KISS THE EARTH is a collection of poetry, prose, and photography that explores the bliss of falling in love, perseverance through adversity, finding peace within one’s self, and reverence for all that this life has for us to experience.
Learn to love and KISS THE EARTH again, such as author, Neal Sehgal has learned to do.
Lost touch with your divine self? This collection speaks words directly to the soul, radiating love, joy, power, spirituality, and light.
Finally, a poetry book that matches the description! It IS inspiring! How? This collection encourages one, lifts you up, says kind words, and shares spiritual growth. I loved this.
Connect to yourself and regain confidence in the creation that you are!
Many of the poems had a rhyming stance that was eloquently done. At 209 pages (Kindle Version, E-book), the length was perfect! You definitely get a FULL collection here. I enjoyed the length of the poems as well.
The professional, high-quality resolution, black and white photographs were as beautiful as the poems themselves, correlating to the material perfectly.
Some of the poems had different shapes making my eyes dance across the pages. This was smart. The flow in its entirety is like swaying gently in a cozy hammock, enjoying the fluffy clouds passing by on the perfect breezy day. Words that come to mind when I think upon describing these poems: Soothing/Restorative
Calming and empowering is the tone, letting you know it's ok to forge your own path, these are all expressed with such love and kindness. The author was extremely successful with what he was trying to convey. His poetry was like a warm embrace around my heart. I'm a firm believer if you heal the heart wounds, you heal the mind, heal the body.
I cannot share my favorite poem because none of them were labeled individually. I like the simplicity of this but it also makes for tougher conversation. "Please refer to the beautiful poem on page..." That's how I'll have to discuss this, but that is literally my only complaint.
Images, sounds, style, flow, this one truly has it all!
I would be more than happy to showcase a physical copy on my bookshelf as well as take a look at his other two poetry books. For now, I'll re-read KISS THE EARTH on the Kindle app whenever I need to shine some light in and around my heart. Much gratitude to the publisher and author Neal Sehgal, for releasing early copies and to the Goodreads Giveaway Program, where I won the E-Book ARC. I was under no obligation to write a review, my honest opinion is freely given.
That is what reading most of the poems in "Kiss the Earth" was like for me, a nice, soft, somewhat sophomoric little verse which would have me kind of nodding along distractedly. Then I got to a last line, so drastically disconnected from what I thought the verse was about I could feel my brain emitting negative waves.
That's not what I believe poet Neal Sehgal intended.
The verses were broken up by photographs. I mean "images." Sehgal likes old broken stuff and dogs.
His photos are way better than any I could take. That's not saying much. I do really like one he took of a wrecked grand piano lying on its side, but mainly because I am curious about the story behind it.
I received this book free in exchange for an honest review on Goodreads.
This collection of poems, reminisces (Whitman meets Rilke meets Rumi meets Roethke?) reads like a reckoning with the world. Fluid, sensual, yet filled with longing, it teases out the essences of existence including regular references to nature such that it could even be considered “nature poetry”, and owing to how disconnected newer works seem to be from nature, even narcissistic, the bastard literary children of an overly urbanized, overly cyber-ized society, I found his references to nature beautiful and soothing. I cannot think of another poem that uses as its touchstone, a planarian. I also loved the effect of the photographs juxtaposed against the words.
“Bewildering wilderness...”
“You will begin again from the beginning for the very last time...”
“A thunder born from the quiet...”
“He sang in shapes, she listened in colors...”
“Kiss Me,” said the sky.
Mediocre minds will always spit malice in the face of your greatness—because they have failed themselves.
A poem of lovers, one is the wave cashing into the other, the sand.
This is a haunting, lovely collection of writings definitely worth a read, maybe to keep by your bedside.
I got this book for free during a giveaway but here’s my 100% honest review.
As soon as I started this book, I was absolutely indescribably blown away simply by its magic. This is a fantastic collection of poetry. Written meticulously and incredibly beautifully. I loved it so much. It also included some random photographs which were nice but unrelated to the poem it was near. I think I would enjoy them more if they were separate and the second or first half of the book. That’s my only minor complaint but I really recommend everyone reads this. I do want to buy a physical copy (because I loved it so much). Perhaps when this quarantine is over and I have income. I sent a few of my favorite poems from the book to my best friend and have convinced her into getting a copy. Which convincing is too strong because she read the poems and loved them too.
I won a signed copy of this amazing book and I cannot speak highly enough of it. 2020 has been a dumpster fire and finding joy and a semblance of peace in my life has been a struggle. However, this book came just when I needed it. It is beautiful and insightful in its simplicity. Some poems and musings were short while others were more detailed. Yet, they all were powerful. They spoke to my soul and reminded me that not all is lost in the world. They resonated with me and I felt connected with them because they felt as if they had been written to me or about me directly. Therein lies the power of this collection because it is a prime example of how magical it is to find oneself lost between the pages of a book.
