TRAIN FOR WAR, FIGHT TO WIN (3.5 stars)

Hard Daddy was a story of mixed emotions for me and one I struggled with but was redeemed in the end. I never really felt a strong chemistry between Mace and Kyleigh during the first two-thirds of the story. I did admire Mace for not walking away when he heard a woman in danger and to what extent he was willing to go to keep her safe. I wanted to yell at Kyleigh for being so hard headed and at times just plain stupid. I would have liked more storyline of the characters and felt it was so much punishment and sex that it became overwhelming.

The plot will have Mace hearing a woman in distress and rescuing her from a known mafia hitman, Giorgio Ricco. Hearing enough, he knows that Gio plans to rape and kill Kyleigh and instead, Mace will take him out, but he also knows that he must get Kyleigh out of there and hide her away because she will become a target. Taking her to his fortress of a home will begin a battle of wills.

Kyleigh Pizzulo is a feisty, mouthy brat who jumps from the frying pan into the fire—but it is better than being dead. She fights Mace with everything she’s got, but he is stronger and more determined than her naïve self. Mace Cardelli has lived life the hard way, from his stint in the military as a Navy SEAL to working with his mafia family eliminating the scum of the earth and eventually to creating a successful computer business. Now, his newest challenge will be to keep a petite brat safe.

The story includes Mace disciplining Kyleigh repeatedly trying to impress upon her the danger she is in with the Ricco family. She does some foolish things but eventually will capitulate to his demands. The story will include non-consensual, dubious consent, and eventually consent. The story includes humiliation, harsh spankings, using implements during discipline mouth soaping, anal punishments, including enemas, plugs, and sex. The relationship will include her referring to him as Daddy, among other things.

“I know it’s soon, and these are odd circumstances we’re under. But, if you’d be my baby girl, I’d be more than happy. You don’t have to answer right now. You’ve been through a lot—besides we’re kind of stuck in this house together for a few weeks anyway. So you have time to weigh your choices. We’ll continue the way we’ve been. Some of the foolish things that Kyleigh does, in spite of all the warnings that Mace gives her, will place both of them in danger. His family will become involved in trying to keep her alive. It will come down to a meeting of the families to right the wrong and allow life to move forward. What will happen to Mace and Kyleigh?

I promised my friend ill read the next book she picked and i have to finish it lol and she picked a daddy kink book which i have no problems with. Now if this isn't your thing well it isn't your thing. It was fast pace and steamyish

This book had alittle more dd/lg mentioned and tiny bit of pet play, also i gotta say kyleigh was a huge got dang brat.. and I don't mean in a nice way i mean girl i wanna smack you upside the head. She did stuff that annoyed me i get being tiny bratty and doing stuff.. but she did stuff 24/7 to get punished.. that did annoy me. Also she did some other stupid stuff that could have gotten herself, Gunner (mace cousin) and mace killed.. as for Mace.. he was very nice saved a woman he didn't even know from almost getting raped and gets treated with no respect.. also him and those punishments ouch my butt was afraid lol

Maybe i would have liked this more if Kyleigh wasnt as a brat i would have liked it.

Needs Better Warnings

The warnings were a little too mild for the harsh treatment Kayleigh receives from Mace, who saved her from possible rape or even death from her ex-boy friend who was in the Mafia. Mace is an ex-seal and former Mafia member. He subjects her to spankings, lashings with a belt, anal and humiliation of others watching their sexual happening. This book needs more forewarning about the kink within. I rate it a 2.5.

Kayleigh in college trying to move forward after a breakup with her ex who happens to be part of the mob but as you can tell he didn’t get the message and came after her to commit sexual assault or worse, but she is saved by a retired seal. Mace sexy as all get out Navy Seal, a daddy and in this case a savior but knowing who he is dealing with he must protect her, so he takes her with him. What he didn’t count on was Kayleigh being such a handful she is worse them most brats but that is okay because Mace knows how to deal with extremely bratty little girls. Her bottom is going to really be sore more days than not because of the choices she makes, the attitude she gives and the danger she put herself in. She doesn’t realize each action there will be a reaction and he can protect her and plan for all reactions, but she has to do her part by following the rules …yeah not this brat. Warning there are sore bottoms, punishment, near rape and murder if this doesn’t sit right with you then no this isn’t the book for you.

