Rate this book
For years, Rowan Gray has been searching for answers. She’s finally going to get them.

The group of people haunting her, the society that ripped her family apart, are due to arrive on The Bounding Storm … and nobody believes their goals are altruistic. That’s only proven true when death visits The Bounding Storm in their wake, leaving a mountain of questions and not enough answers.

Who are these people?
What do they want?

Quinn Davenport, head of security and Rowan’s boyfriend, is determined to figure out their plan, fight the effort, and eradicate the shadow that’s hanging over the future he plans on sharing with Rowan. They’re going to stand and fight together, no matter the outcome. To carry out the mission, they’re going to need a little help.

Rowan’s father and uncle board the ship in an undercover capacity, so it’s all hands on deck for the final ride. Before it’s over, Rowan will know the truth … and come face to face with an enemy she didn’t see coming.

This is the end, but it could lead to a new beginning.

Well now that was a freaking awesome ending, seriously I am flabbergasted with that story, the twists and turns gave me awesome whiplash...lol

But the very, very end was just perfect, Quinn is an absolute keeper...

Sally had it right...lol Rowan's uncle got all the crazy in the family gene's thank goodness. I really did wonder how Lily Harper Hart was going to finish this series off and wow it was with a huge bang, luckily not a literal bang. Raging Seas had so many threads to tie of with added twists and turns it was exciting, exhilarating and just damn enjoyable to read.

Entertaining Paranormal cozy mystery series

This is an entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. A fun cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. Rowen Gray is a young woman who has a unique ability to see omens in her photographs. She was a professional photographer at one time was a photo journalist for Detroit area newspaper. Due to newspapers losing money they laid off most of their photojournalists and Rowen had to go find a new job. She found a job as a head photographer on a cruise ship. Chanel cruises out of Florida on a cruise ship with her boyfriend Quinn head of security. Taking photos of the guests on the cruise ship. Occasionally she sees omens in her photographs and tries to defuse the situation with the help of Quinn and other friends on the ship. Read out and see where this adventure leads this time. Always entertaining always a fun read. Check it out

Bounding Promise

As Quinn and Rowan prepare for a new voyage three late additions to the passenger list attract Quinn's attention. The Phoenix Society are going to be onboard and it's time for a confrontation.

Paul and Nick are ready to flee with Rowan and want Quinn to join them but the couple are determined to end the threat hanging over Rowan and give Paul back his life. To that end, using Nick's wreck salvage company as a cover, they add a crack team of ex Navy Seals headed up by Fred.

The Phoenix Society team is headed by Leon Spencer, who claims to be a lawyer on a corporate trip with two accountants, Darcy and Julia. From the off the two women seem to be playing Rowan and she's struggling to handle it without showing her hand. This gets worse when a body appears that bears a striking resemblance to her. Rowan heads to her room and breaks down when Darcy appears to be casually discussing her own photography skills and just happens to ask for her opinion on a photograph she's taken herself.. it's of Rowan and Quinn and the omen is clear and present.

Conflicted in multiple ways, it's tearing Rowan apart, her own photos show that she's the one in danger and she's desperate to protect Quinn but there's something about Darcy that Rowan wants to trust, while she's now questioning her feelings about Michael as he appears to be not just friends with but helping Leon draw them into a net.

Everyone is on tenterhooks waiting for the final play to be made, more blood will be shed, a ransom demand made and met but who will be standing on the right side of the line at the end? Will Paul gain his freedom from fear? Will the price Rowan pays be too high? Will Quinn even get a chance to put a ring on it?!

Bank on this author!

Rowan and Quinn are such a charming couple; she's a little bit paranormal, and he's a little bit alpha male.. Quinn doesn't try to control her like a child, and Rowan concedes to common sense appropriately, which makes them an unusual couple for the genre! Quinn's gift is unusual and imaginative and provides a surprising twist during the murder investigation. Hidden relations, watched watchers, lunacy, and unexpected support are only a small part of this engagingly intricate mystery. I enjoyed this more than I expected; I've never read this series and was using this story as a prelude to Maddie's and Nick's honeymoon. Should have known from her other three fab series that Ms. Hart wouldn't let me down!

A little rushed I think

It absolutely sucks that the series was cut short cuz it was one of my favorites. The ending felt a little rushed all things considered but the proposal scene made me smile. I really enjoyed Rowan and Quinn's series and I'm going to miss reading about them.

Series finale

I loved this book, it was one of the best. Love this series and sad to see it go. We get closure with the Phoenix Society, her dad and Quinn. I wish there was an epilogue, but I'm happy with the ending.
Lots of twists and turns in this book as the team comes together to protect Rowan from her biggest threat yet.

Fast moving mystery.

Can Rowan and Quinn outwit the Phoenix Society?

Why was a woman with auburn hair found dead?

Is Darcy warning Rowan or threatening her?

Can Michael really be involved with the criminals?

And will Rowan and Quinn finally be able to start their happily-ever-after?

Read it and find out.

Might Be Hart’s Best!

This satisfied on so many levels I simply do not have the words for it. Tense, frightening, surprises galore. I have two wishes: more in the series, and for our favorite bartender to be included in the secret. Might be nice for Brimstone and Sally to find significant others, maybe even each other! Okay, Lily, WE WANT MORE!

Wonderful Book

I was wondering how the author would bring closure to the ongoing plotline. It was masterfully done. There are so many great secondary characters in this series, I hope they get a HEA too. I do not want to say goodbye to Sally, Fred, Demarcus, and many other new or returning faces with fascinating personalities.

Loving this series!

I love the way this series has come together! At first I was sceptical as I wasn't sure about the characters and the plot revolving around a girl with gifts on a ship at sea but now I wouldn't have it any other way! Rowan is learning new things about her gift and she is getting to know her father and uncle. Can't wait to read more about Rowan in the future!

Overall it was a decent story. My only issue was The fact that over the course of the last couple books, Rowan was starting to get on my nerves. I could not stand her decisions. At the end even the author recognized it and mentioned some of the decisions she made, yet the reasons for such stupidity were not good enough.

When I was first introduced to Rowan Gray, I thought there was no way I'd like this series. I mean really, how many ways can you spin murder on a cruise ship.
I'm so glad that I gave it a chance! I was so wrong! Rowan and Quinn are amazing! So far this is my favorite Lily Harper Hart series. I'm very sad that this was the last book in the series.

Good read

Book 9 is the last book in this series. The problems with the Phoenix Society come to a head and the leader turns out to be a huge surprise. The whole family is on board the cruise ship to help keep Rowan safe and end the Society's existence. There is humor, danger, mystery, and a murder right out of the gate. Highly entertaining.

A great finale!

I can honestly say this was a page turner. It was a bittersweet ending, in the fact that I love these characters and I really didn’t want to see the series end, and yet the story came full cycle. Thank you Lily Harper Hart!

Only one complaint

Only one complaint and that was this was the finale. Hopefully there will be cross overs in future other books.

Interesting conclusion and some unexpected but great twists. I would definitely recommend the series; I would definitely read a future book.

This story had so much going on in it. It was so good. I didn't see the entire last 2 chapters happening the way they did. Wow what a really great mystery. I loved and I loved the ending. So excited to see what happens next!

Sad but good

I've read all this series and this one was just perfect! It had some good twist and turns and brought it all together. I'm sad to see the end of this but I've already read the first book in the new series featuring all our favorite witches! Yeah!