I will definitely be looking for more from this author in the future.
I received a free copy of this book through a giveaway hosted on Goodreads.
Kiss the Earth is beautiful. There’s no two ways about it. It combines all the good parts of an insightful fortune cookie, a self-help book, a friend’s advice, and a well-taught English class, all wrapped up into a collection of verses, then broken up by photographs worth their own share of lyrics on their own to give the reader the chance to breath and reflect. From the first page, I found myself not just reading the words, but mouthing them under my breath, really trying to absorb them. Individually, each verse is a message unto itself, giving the reader a tidbit on how to live a better, happier, and more loving life. Together, however, the collection is like a song or a story, coming together to engulf the reader. I want to buy multiple copies of it, some to give away to people who will enjoy it, some to write notes in or to bookmark for later, and one more to be left in pristine condition, as it has the potential to be a classic, should fate serve it well. For now, though, I am content just having it on my Kindle to be read again another time, when I need to take a step back from life for a few moments and reground myself.
Kiss the Earth, made my heart ache... this book is so unique with its words and images it made me think and reflect so much that at several times I had “oh wow” moments and moments where I would almost break down crying. It has a very cozy and mysterious feel to it which I liked. Having the images in black and white was interesting and some of the images I didn’t understand why they were in there but it didn’t matter that I didn’t know why. Neal put them in there for a reason that only he knows.
Although I wish there was more color to the images, it was still such a lovely book that I finished in a few sittings. I won this book in a giveaway and Neal signed it which has me so excited! I’m so happy that I got a chance to read this book it is so special I’m so many ways I don’t even know how to explain it. Basically just read this book. You won’t regret it!
I am not always into poetry, but this collection I truly enjoyed. Seghal brings nature, calmness, and spirituality to his poems. He writes simply, but exquisitely. Vulnerable yet empowering, Mr. Seghal leads the reader to love, self-awareness, and thoughtfulness. I could only read a few poems at a time. I felt myself wanting time to reflect on those that impacted me most. The poems, mixed with some photographs, were short, easy to read, and lovely. If you are looking for something to meditate on, this collection may be for you.

For many, it’s a ticket to reputation, tools, and trust in the developer community. Buying a GitHub account, while not always discussed openly, comes with several practical reasons—some obvious, some less so. Here’s a look at the key motivations and who these buyers often are. Instant Access to Verification and Trust Some freelancers and agencies want to skip the long process of building a verified, established profile. An aged GitHub account with commit history and followers can give clients instant trust. It tells people, “This developer has been around a while,” even if that’s not truly the case behind the scenes. • Quick trust: Old profiles look more legit to clients. • Heavier impact: Projects with long histories can help win bids. • Avoid suspicion: New accounts can raise questions for clients, especially on big jobs. Bypassing Manual Verification Setting up a new GitHub profile means waiting through identity checks, phone verification, and other steps. Some buyers want to bypass these hurdles, especially if they need multiple accounts for automation or testing. • Skip the waits: Get past GitHub’s checks and unlock more features right away. • Multiple accounts: Useful when managing several projects without using personal email each time. Access to Developer Tools and Features Certain GitHub features are limited to older or more active accounts. For example, some developer tools, invites, or access to beta features may require more history or a “trusted” user status. People buy accounts to get these tools without waiting months. • Advanced repos: Unlock private repositories or Actions sooner. • Integrations: Instant access to third-party tools that need established profiles. Save Time for Companies and Teams Agencies, startups, and marketing firms may choose to buy GitHub accounts to speed up onboarding. It lets new team members hit the ground running, especially on time-sensitive projects or when handling multiple client jobs. • Ready-made for hiring: No need to set up from scratch. • Quick project setups: Start collaborating on existing repositories faster. Who Typically Buys GitHub Accounts? There are a few groups who grab most of the market: • Freelancers: Eager to impress clients or avoid job hurdles. • Agencies/Companies: Need instant assets for team members or clients. • Developers and marketers: Want to automate tasks, boost reputation, or test software under different profiles. How GitHub Enhances Productivity GitHub boosts developer productivity through several means: • Code reuse: Share and reuse code across projects. • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation within the repository. • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Streamline development and deployment processes. Buying a GitHub account isn’t just about having a profile. It’s about jumping ahead, saving time, and getting what you need now without the usual wait or effort. Understanding these motivations helps you see why this practice has a growing audience, even in a world where trust matters more than ever. Risks and Legal Considerations When Buying GitHub Accounts Buying a GitHub account sounds simple, but it can turn risky fast if you’re not careful. There are legal gray areas, hidden scams, and possible long-term headaches. If you’re thinking about getting an account this way, it’s smart to understand the risks before you hand over your money. Security Dangers and Personal Data Risks Transferring a GitHub account usually means sharing a real person’s credentials. You never know if someone kept a copy of those details or if the password is truly private now. Security issues pop up, including: • Password theft: The original owner may still have access