Where do I even begin?!!! Lawd, the struggle was real with Her Naughty Suitor. This book was absolutely horrible. The writing was trash. SNN unnecessarily did the most with the dialogue. This book read like a bad 1865 regency historical romance novel. It was corny as hell and riddled with a ton of unnecessary and ridiculous verbiage. Want an example? Here you go, "I had my first orgasm from the immersed flick of his tongue. It was the wildest burst of heat I've ever felt in my life." What?!!! I'm sorry but, this is not something we as black women would ever say. This book was filled from beginning to end with stupid dialogue like this and it just made it hard to enjoy the book. I couldn't really connect with Eden and Derek because of the dialogue. It was a huge deterrent to the enjoyment of this book. The conflict between Eden and Derek seemed manufactured and fake. I thought Eden blew the entire situation out of proportion. I agreed with Derek. There was nothing to tell until there was something to actually tell. I really wished the author would've let one of the girls get married before she lost her virginity. This was a promise they made to themselves and I just wished she would've let them and the guys honor it. There was plenty they could've done sexually without actually having sex before marriage. Speaking of virginity, lets talk about how Eden lost her virginity. Why are these women losing their virginity everywhere but a bed?!!! London lost her virginity in a hot tub, Phoebe lost her virginity against a wall, and Eden lost her virginity in the bathtub. Why is there never a bed around when a female character loses her virginity?!!! I just don't get it. Her Naughty Suitor was not a good book at all. If it weren't apart of the series, I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.

My Rationalization:

Here is another good series Falling For A Rose Book 10 in "Her Naughty Suitor" by this author. It was great seeing how these two Derek and Eden were able to finally solve their problems through communication. Be ready for lots of intense drama and oh my goodness some hot steamy sex scenes that will definitely keep your attention.

I was about to leave a not so nice review of you had not mentioned a novella of the triplets wedding. So her goes, yesssssssssssss, loved how you placed Eden and Derek away from everyone so they could discover their love for each other in Bali. How romantic. Eden giving herself to him, he opening his heart to her. Beautiful. That part you put in about the Clark's father and mother was an eye opener as well. I'm seeing this play out in the Clark brother stories... Hint Awesome book.

Eden Alexandria Rose is a well-known designer and is a triplet in one of the wealthiest families in Chicago, and real estate mogul, Derek James Clark. The attraction between these two has been going on for a while and after one steamy night at her Eden family Christmas party Derek decide to put distance between them without giving Eden a heads up.
 
If you read “On The Naughty List” this book picks up some time after Christmas. Eden has come to the conclusion that it was time to move on with her life and not sitting around waiting for Derek to make move, and as she begins to slowly try to forget him, until she had to come face to face with him again.  Eden realize that he progresses she made has just went out the window. Derek is a TALL DARK DRINK OF WATER; this man commands the room when he walks in. In the time he put distance between him and Eden with the notion of putting her out of his mind he realizes that wasn’t possible.  Derek was working a broken heart something that happen in college and he put up a wall around his heart, so it wouldn’t get broken again. Derek had miss Eden and he knew he had hurt so.
 
Once he come to term that he can’t and wouldn’t live without Eden he did everything in his power to convince Eden to give them another chance.
You will have to purchase the book to find out what happen, but I will say this the pool, shower and the beach scene was HOT HOT HOT……………………
 
I do recommend this book, you will not be disappointed.

Questionable Love

I knew I'd love Eden the most out of the Rose Triplets; she touched my heart as expected. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about Derek, but he grew on me as the book went on. He's still not my favorite guy, yet given his upbringing with that treacherous man for a father, he gets a pass🙄.

Eden had a big heart, a quiet spirit yet she held her own which I loved. Given how wishy washy Derek was with her and how much she loved him from jump, I'm glad she guarded her heart; let him grovel honey, lol.

Derek had a lot to get over, given his past heart break from a previous relationship and his father basically telling him love ain't nothing, yet I was glad he decided to step up bc Eden was about to step out and move on, as she should. The whole situation with his ex was unexpected; had my mouth WIDE open; good one Mrs. Norris 😉.

When Eden had this man weeping at the door, I knew she'd give in; hell I would've. Especially after how he ravished her body in Bali; yep, I'd opened that door and get my man😏.

I cannot WAIT for this triple wedding in the next book. I'm ready for Carla and Jacob tbh, yet I'll wait just a bit longer. I hope the twins of Jonas & Samiya show up in the next book; or better yet, that someone else is pregnant... How exciting.

I can't decide if Samiyah, Santana or Eden has been my fav to read about so far. I'm thinking Carla is about to take 1st place🤔. But first, these weddings.

