belle, and Dallis at all costs. He will not all his father to dictate his life and stay with Tatum. I think Prez will eventually end up in a relationship with Envy. Tatum and Amato will do something to make Dakota hurt them simply because they're both petty individuals. Can't wait to read part two! Job well done, KC!

His father has manipulative his way into his life control the family behind bars. Could Belle possibly be Kode father daughter Tatum slept with both men who is Belle father. This book has left me speechless. I am usually hopeful for people and the love they are fighting for when I read books like this.. but this ending has me second guessing rather or not Aara and Dakota can actually be together. Dakota’s father is as ruthless as it gets and I don’t see Dakota freeing himself from Tate to be with Aara because of what he did. Lord Jesus this book was everything and more... I can’t wait for part 2...

This series is gonna be lit. Kodi got a lot on his plate. And his soon to be ex wife is a peace of work. She don’t love him she love the power. The mete and his farther got way too much greed for me and that won’t be good for their lives in the end. Aara needs to stop fighting it and let it take its course. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and eating popcorn while waiting on the next book

Wow Kods is definitely the definition of a gangsta he makes boss moves and calls the shots . Aara is a lucky girl she has the man that everyone wants attention and as much as she's been trying to get away from him and his crazy still married situation I kno she's feeling him more then she would like. Exciting
This was a great book. I was on pins and needles the entire time I was reading. Tatum and Lucas need to be killed. He was a low down dirty old man to sleep with his son's wife and she was wrong to pretend like she loved him when she done slept with his dad and is currently sleeping with Mete (the enemy). I loved this book.

OMG
So I’ve been reading a few of the authors more contemporary romance, and became a fan. I decided to take a chance on this one and am so glad I did. While there are def urban undertones (I hate the drugs were part of his empire), this is a definite romance story. That ending was just jaw dropping. Loved this book. I’m rooting for happy endings and can’t wait for what’s next!

Ugh can you please just change Aara has the leading lady in Kode life. She serious got on my nerves. You would of sworn the man cheated on her if you see the way she was acting. I skipped a lot of reading when she came. I mean can you say doing the most. LOVE KODE and Bella. Love Apollo. I can't wait to read more about Envy and Prez 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Could have been a standalone
I usually love this author’s work and the characters in this novel were good but the book is SO SLOW!!! Nothing happens until the very end of the novel which causes the reader to want to read the sequel but all of this could have been hashed out in ONE book and the next could have been about Prez and Evvy.

Always Hooked!!
I’m never disappointed with a KC Mill’s Book. Kode and Aara have a lot of obstacles in their path, namely Tatum and Lucas, but hopefully they’ll get through it. Prez and Evvy, they have some past issues that’s going to make their Union a difficult one. Ready for for Part 2!!

This was a good book but it has a lot going on. Dakota is going to come out on top I'm sure because he may have to kill Tatem once he finds out Belle isn't his. I wonder where Aara's brother falls into all of this. I can't wait till the next book drops to see how this unfolds.

Great book! I was locked in from the beginning! I love Kode and hope that everything works out for him and Aara. Tate and Lucas ain’t ish and I hope that they get done on the worst way! This was a really good book. I wonder what is going to happen next..will Mai finally get in flight...will Aara let Kode all the way in, will he break her heart...and will prez and evvy get together..so many questions that I need answers too..can't wait to read the next book!

This book was so good and I loved the length. Loved the multiple characters and different things going on. Loved that the Italian was translated and I didn’t have to keep getting my phone out. I like that the violence wasn’t to graphic.