and could recover the account later. • Personal data leaks: Accounts may link to real names, photos, or even private projects that expose sensitive info. • Malware risks: Some sellers add harmful files to repositories to infect your device. Small mistakes in security can open the door to bigger problems, even beyond GitHub itself. Breaking GitHub’s Terms of Service Buying or selling accounts goes against GitHub’s rules. They have strict {https://pvausasmmbiz.com/} terms that ban transferring accounts between people. If GitHub finds out, they may: • Ban or suspend your account with no warning or appeal. • Delete repositories or block your email from new signups. • Blacklist your IP address so you can’t register from the same device again. Even if you use a trusted seller and the account survives at first, it’s always at risk of being flagged by GitHub later. Falling for Scams Pvausasmmbiz The market for GitHub accounts is full of shady offers, fake promises, and straight-up scams. Watch out for: • Non-delivery scams: You send payment and never get the login info. • Mismatched account details: The profile you see in ads may not match the one you receive. • Phishing attempts: Some sellers design traps to steal your money, identity, or more. Scams aren’t rare—they’re common. Low prices or urgent deals can be red flags. Long-term Consequences Even if the deal looks good now, problems might show up later. These headaches include: • Loss of your projects: If your bought account is banned down the road, all your work tied to it vanishes. • Damaged reputation: Having your account flagged or banned can make you look suspicious to clients, employers, or teammates. • No support: If something goes wrong, GitHub support will not help with bought accounts—they see these transactions as rule-breaking. Is it worth risking your future work for a shortcut today? Checking Seller Reputation Don’t skip due diligence. Before you buy, you should {https://pvausasmmbiz.com/} : • Look up the seller on forums or review sites {https://pvausasmmbiz.com/} . Other buyers’ feedback is the best clue about safety. • Ask for proof: real screenshots, plenty of history, and full account details. • Avoid sellers who use only anonymous payment options or rush you into buying. A reputable seller is more likely to keep their promises, but there’s always some risk when trading in accounts against platform rules. Buying a GitHub account brings both quick wins and real dangers. Thinking ahead—and knowing what to watch for—can help you stay safe and avoid losing more than you gain. Portfolio and Career Development Your GitHub account serves as a living resume for software roles. • Project Showcase: Employers can see real code you’ve written, not just descriptions on a résumé. • Proof of Growth: The evolution of your coding style and the complexity of projects over time shows learning and adaptability. • Recruiter Insights: Many technical recruiters look at GitHub to assess coding habits, language familiarity, and contributions to open source. Historical Context and Knowledge Retention Older repositories document the problems you’ve solved and the approaches you used. • Personal Reference: Revisit past solutions, scripts, or patterns to reuse in current work. • Team History: In collaborative repos, you can track how decisions were made and understand legacy code. Networking and Community Recognition A rich history can organically grow your developer network. • Open Source Contribution History: Being involved in well-known projects can lead to invitations for new collaborations or jobs. • Visibility: Long-standing contributions can get noticed, especially if issues, PRs, or repos remain active. Contribution Graph and GitHub Achievements While somewhat superficial, the green squares on the contribution graph do matter. • Visual Commitment: Hiring managers and dev leads often glance at these graphs. • Gamified Incentive: Helps you stay consistent and motivated over the years. Security and Trust in Open Source GitHub attaches reputation to accounts, which matters when publishing packages or tools. • Package Maintainers: A well-established identity makes people more likely to trust the software you release. • Less Likely to Be Mistaken for Spam or Malicious Code: Aged accounts with clean records are more trusted by automation and moderation tools. Who Can Benefit from Buying a GitHub Account from PVA USA SMM Biz.com? Buying a GitHub account from a third-party provider like “PVA USA SMM Biz.com” raises serious ethical, legal, and security concerns, and is not recommended. However, if you’re asking hypothetically who might seek such services (despite the risks), here are the potential motivations — though not endorsements: Not Legitimate Use Cases (High-Risk/Against GitHub Terms): 1. Spammers & Scammers: • May use purchased GitHub accounts to push malicious code, phishing links, or scams. • An aged or verified account can make their content seem more trustworthy. 2. Black Hat Developers or Hackers: • May want a disposable or “clean” account for hosting or distributing questionable code without tying it to their identity. 3. SEO Manipulators: • Use GitHub profiles with good standing to drop backlinks, host spammy repositories, or link to other black-hat SEO operations. 4. Bypassers of Bans or Rate Limits: • Developers or organizations who have been banned or rate-limited by GitHub might buy accounts to circumvent these restrictions. Why This Is a Bad Idea: • Violates GitHub’s Terms of Service: Purchasing or selling accounts is against GitHub policy and can lead to permanent bans. • Security Risks: Purchased accounts may be compromised or resold, exposing your projects or data. • Reputation Damage: If caught, it can damage your or your business’s credibility. • Legal Trouble: Could lead to liability if the account is tied to fraudulent or malicious activity. Legitimate Alternatives: If someone needs: • A GitHub account: Create one for free at github.com/join. • A professional GitHub presence: Build it organically through contributions, proper setup, and engagement. • A verified or aged profile: Earn credibility by contributing to open-source projects and maintaining clean, consistent activity. “we are all birds in a cage with the latch unfastened”
In eleven words, Sehgal tells a story of forgotten freedom--- of the fear that sits alongside the longing.