First off,if you like a good daddy story then Hard Daddy by Megan Michaels
is just the book for you.I have read many books by this author and have enjoyed
them all.In saying that,this book kept me riveted and hot in so many ways.

After years of injustice and his connection with the Cardelli Mafia family,Mace
had no problem using his skills to save the life of Kyleigh Pizzulo from harm
or worse.He now needs to keep her safe and hidden until he can smooth the
way with the Ricco Family.Unfortunately for Mace, kyleigh was ungrateful,fiesty,
defiant and set on escaping and freedom.Mace felt a connection with Kyleigh
but she needed consequences,she needed a hard daddy.Humiliated by her body's
reaction to his harsh punishments,Kyleigh realised they were meant to be together.
She was his baby girl and he was her daddy.

There was never a dull moment as this book started out strong with the anti-hero
moving quickly.There was a high level of drama all throughout the story plus sizzling
sex scenes.I was on guard to what antics Kyleigh was to try next.She was not always
obedient allowing her daddy many opportunities to punish her.

The author showed a knowledge and understanding of the dynamics involved in this
lifestyle plus the ability to tell a story that was complex while remaining entertaining.

I really wanted to like this one. It had a couple of very sexy secenes. There were just a lot if issues for me. The characters were underdeveloped and the storyline was weak. It felt like the author was trying to go for shock value and just throwing things in. The dialog made me cringe a bit. It was more like teenagers than adults, especially mafia. Had this been deconstructed and presented as more of short story scenes with just the smut it
would be a much higher rating for me.

Absolutely loved this book. Ex-Navy SEAL, ex-mafia, total dominant Daddy - what a perfect combination...possessive, protective, and can always be counted on to follow through. Every Little Girl needs a Mace in their life. The story is pulse-pounding, panty-melting goodness cover to cover that is the backdrop to a strong storyline of two people coming together under less than ideal circumstances and fighting foes and feelings alike. This book is SIZZLING HOT!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Seriously, you might want a fan or two and an ice cold drink before you curl up with this book! There is action practically from the first page- the dangerous and sexy kind. What more could you ask for?!? I LOVED Mace. He is sexy AF. He has a hard hand and knows his standards are high, but he is marshmallow soft on the inside. Kyleigh is somewhat of a brat. Part of me could not blame her, and the other part of me wondered where in the world was her survival instinct? So I loved this. But just a warning— this book has lots of discipline and humiliation. Don’t get it if you don’t like that sort of thing. But if you do.... jump right in!!

Oh my gosh loved Mace, how he didnt let Kyleigh get way with popping off and being disrespectful.
Saving her from bad guy, think she would be grateful, nope. She tried everything thing to get away . Even though he told her that she was safer with him. Poor girl had more spankings and soap washes with in few hours.
Enjoy reading hard daddy. Loved the daddy and dark romance .
Will she learn to listen to her Daddy ? Realize that he trying to keep her safe ?

If you have ever read a Megan Michaels book then you know to expect a hot sizzling romance. That is exactly what you get from Hard Daddy. You don’t have to wait until halfway through the book either.

Mace was a Navy Seal and he gets your attention from the first chapter. He was dominant from the beginning and a man definitely in charge. He shows the perfect amount of kindness and dominance.

Kyleigh was a lucky lady to have him be the one finding her. I loved the banter between them and her sassy side. All ladies should have a bit of sass in them.

I definitely recommend this book.