Derek and Eden! Wow! Just...wow! After getting a glimpse of them in On the Naughty List, I couldn't wait for their whole story. Ms. Norris definitely has a talent for writing sexy and sweet characters with so much chemistry, kindles catch on FIRE!!🔥🔥 Derek and Eden had it in spades! What a beautiful and sexy couple! **fans myself**

Derek, oh, Derek! He had his heart broken before, and his father with his terrible advice didn't help matters at all. But he finally came to his senses and was not above pleading with his woman for a second chance. Derek and Eden both had vulnerabilities about them that pierced my heart. The more I read, the more fearful I became that something, or someone would shatter their blissful world. I was hanging on every word of this book with bated breath to make sure nothing would stop them from being together. Thanks to Ms. Norris, I was truly invested in this couple.💜💜

I also loved the relationship between Eden and her sisters, and between Derek and his brothers and their friends. They always looked out for each other, had each other's back, and offered a lot of really good advice. But the crazy friend, Claudia is a mess! She was hilarious! 😂😂

I really loved this story, but (again🙄) the proofreading/editing needs work. I'm so torn because these stories are so, so good! Ooh! The more I read her books, the more I fall in love with this romance world Ms. Norris has created! I almost forget about the ridiculous errors...almost!😂😂 Just please, please, get a good proofreader and editor! I would easily give these stories 10+++ stars if I could, but I had to deduct for the grammatical/editing errors! Love you though, Ms. Norris!🥰😘💜💜

This was a DNF for me. I try very hard not to have DNF's, especially for books I paid for. I even tried the audiobook. I liked the female narrator. She is one of my go to narrators. The male narrator is kind of hit or miss for me. Had I not already paid for the book, I wouldn't have stayed with it as long as I did. The audio version made it no better.

What century were we in with the dialogue? I stopped reading another writer for a similar reason. I thought this was contemporary romance. We have people's sanctums and sanctuaries being pummeled. Uhmm, Excuse me? Then there was the heat seeking missile and ballooning girth....say what?

This type of dialogue or language may be appealing to some readers, but it sounded ridiculous to me. For a book published as recently as it was published, I was really surprised. It took me out of the story so much, I didn't remember the plot. Let's not forget how Eden seemed to behave more like she was in high school than as an adult woman.

My enjoyment of this author is hit or miss. This was definitely a miss. I think.I left Derek and Eden in a bathtub. Hopefully they won't drown. I am sure somehow they will end up with their HEA, and probably a triplet wedding. I will never know.

Another fantastic read by Stephanie Nicole Norris . I must mention , that I have been waiting on Derek story since book 5 and it was well worth it ! Big applause Mrs Norris every scene , every conversation was well executed with such a profound detail difficult time in putting it down . However I did put it down many many times because I just didn't want to come to the end .
I hard starting what I like about this read without giving away any spoilers . However I 'll say this !

Imagine you love a man since you were 18 . Unknowing to him that he holds your whole heart while you wait and observe on the sidelines hoping that one day he would see you as the one true love for him . Name Eden Alexandria Rose .
That's the back story of Eden and Derek a love started about twelve years ago and shine so brightly in what we were gifted in The Naughty Suitor . Buy and enjoy this steamy highly charged emotional read. And if you what to read a little of their introduction check out book 7 . Mine .

I've listened to a number of SNN books and ... I just ...
She writes a compelling story and well developed characters but man is the writing just ...
the vocabulary is terrible. >.<

Where is her editor. Editors?

It's SO MUCH of "that word literally is the opposite" that it's really distracting and kinda a cult entertainment thing.

I had thought I was caught up on the Rose romances but I don't think so/I get some of the series mixed up especially since they're so entwined?

But anyway Eden and Derek are definitely a power couple and it was nice that they'd grown up friends. Her uncertainty about him ... his about hers, TBH. They just weren't sure enough to say "I love you" and each of them needed the words.

:X TBH I listened to it twice cuz I was doing other stuff on my phone and it was easier to just swipe up and hit "play" instead of switching apps.

I don't know that I can rate this book ... Argh.

I did like that Derek listened to what his dad had to say - but was definitely his own man. When he bought the ring and went to where he did I was like "!!!!!!!" but phew.

I did listen to the audio, can someone who read it let me know if the audio differs from the written? Because nothing made any sense?

Yes I know that I've only read this one in the series. Usually that isn't an issue with romance series and I also didn't realise that it was number 10 because my audioapp was not clear on it.

Let me also say that I have been convinced to try another book by the author and will hopefully get to that eventually, because I've heard that other of the authors books will fit my taste better.

My short thoughts:
* Flow of the writing, nope.
* Communication between the couple, nope.
* Chemistry between the couple, nope.
* They were supposed to have been friends before? Where is the trust?
* Conflict at the end, why, also, why is he acting this way? WHY?

