Lori Angel is a graduate of the Deveraux College, the highly secret school for teenage spies. Until now she's been posted on the coast, doing a whole lot of surfing and partying. But then a fellow graduate turns up at her apartment. Dead. Stashed in his rucksack are a series of clues that will lead Lori into the most dangerous situation of her life. And into conflict with a secret society, every member of which is supposed to be dead.

LORI ANGEL is the new spy novel from the author of the brilliant EDWARD RED. It's an everyday story of rad-surfing, cool parties and body-swapping megalomaniacs trying to destroy humanity.

Andrew James Butcher is the English author of the futuristic teen spy series, Spy High. A.J., who taught English at both Poole Grammar School and Parkstone Grammar School, in Poole, Dorset, and currently teaches at Talbot Heath School in Bournemouth, Dorset took a sabbatical from his teaching career to write Spy High Series Two. He says he has been influenced by Charles Dickens and George Orwell, but that Stan Lee, creator of many of Marvel Comics' super-heroes, is his biggest inspirational figure.

Lots of partying until someone shows up at her door dead. The world that A.J. Butcher creates in Angel Blue is mysterious and futuristic. This book is placed in the future and there are a lot f details that say so. The book doesn't say the year and the date but the description of the buildings and the technology is obviously form the future. Would the future be better? Would the present be better? What are the pros and cons? I recommend this book for anyone--any age or interest.