Si cela implique de la ramener chez lui et de lui mettre la main sur les fesses nues alors qu'elle se met en danger par son mépris téméraire pour ses instructions, qu'il en soit ainsi.
Kyleigh Pizzulo ne sait pas trop quoi penser de l'ancien Navy SEAL qui lui a sauvé la vie et a ensuite insisté pour la garder sous sa protection, mais son excitation est indéniable lorsque la brute aguerrie la fessée jusqu'aux sanglots, et qu'elle hurle bientôt sa soumission dans les draps tandis qu'orgasmes brutaux ravagent son corps nu et tremblant.

Au coin de la rue, Mace courut jusqu'à son véhicule, la déposa sur la banquette arrière et claqua la portière. « Quinton, rentre chez toi ! »

« Putain. » S'engageant dans la circulation, Quinton parcourut les quelques pâtés de maisons qui le séparaient de la maison de Mace. Regardant par-dessus son épaule, il demanda : « Mais qu'est-ce qui s'est passé là-bas ? Et c'est qui ? »

Mace regarda Kyleigh, dont les grands yeux verts, perçants, fixaient Quinton et lui. Elle retira son pied et fut à deux doigts de lui donner un coup de pied en plein visage.

En réaction, Mace lui arracha la cheville, la tordit légèrement sur le côté et lui frappa violemment l'arrière de la cuisse droite à plusieurs reprises. « Tu. Ne. Me. Frapperas. Pas. Au. Visage. Ça. S'arrange ? »

En rétrécissant son regard, elle lâcha un tas de conneries qu'il ne pouvait heureusement pas comprendre à cause du bâillon temporaire.

« On y va, Kyleigh. Tu peux marcher, ou je te porte. À toi de choisir. » Il lui attrapa la cheville, et heureusement, elle ne donna pas de coup de pied cette fois.

Au moins elle a appris.

La traînant sur le siège, il posa ses deux pieds sur le sol, l'aidant à sortir, mais lorsque ses jambes recommencèrent à lui donner des coups de pied, il la jeta imprudemment par-dessus son épaule, faisant de son mieux pour garder le chaos - et le bruit - au minimum.

Ça aurait été bien qu'elle reste immobile. Mais non. Au lieu de cela, elle se débattait, se débattant comme un poisson hors de l'eau. Heureusement qu'il avait été formé comme Navy SEAL. Il n'était pas préparé à grand-chose, et gérer ce gosse n'était rien. Pourtant, sa patience commençait à s'épuiser.

« Quand on sera à l'intérieur, on aura une longue discussion. » Fouillant dans sa poche, Mace trouva ses clés et, pour la centième fois en une heure, il fut soulagé que Kyleigh ait un bâillon dans la bouche. Ses gémissements étaient déjà assez agaçants, mais au moins, ils ne seraient pas facilement entendus.

La porte s'ouvrit brusquement et il entra rapidement, fermant et verrouillant la porte, activant le système de sécurité pour savoir si une porte s'ouvrait, l'alertant si elle essayait de s'échapper.

C'est alors que son pied l'atteignit au tibia, exactement au même endroit que le coup précédent, et si on le lui demandait plus tard, il admettrait que c'est à ce moment-là qu'il décida qu'il fallait en tirer une leçon. Maintenant.

« N'oublie pas que c'est toi qui l'as demandé. » Mace la saisit par la main, la tira en avant et la pencha, soutenant ses hanches avec sa jambe, un bras autour de sa taille. Il lui donna plusieurs fessées sur le derrière recouvert de son jean. « Tu ne me frapperas plus, sinon ce pantalon tombera. C'est clair ? »

Il la releva, lui retira le bâillon de la bouche et, l'index pointé vers elle en guise d'avertissement, lui dit : « N'y pense même pas. »

Ses deux mains entouraient son derrière, ses lèvres pincées en une adorable moue. « Tu… tu m'as fessée. »

Le choc qui accompagnait ses paroles le fit rire et hocher lentement la tête. « Oui. Oui, je l'ai fait, et nous pourrons en reparler quand tu voudras. Tu garderas tes mains et tes pieds pour toi. »

« Connard. » Elle serra les dents, et si elle avait été dotée de pouvoirs magiques, elle l'aurait déjà frappé avec des rayons laser.