Lawd have mercy!!! This book took me out!! The scenes were amazing!!! I fully enjoy this book, I really do try my best to take my time to read but I can never commit because these story won’t let me.

I actually enjoy the scene with the past colliding with the future.. I was hoping it developed more, but it was still great!

OMG this was the best ever Derek and Eden his Mona Lisa I love love this story ❤️💙💙 the chemistry between these two...and how he took care of her....and loved her ...the protector ....gentleness ....this had me in my feeling so romantic and the soundtrack of the songs fit the story 💕 I listened to playlist when I'm riding to work you are the best ever Stephanie Norris.. can't wait for these other Clark brothers and wedding of the century triplets wedding...

Naughty & Hot

MY,My,My. Eden being the last of the Rose triplets to conquer her man’s hearth and me concerned. Was she going to give Derek another chance or would she walk away. Then Derek was tormenting himself because he was fearful of getting his heart broken. When those two agree to take a trip to Bali for a Client...all I can say is that was some hot naughty behavior.
Think finally things are back on track. Not going to be that easy This story has its share of drama. So enjoy 😅

Her Naughty Suitor is the story of Eden Alexandria Rose and Derrick James Clark. I was thoroughly irritated by Eden many times throughout this book. I believe the irritation stemmed from her indecisiveness and denying herself of the very thing she wanted from the only person she wanted it from. Of course, Derrick was not blameless, his actions and inability to be forthright with Eden made their relationship more complicated than it needed to be. Overall, I enjoyed the book but I don't think the title fit the story.

Author Stephanie Norris does it again with another great Rose installment. Eden didn’t stand a chance with the swagger and determination of Derek James Clark. Too good

Man what can I say. Every time a Stephanie releases a book I know it is going to be good. This one did not disappoint. I love the fact that each book takes you to a different place and the details in the writing. It’s like you are there and experiencing everything with the couple. Derek and Eden finally got their happiness and Andy well deserved. Keep the books coming!!!

Yes yes yes

It was so good!!! There were times when I was frustrated with the pair but then I got all hot and bothered. It was a great story and it was almost as if it just continued from the Christmas story. Mrs. Norris took then same energy and made it into a book that did not disappoint. The writing was so well done I felt like I was watching a movie. I can’t wait for the wedding and Jacob and Clara’s story!!!

Worth the Wait

Another Hit out the ballpark. Thank you Stephanie for staying true to our artistic form and making our reading experience thoroughly enjoyable. Eden and Quentin story by far has had the most heat. And Bali is on my list of vacation spots. Naughty is a nice word for what Quentin was doing with Eden. Girl I almost jumped on my husband in his sleep lol. Keep writing and I ready for the next book. So don't play with my life go ahead and serve it up.

Smoking Hot Story

This story was so amazing filled with much passion and Derek and Eden's yearning for each other. Their love story was very deep and they had a very strong emotional connection to each other. Hot 🔥 and spicy!

Eden and Derek's story was a great read! I almost thought they would separate but was so glad they didn't! Derek was truly a alpha male but to see him so broken, it tugged at my heart strings. Eden was a runner but he sure shut that down! Overall just a beautiful love story! The wedding of the triplets promises to be a grand event, Rose style and I look forward to reading it! Another great read Steph! Keep them coming!

Hot read

Hot and bothered ain't the word for Derrick book that puts you in a coma right quick and you don't know what happened to yourself. That's that forever love he was giving Eden and marking his territory all over her. Love their story from start to finish it was indeed a love story that ended beautifully. He took very good care of her knowing she was a virgin. Another great rose book as always.

Oh My Goodness!

Ms. Norris has done it again! Derrick Clark is hot beyond belief and I didn’t think she would be able to top any of her other books but I’m clutching pearls🤣. I will say this have a fresh pair of undies and maybe pants 😛 at your disposal because the wetness factor generated by Eden and Derrick is off the scale. For all fans of the “Falling for a Rose” series Ms. Norris is going out with a Bang with the last of the ladies! Bring on them Clark brothers😁😉

Derek James Clark and Eden Alexandria Rose were a match. Eden was determined to get over her feelings for Derek but once Derek realized his need for Eden, he was on a mission to keep her in his life at all costs.

Loved the storyline and thoroughly enjoyed the book. Readers will at times emphasize with both these characters and at times was to smack Derek for some of his actions.

Absolutely Amazing!

This is by far one of the best Rose books in the series. I love the passion, the feelings and sounds that binds Derrick's and Eden's love together as one, I mean the description of his passion for her has my libido off the chain. I mean phew. His display of affection that he shows Eden everyday and vise is so intense, that I felt this was my relationship. Lol! It's just awesome how he compliments her everyday. What -a -Man! Great Read!