Kiss The Earth by Neal Sehgal is spiritual. These prayers in the form of poetry are a beckoning to readers to recall certain unwavering truths. Both the barely-there and the jarring truths of the human condition and the world that embraces it. There is a hopefulness embedded into these poems that extends the invitation to dream again, love again, and watch ourselves through the eyes of the divine--- as the divine would have us to.
Sehgal reminds us of our own resilience, describing grief as necessary and cyclical as a function of nature reviving itself again and again. He likens tears to raindrops and heartbreak to the splitting of soil and asks us to consider returning to the source, just as all things that grow tend to do.
This book tells resonating stories of love as redemption, the necessity of compassion--- towards ourselves and our planet and applies the salve just the way poetry is supposed to.
This poetry book is a great compilation of emotions, feelings, every day events, special experiences, etc. the book flows well. The poetry Is easy to read and speaks to you, if you listen. Unfortunately, for me, I needed a dictionary throughout as there were words I had never seen before. My weakness - not the author’s.
I did not connect with some of the writing. Not sure rescuing a worm drying In The sun and I could ever rollicking in a field together. But there were phrases that were so wonderful. “To be heard without making a sound”; “I want to meet you for the first time again”; “the story of our journey begins here”. Just lovely phrasing.
If you enjoy poetry, try this one. You won’t be disappointed.
Thank you to the author for allowing me to enjoy this book through the Goodreads giveaway program.
I received this from a Goodreads giveaway in 2020, courtesy of the author ^_^ It’s even signed.
Short little poetry books work wonders for boosting your book count when you’re scrambling to meet your reading goal on the last day of the year 😅
Rating poetry is a lot harder than rating/reviewing a novel. All those individual poems vs one plot. It makes it tedious when you want to rate it fairly. That being said, not every poem is meant for every reader. Some resonate strongly with you while others are nice but there’s a disconnect.
Of the poems in this compilation, there were quite a few I loved and that struck a cord with me. Others I liked well enough, and still others were just not meant for me personally. So taking all of that into consideration I think my rating is fair.
I definitely think this slim volume is worth picking up. It is enjoyable and relatable.
This is real poetry. Beautiful, vulnerable, and honest. This book expresses a spiritual depth rare to find with most creative writings these days. Visually captivating, each page draws you in and beckons the reader to feel more deeply. Each section works almost like chapters moving through thematic ideas in its seamless flow while simultaneously working together as one collective piece. This is an outstanding feat to accomplish. Sehgal also exhibits a mastery of language with the myriad notable instances of lyrical word choice, esoteric allusions, sensory imagery, metaphor and internal rhyme. Experimental in form and features, there is a visceral thrill to witness in this journey as well. A poetic triumph best appreciated by the self-reflective reader. 5 stars. Most highly recommended.
“Mapping out the journey from where we are to where we need to be”
Kiss the Earth, as all of Mr. Sehgal’s writings, is part work of beauty, part meditative guide book. The theme of his latest work- what I took away from it- was simply living and being receptive to the wealth of input that brings. It is arrived at through the usual observation and contemplation of the world around us done in the author’s beautiful poetic style.
I am not someone who sits and meditates. Every day chaos and time restraints prevent that. I look forward to the reflections of Sehgal; his books are small collections of epiphanies that would otherwise be lost to me.
