C. G. Cooper is the USA TODAY and AMAZON BESTSELLING author of the CORPS JUSTICE novels, several spinoffs and a growing number of stand-alone novels.
One of his novels, CHAIN OF COMMAND, won the 2020 James Webb Award presented by the Marine Heritage Foundation for its portrayal of the United States Marine Corps in fiction. Cooper doesn't chase awards, but this one was special.
Cooper grew up on a steady diet of Dungeons & Dragons and the travels of a Navy family.
Upon graduating from the University of Virginia with a degree in Foreign Affairs, Cooper was commissioned in the United States Marine Corps and went on to serve six years as an infantry officer. C. G. Cooper's final Marine duty station was in Nashville, Tennessee, where he fell in love with the laid-back lifestyle of Music City.
His first published novel, BACK TO WAR, came out of a desire to link back to his time in the Marine Corps. That novel, written as a side project, spawned many follow-on novels, several exciting spinoffs, and catapulted Cooper's career.
Cooper lives just south of Nashville with his wife, three children, and their German shorthaired pointer, Liberty, who's become a popular character in the Corps Justice novels.
This book really got my blood boiling! Obviously, I know it’s only fiction but the storyline drags you in and you feel part of it. Therefore you feel the anger, betrayal and all the other emotions that one feels during a journey like this. Read the book and take the journey! You won’t regret it. Five stars.
Cal and the boys come to the rescue once again. This time saving two older Delta operators looking forward to retirement after one last mission. They are almost home free when things go wrong. They call in the cavalry and together they figure out what's been going on. Just like all the other books in the series it is fast paced and interesting.
'Sabotage' was another awesome book in an exceptional series. The story line was full of action (of course), deceit (without a doubt), thrilling scenarios (to be expected) and some pretty kick-ass characters. Cal and his team weren't the only ones trying to right the wrongs. Karl and Vince were a great pair. I loved their 'fighting for the right reasons' attitude. Christian was such an amazing young man. Very helpful. Peabody was a character that was full of surprises. And then we have the ever present ba$tard of the story- McKnight. I can't wait until he finally gets what's owed to him. I look forward to reading more of the 'Corps Justice Series'. Definitely one of my favorites. A must add to your tbr list. Recommended read.
I normally rate these reads a five. I enjoy the writing style that draws the reader in allowing us to see the scenes without minds eye. The character development has always made me feel like I know each one personally. Sabotage definitely delivers on all of these areas. I did feel like the story line was disconnected as we moved through events. Rather than experiencing events ourselves the author,Mr. Cooper, resorted to offering explanations to connect events to the whole. I did not find this tactic as satisfying as experiencing different parts for ourselves and putting the puzzle pieces together. On to number 13 now. Anxious as to how the series wraps, am hoping in a good place for our patriots. Carol R
I cried at the end of this book - so many emotions from reading and knowing all the characters
The others I smiled and cheered but this one brings it all together The circle of life and the respect towards others. Especially those who have given their all to so many. To those who have served I thank you and your family. To those who know cancer and it’s many victims remember you are not alone. To the author of this priceless series I thank you.
Many books hold readers' interest, but very few like these series "make" you go on to the next book to find out what will happen to the heroes in the series. Once you start the series you will be hooked. Don't take my word for this, just start reading! Keep writing Mr Cooper!
Two Delta operatives are taken hostage. POTUS is running for reelection. Traitors are surfacing . POTUS is murdered. His plane shot down. His covert team of operators is on scene. Betrayal abounds. Loyal friends surface. Honor dignity will prevail. A truly magnificent read!
It is hard to consider a book the is about warriors and the military poignant but CG Cooper does it. It is a really good story that leads you to an ending the dresses you in in such a way that you are deeply invested in the characters and feel with them. Definitely would recommend this book.
That is almost a given in series of this nature, as the passage of time is certain to take its toll. I have read all the series and will follow it to the end, as my interest in the series remains strong. We Marines tend to stay until all problems are cleared. Then relax.
China is stirring up trouble in the horn of Africa and friends of the Jefferson Group are missing and presumed to be captured. The President was the one who sent the delta soldiers in harm's way so he uses himself as a decoy to rescue them. Does or doesn't it work that is why we read the story.
The Corp Justice Series - and especially this book - are truly great reads. Plenty of action and such memorable characters! Cooper pays honest tribute to the men and women who serve their country will candidly putting the Washington bureaucracy in its place. This book, and all the books you n the series, are must reads!👍

What can we expect from Allies that have Active Terroist organizations
Action & Suspence, with Political Intrigues & fake Righteousness. A page turning story, with many lessons we can learn. What do we look for in a Presidential Candidate. How 'bout one that would give his life for you???
It' s always good for me when I get to read about stories about service men honoring their country with their service! This is one of friendships, sacrifice and courage to do what is right in the face of adversity. Once again I had the forbearance to read this story and walk away feeling pro have read it. Great story and hope to read more in the future!
Twists and turns I never saw coming. I love the dog! Cooper does an amazing job with this one. His character development gets better with each novel. I can't wait to start the next one.
This is a masterfully told story. The shear intensity of the action and emotions of each scene are masterful. Liberty is fast becoming my favorite character!!!
As always, C.G. Cooper never ceases to me. Super intriguing plot and kept me turning pages. Makes me feel like I know these guys personally. Keep up the outstanding writing.
Another solid winner in the Corps Justice series. We see much more of President Brandon Zimmer in this tale. As always, plenty of twists to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Strong story of friends and brotherhood and men who are willing to die for one another despite the evil in the world which is trying to bring them down.
Just like the other books AWESOME and keep you up at night trying to finish it it’s now 05.40 and I have just finished the darn thing and now getting the other books in the series thank god for kindle unlimited this has to be a 5***** read Many thanks Nigel
If you want a book that keeps you up all night or that you can't wait to get back to this is one of those. Non stop action, unpredictable and true to the Corp justice theme, it was a great read.
C.G. Cooper has done a fantastic job of writing this series of books. Each story has its own story line and each book has some twist and turns that draw you in. Read for yourself and you will enjoy.
I would give this book 10 stars if I could. If you are a fan of a well weaved novel, look no further. This is the 12th book in the Corps Justice series, but so far my favorite. Start from the beginning a work your way through. You will not be disappointed.
Cal Stokes and his band of merry men take on the bad guys in Djibouti in an apparent overthrow of the government. This time even President Zimmer gets involved in the down and dirty.
The story got a little confusing halfway through. Though it may have been Cooper's intent I think that it became a little unwieldy and distracting. Overall, though, I enjoyed the book.
