Ok, so this story was incredible from the first chapter. I loved learning the back story of how Alex and Rowan met. The chemistry between these two is off the charts HOT! The plot is quite unique and will have you on the edge of your seat. Rowan is a CIA Agent who is desperately searching for his sister and the one person who can help him he walked away from five years ago. Alex McCoy is an elite hacker that has worked for the government and had a fling with hunky CIA agent Rowan Hawke. When he turns up out of the blue, she knows something is definitely up with him. Now they need to put everything aside in order to locate his sister. Such a great story. I cannot wait to read more!

5 years ago, Rowan and Alex spent a wonderful week together in Paris and then went their separate ways. Now, Rowan needs help from Alex and they will work close together and will have to deal with feelings that are still there between them.
Leave it to Stacey to weave the perfect story that will keep up glued to the pages and flipping to see what is going to happen next.
Can’t wait to see how this story ends in book 2, Risky Love.

Stacey Kennedy does it again with this story, I could not put it down. Alex the hacker who works for Ryder and his company Blackwood Security is sent on a much needed vacation to NYC for two weeks.
And that is where she runs into the one man who after spending a week together in Paris on a case makes more than her knees weak! Rowan who works for the CIA, totally has game But after leaving Alex is Paris without a word five years ago, he now needs her help and sets about seducing her or so he thinks. Alex is totally onto Rowan and oh yowza did she ever turn the tables on him! I cackled at that scene. After his sister is abducted by a serial killer, Alex willingly agrees to help him find her. Alex lost her own sister when they were teens so she does whatever she can to help people in that situation. These two are totally hot and steamy, no spark lost since their time in Paris. If anything it has grown stronger. As the two unravel the mystery and Alex brings in Ryder to help they are determined to find his sister Mia. When their best lead brings them to a stunning surprise....
Oh the twists, turns and completely melt your socks steam between Alex and Rowan, this is a must read story.

Stacey Kennedy’s Sexy Liar: A Dirty Secrets Duet (book one of Dirty Hacker) was impossible to put down. Rowan and Alex grab you at the from the first page to the last (yes a cliffhanger) but boy oh boy, it was hot, sexy and dangerous getting to this cliff. Knowing Stacey the next book will be just as hot and dangerous. Alex and Rowan play by their own rules and those rules can and has gotten them into trouble. I can’t wait for the next book. I was given an ARC and purchased the book.

Sexy Liar was an intense, fast paced, edge of your seat, suspenseful read. That had deception, intrigue, danger, excitement and buckets of heat. And I was easily hooked throughout, and can't wait to get my hands on Risky Love and find out how this story ends.

This book was just okay for me. I think the premise of the book was good and I had high expectations that I would enjoy this one.
Rowan is a CIA agent working to find a serial killer who's kidnapped his sister. He enlists the help of Alex, a hacker, to help him. Rowan and Alex had a previous fling and are now reunited to solve this mystery.
I just didn't connect with Rowan or Alex. I started to get a sour taste when after they reunited and reconnected intimately, Rowan tells Alex his sister's been kidnapped. It just seemed odd that he'd think of bumping uglies before telling Alex about his sister. I've read other books similar to this one where they're partnering up with someone to search for a loved one and the intimate scenes have happened, but not that early. Maybe it's because they had a prior relationship? It just seemed odd for me and that changed my perception of the characters and the story.
There is a second novel that concludes this story...but I'm not invested enough to read it.

For real??! His sister has been kidnapped by a serial killer but sure, FIRST he will have raw sex with the heroine and ONLY AFTER he will ask for help to help find his sister. Outside the law. From whom he has deliberately withheld information because..... reasons. We judge heroines so hard for TSTL behaviour, what do you even call this behaviour?! Too ASSHOLE To Live, I guess.

Good read
Well written and totally engaging read. However it ends on a cliffhanger and is obviously part of a series. It’s a pet hate of mine that books aren’t identified as part of a series or end on a cliffhanger.