« Et cette bouche ? » Il la saisit par le coude, savourant la voir reculer de peur lorsqu'il s'approcha. Toute fille insolente a besoin d'une bonne dose de peur. Il entraîna la gamine réticente dans le salon et la déposa sur le canapé. « Assieds-toi. Reste. »

Il s'assit à côté d'elle , et bien que Kyleigh refusât de la regarder dans les yeux, Mace resta silencieux assez longtemps pour la forcer à le regarder. Il plissa ses yeux noirs, sa voix grave, rauque… et effrayante. « On s'occupera de ta bouche ensuite. Je viens de te sauver la vie ; un peu de respect me revient. Et je ne permets à personne de me parler comme tu l'as fait jusqu'à présent. Ça s'arrête ici… et maintenant. »

Rescued from rape in an alley by a mysterious man……
Mace hears the frantic screams and pleading of a woman as she begs for her life and for her not to be raped in a dirty alley she is surprised when a man removes the gun from her ex who she had discovered is part of he Mafia and promptly puts the bullet from the gun he was holding against her head into his, then he took the girl to his home where he protected her from Giorgio’s family and also from her own stubbornness.
Mace an ex-marine and also a past enforcer for his family but now the owner if an IT company for his family the Cordelli’s a very respected Mafia family that has decided to come together with Mace as he endeavours to protect the pint pot dynamo Kyleigh Anne that has been staying with him since the rescue. He has fallen in love with this small bundle of trouble, she is fearless, swears like a seaman but she also loves her new Daddy and the care he gives her; however, he stands for not of her attitude and soon puts her over his knee or even worse.
He has always wanted a little girl and also needs a D/s relationship he could never have expected that she would fall right into his lap and with the right love, care, attention and discipline he knows he has found the love of his life but first they have to dispose of the target currently over their heads, also he is aware that they do no want the respect and the tenuous relationship between these two well respected Mafia families to break down.
That would lead to death, bloodshed and heartache…..

This was a truly filthy, hot, steamy story with a smokin' Daddy who has always wanted a little girl and when he finds her, he just wants to protect her and take care of her, and spank her as necessary.

I liked Kyleigh. I think that she has all kinds of spunk, sass, and fire. She's stubborn and wants to do what she thinks is right. She's also more than a little impulsive, and she doesn't always think through what the consequences are going to be for her actions. And there are always going to be consequences, and she's pretty much never going to like them.

Mace is very strict and stern with her. But, he's also very protective and caring. It's an interesting juxtaposition and one that I really enjoyed reading. I think that he jumped a couple of times before he should've, but that's just my personal opinion. I do like him though.

This was a seriously hot book, and one that I will definitely keep around.

OMG! This book is full of tension, dominance and incredible erotic encounters.

Mace saves Kyleigh’s life. He then brings her to his home to keep her safe. She is an independent spitfire who truly needs his control. Mace is a stern Dominant. Kyleigh is a hidden submissive. His intense, stringent and demanding training and punishments were harsh, but also kind of like magic in the way his methods could help a submissive let go of her worldly inhibitions to reach her ultimate sexual potential. A potential where she strives to satisfy her Dominant while at the same time accepts and fulfills her own inner needs.

If you are opposed to Daddy Doms, Littles, Pet Play, humiliation, harsh punishments and/or anal, do not read this book. If you have an open mind---READ AND ENJOY this beautifully exciting kinky story.