I received this in a Goodreads giveaway! 3.5 stars
I appreciate what Sehgal is doing with this book of photos and poems. The themes are mostly uplifting and he has a way of boiling some deep truths into succinct nuggets. The yogic influence is noticeable and I appreciated that myself, but maybe not everyone will. I most liked the poems that I personally needed and certain lines or while poems took me aback because of their ability to say something I felt to be true. To be honest, however, I found other poems or lines to be cheesy and bordering on cliche — but again, they may really hit the nail on the head for someone else. This is a book with a few gems that my yogi/spiritual friends may enjoy and others may not.
I liked the beautiful photos, although they seemed unrelated to the poems. They are very crisp, detailed, professional and intriguing. The text flowed into soothing shapes on the page. The poems are relaxing to read, soothing and beautiful. Calming, encouraging, uplifting, powerful and healing. I was fine with the book length. I don't read poetry often but the few books I have read it did seem longer in comparison.
There are a few areas that need improvement, which I'll describe...I had an electronic version, so I didn't like that it wouldn't even work on my regular kindle, and was only readable on my phone. With the format being locked as well, I was a bit annoyed that I couldn't highlight passages I liked either. I wished the poems had titles, it was almost like reading a poem in story format. The titles would be helpful to reference, to share etc...
With everything going on in the world, it's nice to have something beautiful to escape in. Something to remind you of all the beauty that exists in the world and inside us.
**Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest unbiased review**Free media does not affect my review.**
A profound piece of writing sure to imbue its readers with a measure of compassion and awakening. Some poems are longer than others, but each word is well chosen and each poem is succinct in the delivery of its message. Sometimes pensive and melancholy. Other times hopeful and uplifting. But always full of heart, honesty, and integrity - each tied by the common thematic thread of gratitude. Accessible writing if you are willing to reach for it, and the payoff if one does is will be extraordinary. Worth reading, rereading, and sharing it with a friend.
It is honest, personal, and unveiling expression - simple and true. Very much taken by the author's exemplary command of writing craft and ability to express the complexities of human emotions. Pages flow into each other yet each still remains distinct. I like how the author didn't just dole out pop self-help advice (too much of that these days) but rather expressed himself in observation and feeling. An extremely unique book in all of these ways. So happy to have stumbled upon it, and now I want to kiss the earth: )
Kiss the Earth is a beautiful collection of poetry and photographs depicting the passage of life. Unfortunately, poetry is very subjective and hard to adequately rate if it does not appeal to your style. If it touches you in a meaningful way then it is good. For my personal tastes I found the language very forced in places that distracted me from the overall journey that’s meant to be taken while reading this book.
Disclaimer: I received this book as part of a GoodReads giveaway, but the thoughts and opinions are my own.
I received this Kindle Edition in a Goodreads giveaway. Neal Sehgal posts a photo and then writes poetry interpreting the photo. He has some great imagery in his poems. "Beach's breeze brought to me." "Traipsing hues of purple and blue."
I found several passages inspiring. " The saddest part about our dream is that we loved them so deeply, but sometimes they do not love us back." "To fall in love with another who actually deserves your love now that's a star worth catching. "
I really enjoyed this collection. Thank you for sharing.
This is one of those books that you'll want to read slowly. The beautiful poetry found within these pages will permeate your being in a deep and profound way. I found myself wondering if perhaps the author had access to my innermost thoughts, and secrets. Each poem resonated with me on a soul level. I experienced a myriad of emotions as I read each page. As I reached the end, I felt inspired + connected. This is a beautiful collection of poetry, a great addition to add to your collection.
This book is a beautifully arranged journey of thoughts and feelings that inspire and invigorate. Every word and image massages a different part of your heart, mind, and soul and reminds us to be grateful for all of our experiences whether sour or sweet and for all of our companions whether they can or cannot speak. A must have for poetry and photography lovers alike or for anyone just seeking inspiration and new insight!
GoodReads win - Received in exchange for a review.
What a beautiful book. Subtle, moving, and amazing to sink in to and savor. I resonated with much of it, and even the ones that didn't made me stop and appreciate them. Lovely pictures, the book is in paperback, and I believe self-published? It would have been interesting if the pictures could have been in color.
Juxtaposing beautiful images with the words, the author provides readers of this book with a meaningful, pensive, and awakening experience. Whether you are deep in love, trying to recover, aiming to discover, or wanting to revel in the softer parts of oneself, this work of art is sure to enrich and inspire.
I thought the writing was thoughtful and intriguing beautiful and lyrical but there were ones that were too long or that I got lost when j was reading but there were still little gems there was a lot of repetition but it was still good and o enjoyed the quick read