Agent Rowan Hawke was no stranger to Alex McCoy, but the way they parted five years ago was not the most mature thing he had ever done. In fact, it was usually how he ended all of his encounters. He ghosted the woman. He just disappeared, and with Alex, he left her in the bathroom right after they were done. But now he needed her help to catch a serial killer. He knew how to manipulate people and planned on seducing her before asking for help on this case, but their encounter after five years did not go as planned. She not only used him but turned the tables on him and found out he was there to ask her for her hacking skills to find his little sister Mia, who the Casanova Sadist had abducted.
I read this three times in spots and realized that the world-building in those spots followed the minimalist approach, which was fine most of the time, but then. Then there was the character interaction, and it was hot in sections, and that was without the sex. Sometimes the phrase flirtatiously funny came to mind. The character backgrounds were filled in nicely to give our protagonists a shared history that made them both smile and shudder in vague fear of themselves because of the other.
This manuscript has action & adventure, suspense, and plenty of romance(WARNING: EXPLICIT SCENES). I give the telling of this tale five stars out of five stars.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "SEXY LIAR" A DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS DUET" OMG!!!! What an amazing thrilling storyline it pulls you right from the beginning it's starts in Paris where CIA Agent Rowan Hawke and extremely skilled hacker Alex McCoy meet on a case their chemistry is scorching hot.
Years later Alex has been worked to exhaustion and is need if a vacation so she heads to NYC where she runs into Rowan the one left her behind without another thought but the sizzle is stoll there they can't jeep their hands off of one another.
Rowan comes clean after their trist and tells Alex he needs her help finding his sister the FBI have been keeping him in the dark and he needs her expert hacking skills.
Alex finds out that there is a connection to the killer and the FBI which makes her not sure she can trust Rowan to protect they are in extreme danger and so is her heart.

OHH does Mrs. Kennedy know how to weave the suspense!!!! I don’t like to give away much in my reviews but to give a little background. Rowan is CIA. Alex is a hacker who was arrested and has agreed to work with the FBI and CIA on cases to stay out of jail. Alex and Rowan work together in Paris to solve a case and Rowan needed one more time with Alex. But is it! Now years later...Rowan NEEDS Alex help to solve a case involving a sadistic serial killer. The chemistry between them is smoking hot. Alex is touch, independent, super smart and Rowan finds she is breaking through his walls. Stacey keeps you on the edge as they try to track down the killer. Yes, this does end in a cliff hanger. But, it ended in a way that has me biting my fingernails anxiously waiting for the ending. I can tell you I TOTALLY pegged the wrong guy (gladly) as the killer. I love books that have kick butt heroines, tough and hot heros and a great story. Stacey doesn’t disappoint!

Surprisingly, I like this book. The only reason I read this book was due to a challenge but damn, it was quite good.
The heroine, Alex, is this super smart hacker and the hero, Rowan, is a secret agent in pursuit of his sister's kidnapper, the Casanova Sadist who is also a serial killer. But, it seems that someone in a higher-up position is trying to stop Rowan from solving the case, so he sought Alex for her help.
Sound interesting? Yup.
The only complaint I have about this book is to tone down the number of sex scenes it has. (OMG, me? Saying there are too many sex scenes? Inconceivable!) I prefer if the author creates this sexual tension between the characters rather than throwing these random sex scenes at us. This is also the reason why I don't like reading books where the characters already have their relationship established prior to the book because I couldn't feel these characters' chemistry and how they actually met.
Other than that, it has serious potential.

Being a fan of Stacey Kennedy and Kelsey Navarro, I knew this book was for me! What a treat it is! Alex is not only beautiful, but the best hacker there is. Rowen is in need of her. Having history with this woman could cause some problems, but her skills are a necessity to finding his sister. Now together, we have heat, sizzling passion and suspense like no other.This is a world of corruptness and there is no one to trust. Kennedy has the first book in this series on the edge of our seats, learning the cause, enjoying the budding relationship and wondering what is going to happen next! I can't wait for book 2 to come out so we can see!
Kelsey Navarro gives an amazing performance, letting us experience this story first hand. She creates the characters in a way that lets us know them, and be with them in the story. I loved this performance and am looking out for the next in this series!