Having not read anything from this author before I was unprepared for how "hard" Daddy is. This isn't a bad thing, not at all, I had just read other "Daddy" stories, and they came across far more compassionate, loving and caring that what I read in this story. Of course, there is discipline; there always is, however, in this story, Mace seemed to enjoy Kyleigh's subjugation, using her humiliation has a disciplinary technique as well as finding it sexually arousing. I'm giving it five stars because it opened my eyes to a different side of "daddy" role-playing and/or actually "living" (in a book sense) the lifestyle. I didn't agree with everything I read, but for me, in this particular case, it made me want to see the outcome.

Kyleigh, abused by her mafia boyfriend. rescued by Mace. Immature and bratty.

I read this story 2 years ago. And this review is based on a reread. Not one of this authors best stories. It was hard to really connect or like either main character. The cousin Gunnar seemed more likeable/believable. Hotness level was a 4 out of 5 so there's that.

Kyleigh finds herself in a bad spot after exposing her ex as a mafia member. A rescue from Mace, a former Navy Seal, finds her secluded at his house hiding out from the mafia. Although the mafia aspect is the basis for the story, the bigger part of the story focuses on the developing D/s relationship between Kyleigh and Mace. They quickly develop a routine of Kyleigh doing really, really dumb things and Mace punishing her for it. Overall it was an enjoyable story, but I do wish the story had focused a little more on the crime drama side. The mafia theme was definitely good, but seemed to come and go a little too easily.

Dark, spicy romance Dom/sub, Daddy/little relationship. There are good details on Mace's past - crime family connection, ex-Navy SEAL, successful, bossy. Kyleigh is feisty, rebellious, her mouth & actions get her into dangerous situations too many times. Her dialogue could use some variety. The writing style is sometimes abrupt and the title is spot on in it's simplicity - Mace is a hard Daddy who keeps Kyleigh on her toes with humiliation, punishment and pleasure. There are spankings and detailed intimacy. If you like the process of a Daddy training a hardheaded little give this a read. 3.5 stars

When an ex navy seal saves a woman. He crosses a line that could prove deadly to the ex hitman. Kyleigh is scared and mad when the huge man takes her. He might be saving her, but she doesn't even know him. Mace knows how to take care of a girl who won't mind. His hand and his belt should be plenty enough to make her see his way. Not. If you like rough, dirty discipline and hot sexy times, you will never go wrong by buying a book by Megan Michael's.

This book is heavy on BDSM, light on storylines. It depends on your test. If you're into BDSM, this book is certainly for you but if strong world building and characters' development is important to you, you're in for a disappointment. I am into both so I enjoyed the kink, discipline and punishment ( hence the four star review) but the story itself needs a lot of work.

Mace happens to see Kyleigh being threatened by a mobster. Mace happens to take care of business and takes Kyleigh home to keep her safe. His house, his rules. When she doesn't listen to what Mace is trying to tell her or achieve she gets spanked. He expects her to call him Daddy. There is domination, submission, spankings, and plenty of steam. Mace is an ex Navy Seal so he can't stand by when he sees someone going after Kyleigh. Kyleigh is very determined to escape from Mace. After all, she doesn't really know him and she was just attacked by another man. However, she is good at putting herself in danger. Can Mace save her when she keeps running away?

Hot from the start

This story grabs you from start and you don’t want to put it down. Mace a strong Ex Navy Seal and a very head strong dominant saves Kyleigh’s life one night. She learns the hard way and very sore way just how Dominant Mace can be. He is determined to keep her safe and hopefully in his life at all cost. Question is can Kyleigh handle Mace has her Daddy.

A classic

There are A lot of bad D/s stories out there - Megan Michaels is a skilled storyteller and writes with an an expertise on D/s better than almost anyone. The journey of submission is really explored in this story and the seriousness of being a Dominant. This is a great book.

Kyleigh definitely needs a Hard Daddy!!

Mace saves Kyleigh from a bad situation and then takes her to his house to keep her safe. She will test the boundaries and his patience when it comes to being a good strong Daddy Dom. This book includes very hot steamy scenes, humiliation and spankings. This is a great read and I highly recommend it!
