C. G. Cooper is the USA TODAY and AMAZON BESTSELLING author of the CORPS JUSTICE novels, several spinoffs and a growing number of stand-alone novels.

One of his novels, CHAIN OF COMMAND, won the 2020 James Webb Award presented by the Marine Heritage Foundation for its portrayal of the United States Marine Corps in fiction. Cooper doesn't chase awards, but this one was special.

Cooper grew up on a steady diet of Dungeons & Dragons and the travels of a Navy family.

Upon graduating from the University of Virginia with a degree in Foreign Affairs, Cooper was commissioned in the United States Marine Corps and went on to serve six years as an infantry officer. C. G. Cooper's final Marine duty station was in Nashville, Tennessee, where he fell in love with the laid-back lifestyle of Music City.

His first published novel, BACK TO WAR, came out of a desire to link back to his time in the Marine Corps. That novel, written as a side project, spawned many follow-on novels, several exciting spinoffs, and catapulted Cooper's career.

Cooper lives just south of Nashville with his wife, three children, and their German shorthaired pointer, Liberty, who's become a popular character in the Corps Justice novels.

Absolutely superb.

3 down many more to go and I’m really looking forward to reading them. Words just don’t do this series justice (ha ha). You have to read them for yourselves. Brilliant and well worth 5 stars.

Got it free on Kindle. Worth as much. A horribly written novel filled with a bunch of ridiculously cartoonish characters.

Wow, Another great story!
Neil Patel is a genius with computers, the head of IT at SSI and their expert designer of all of the high tech toys they use at SSI has been kidnapped while attending a small conference in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The enemy has kidnapped Neil knowing that Cal Stokes will come to Jackson Hole and that is his plan. He wants a showdown with Cal.
Cal Stokes and his team at SSI will stop at nothing to rescue their friend and colleague.
Join the team and come along to the snow-filled mountains of Wyoming to fight evil traitors and double crossers as the hope to rescue Neil is in question.
There are many twists and turns as the story unfolds. Read along and join the adventure. I think you will really enjoy this book, I know I did!!

'Prime Asset' completely blew me away. As with the first two books in the 'Corps Justice Series', I was pulled in from the beginning and could not put it down. I literally read this book in one sitting. The storyline was intense. I think it pretty much covered every emotion I could possibly have. The way it played out was full of action, despicable characters and crazy, wild scenarios. Cal and his team were pushed to their limits and fought like the bad-asses they are. The 'bad' guys, aka enemies, received some well deserved justice. Cowboy was quite the character. I liked his daring and brave gung-ho attitude. I look forward to reading more. A definite must read.

Well the Justice Corp books just get better, as they progress. In this story "Prime Asset" SSI's head of their RD section and Cal's friend Neil Patel is kidnapped from an Electronics Conference in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The company must find and rescue Neil. The only problems are they don't know who did it and there is a massive snowstorm coming! Well as usual I am not telling you the whole Story. You know the What, but not the Who and Why! And I am not telling. We lose some of our favorite Characters this time also. If you are looking for a good story this one will do it. So for a Really Good Read. Enjoy. Santa Mike

Great adventure with a cast of characters divided into three groups. Takes place in Jackson Hole in a snow storm. It is fast paced and includes Dan Briggs. He is still being developed into a character by the author, and it is not clear just what his role will be. The three groups are good guys, bad guys and badder guys. Dan has some spiritual elements in his current make up; can not imagine where this can go. In any case it moves along at a great pace and uses the latest technological weapons. The ending is very satisfying to the reader. The team get leaner and meaner and will have another thrilling adventure.

Prime Asset. C. G. Cooper

A very close friend of Cal Stokley an employee in his security business has been kidnapped. Cal, is the leader of the covert side of the business. They have the blessings of POTUS. All of the team members are extremely well trained. Ex special forces. The kidnapper an ex green beret and his team are going g to get a lot more then they bargained for. This is a top notch action thriller!

GREAT STORY OF HEROS WE NEED TODAY

Kept me turning pages and anticipating the next one. True Good Guys with White Hats, like the Cowboy Heros of old. Interesting twist using technology, medical, political influence, brotherly love, & loyalty to take down the bad guys & and stay within acceptable limits.
Military & Action readers, along with Jack Reacher & Tom Clancy fans are sure to enjoy.

Justice to the Core

Corps Justice... Do what you have to even when you’re not allowed to do it. From that you get Cal Stokes, Jr. A man who is his father’s son. Warrior, Leader and Friend... someone we all would like to have on our side. This was a terrific story with a lot of stuff packed into it! Thoroughly enjoyable if you like Warrior stuff!!!

Good read

Enjoyed the different patriotic men in the story. It shows how hard it is for our military people to come home after dealing with war. The pain of loss. When I asked my father about what happened in war, his comment, 'If you were there you don't talk about it'. It is hard to understand for the families.

Nicely done adventure.

Liked the characters, and military slant. A masculine tale that I don't often experience in my usual reading. It's good to further one's horizons. Will read some of the others in this group.

I enjoyed this book. It's a super fast read, full of action, and a real page turner. A lot of brotherly love, foul language, and violence as well, so avoid if that's a turn off for you. Otherwise it was very entertaining.

Great book

I usually loose interest in a series after two books and I have read three in this series and can not wait to start the fourth. This is a very interesting series and very good characters. Can't wait to see what happens next.

A fun series

In my humble non-critic mind, I found great character development, unexpected twists and turns while simultaneously keeping to the stories theme. Very enjoyable series. I’m looking foreword to the next book

Good tale although a little pedantic in its writing. Slow in spots with a bad guy who was definitely not the sly master criminal normally portrayed in the action books of recent.

Don't know if I spelled that correctly but Harrah for the Marines also CG Cooper. He is an excellent author, the story just smoothly rolls on, keeps your interest going from beginning to end. If you like mysteries and the Marines you'll enjoy reading this book.

I think this special group and Cal / Neil / Travis have lots of potential for good stories, this book pretty much hit all the characters of spy’s and villains. I look forward to reading additional books to see if they progress in a positive way

Wow ! Each book just gets better. It grabs you from the first page and doesn't let go until the end. I read the first prequel and now I am going to read the next one before moving on with the series.

If you are looking for a great fast paced story look for any of C.G. Cooper's books. All the characters are real heroes but human. With all that is going on around it's great to lose one self in stories like these. Read and enjoy.

So far, this was my fav. Instead of trying to figure out who, what and where... you are given that info early on. Then... like a Hitchcock movie, YOU know what's going on and it becomes Omigosh... how are they going to figure this out! YAYAY!

(AB) - tech genius of SSI, Neil Patel, kidnapped by psyco ex military guy that was blackballed by Cal's Dad. Neil's foot chopped off to get rid of implanted tracker, because SSI had been infiltrated by bad guy. The vigilante justice is close to good enough to get past convenient story telling.