Sexy Liar is all about the suspense tied in with a second chance romance. Sexy Liar is part one of the Dirty Hacker duet. Yes, it ends in a cliff hanger but it's totally worth read. I was really excited that Alex got her own story.
Alex McCoy is an expert hacker. While on a much needed vacation, Alex bumps into Rowan Hawke at a bar. They had worked together in the past sharing more than just a job. Alex quickly assess that this was not a coincidence, leaving Rowan in a bind.
Rowan needs Alex's assistance in tracking down a sadistic serial killer, however, he also needs a plan to get Alex on-board. The last time they were together Rowan left before they had a chance to have the relationship talk.

A fast paced and suspenseful story. Towns and Alex’s interactions may be steamy but there is substance to their potential relationship. This book is not too long either but is nice and meaty where the story and character development are concerned. Hell of a cliffhanger at the end. That was unexpected for me probably because I didn’t realise that the story would continuing in a second instalment, so I’m definitely looking forward to that. I found Wes Manning to be quite intriguing and I hope Stacey will be giving us a book in him.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I wanted Alex to get her story, and I loved the first part of it (I need the rest now, please and thank you) and can't wait to see what happens.
This book is interesting and it feels just a little different for this author, which I enjoyed. I love it when an author tells a story that is just a little bit not like the orhers they tell...and this one hit the mark.
I think, at this point, it's practically my review policy to not discuss plot in books that have cliffhangers, and, well, this one does.
So, suffice to say, I enjoyed and recommend this title...and, I really do need the next one.

This is a cliffhanger
Stacey Kennedy is a favorite go to author. I love her sweet stories centered around sexy cowboys but her new romance suspense definitely keeps me on edge. Sexy Liar has me hooked from the start. I had a hard time setting this down once I began reading .
Rowan and Alex didn't have the most convention relationship but what they had was intense. I'm addition to their relationship the pair are working on a case to find a killer.
This is a cliffhanger ending but don't worry, part 2 will be out shortly.

Alex and Rowan have some hot fun but when Alex finds out the truth about Rowna she is not so happy. The two have chemistry and a past but can Alex leave the past and look towards the future? She must decide if she will trust her heart and Rowan to keep her safe.
I enjoyed Alex and Rowan's story. The two work together well and are hot together. Their story is full of emotions and action with some twists and turns thrown in. It was nice to see these two interact and try to figure out the case alongside what they want out of each other. The author has created strong characters and an engaging world for them and after that ending I cannot wait to see what happens next in their adventure.

HOLY COW! I was on the edge of my seat and did not put this one down. The ending?? Oh be prepared for one heck of a cliffhanger. I had to re-read that ending thinking did I just read what I think I read.
The heat between Rowan and Alex is a scorcher but they are determined to find Rowan's sister so the heat needs to just simmer for a bit. Rowan is being kept in the dark by the FBI on the case of his sisters disappearance. He turns to Alex, who he ran out on, to help. There are kick a$$ moments since Alex is no pushover.
Bring on the next book!!!!

Thrilled to get Alex^s story
A hot little suspense romance that had me on the edge of my seat more than once. Wonderful mix of action and romance in a well paced story. Short enough to read in an evening, but be prepared to get the next book. This is, after all, a duet.

A hot little suspense romance that had me on the edge of my seat more than once. Wonderful mix of action and romance in a well paced story. Short enough to read in an evening, but be prepared to get the next book. This is, after all, a duet.

This was my first Stacey Kennedy's book, and won't be my last. This is the first book in the Dirty Hacker Duet, a great romantic suspense. Alex and Rowan's story is suspenseful, and captivating. They share a sizzling chemistry. Now, I can't wait for the next book in this duet. Kelsey Navarro did an amazing job with the narration. She has a great and beautiful voice, easy to understand. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook.

Sexy liar is great and spenseful, but wait for the other book if you can’t handle the cliffhanger. It a doozy! Stacey Kennedy did an awesome job with this book. It’s sexy and hot. It’s a second chance love story. It is a page turner, and you will love Alex and Rowan. You’ll never see the surprise coming. I love all of that in a book. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

I enjoyed Alex and Rowans book. Their love was beautiful and i enjoyed seeing the secondary characters, getting to know the different world’s entwined together. I enjoyed the sexy times but do wish there was more plot, more showing of Alex’s hacking skills, some more action. Overall it was a good book and I enjoyed it.
