Steamy and super romantic story with loving hero and heroine. A sexy rock star falls for a sweet girl who owns a flower shop but can they make it work? This is a safe book. Light angst, no other woman, no other man, celibate hero and virgin heroine. Adorable epilogue with 3 kids. I highly recommend!
"Rock-a-Bye, Baby" is the story of Belle and Thorne.
A sweet love story with a rockstar celibate hero who falls for the virgin heroine when their eyes meet across the stage. They make love, have some drama which concludes in a HEA!
Could have been rated higher, but I really, REALLY hate rockstar romances LOL. Picked this up by mistake. Rockstars remind me of herpes, and that's just not my cup of tea.
Review Loved it! I have been waiting anxiously for Griffith’s story. This did not disappoint! Griffith and Belle had the insta-love we all now crave. Really nice story and great chemistry between Belle and Griffith. Lots of secondary characters that I hope will soon have their own stories.
I've been looking forward to Griffith's story since he was first introduced, loving how he and his friends, former and future Heroes, had such a close bond and were comfortable teasing each other.
Griffith, a rockstar, loves being able to make music, but he's avoided the life that goes with it - aside from the earlier days when he was stupid in his decision making (information that wasn't necessary to the story and only served to make me wonder exactly how stupid he'd been) and has concentrated solely on his career. When he sees a beautiful woman at a concert, he knows instantly that she's the one for him...and then he loses sight of her and is determined to do whatever he must to find her again. He just never expected the introduction to come the way it did.
Belle, co-owner of The Chapel of Dreams, the on-site chapel at The Lennox, is attending the Rising Phoenix concert with her two sisters, Aurora and Ariel (yes, their mom is fascinated with Disney princesses) and their extremely protective older brother, Knox. She's had a crush on Griffith since learning he'd be playing at the hotel. She just had no idea it would become so much more, not to mention that he'd feel the same way.
There are obstacles they'll need to overcome, Griffith's upcoming commitment in LA versus Belle's obligations and business in Vegas, plus, there's the fact of Griffith's fame and what that entails. When the two issues collide, and situations are misunderstood, can they work things out? Is their love stronger than insecurities and reality? Is a HEA possible?
One-click now and follow along as two people, destined to be together, must fight for the love they've just discovered. I look forward to the next in the series and enjoyed the cameos from previous characters.

3.5 stars. This was a fun addition to the Fiona Davenport world! Rock-a-Bye, Baby is Griffith and Belle's book. We have a hot rocker and a sweet wedding flower designer. There is instalove and a cute story with low angst, no OP drama, good chemistry, a pregnancy and a sweet epilogue. I liked the rocker aspect and the fact that he was not a manwhore, like most book rockers are. He was obsessed with his lady on sight. Overall, this was a fun and cute, easy read!
I absolutely loved this book. I have been waiting for Griffith’s story and it did not disappoint! Griffith falls head over heels for a woman he spots in the audience at one of his shows. He has vowed to make it his mission no matter what to find this woman and make her his. Fate makes it easy on him as she ends up being his friend Knox’s (from a previous story) sister. The two pretty much fall instantly for each other but there are a few hurdles to jump through before a HEA. Safety and Spoilers Completely safe. H has been celibate for many years, not a typical rockstar. h is a virgin. No op drama but there are a few misunderstandings that cause a little drama. No abuse!
I enjoyed reading Belle and Griffith's story so much! It has everything in a story to make it fun, sexy and with a guarantee of being safe, a wonderful happily ever after for the main couple, Belle and Griffith but also sort of giving us a hint of the next story in the A Vegas, Baby series with Belle's sisters, Aurora and Ariel! Can't wait! :)
As always this duo deliver a hot and steamy short story and I am loving this story I just can’t wait for more so intrigued by some of the secondary characters.
Griffith was destined to fall the hardest from the beginning and was really looking forward to his story. Griffin Thorne and his band are finishing their last night in Vegas when he spots the woman who stops his heart there and then and steals it, but he only caught a glimpse of her as they were finishing up and he is determined to find his Princess. But once he finds her he has a lot of work to do to convince her that once his latest album is finished he is coming back to claim her.
Belle and her sisters Ariel and Aurora work within the Lennox hotel running the wedding chapel when they get offered VIP tickets to the final night of Griffith’s show, he has been her biggest crush for most of her life and can’t believe it when he is looking and singing to her. Believing that is just how he operates she shrugs off his advances until she finds she can’t walk away from him but is he being real with her or is this all just a game to him. Will Belle risk her heart and get the her own Disney fairy tale ending?
Loved it so much it was cute in all the right places and steamy when it needs to be. And how they are all named is so so adorable. Highly recommended read that will leave you happy for the rest of the day.
“You’d give up touring to be with me?” “I’d give up everything to be with you.” So refreshing to have a safe rock star story. Not every famous musician story has to have a womanizing manho to be fantastic and here is the proof. Loved it.
-virgin h, celebate H -no cheating -no abuse -dual POV -love how he loved her -no others during separation
Can't wait for the next story about the sister Ariel.
Rock star Griffith Thorne is doing his last show for Vegas then flying out to LA to record his bands new album. Singing on stage is a huge rush for this mega star, the fans and energy courses through him it's what he loves and he does it well.
Singing a new song he notices the brunette in the VIP section and he can't take his eyes off her, singing directly to her. He wants her. Badly.
Belle Dawson works at the Lennox Casion along with her two sisters Airel and Aurora ( yes their named after Disney Princess's) they run the Wedding chapel and provide the flowers it's a job they love. When they get tickets to see Griff's last show she can't say no. She's crushed on him since forever. When he sings to her she can't believe it.
All Griff wants to do once the show is over is find her, shes the one the one he's been waiting for and he'll do whatever it takes to make her his.
Over the top Alpha who rates right up there with his sexy dirty talk (blushing) who has no intentions of letting Belle go.
Virgin heroine and rock star god a perfect combination.
Teasing little romp with a rock god. I love the way this little romance starts with the music star in concert being adored by his fans and relishing it, only to be dumbstruck by the sight of this woman who steals his heart.
Then it's a smut fest with insta-love, possessive caveman and sweetness galore.
The rock star and the florist fall really fast and sensually in love, but a little drama happens when certain issues separate them. I confess I find it exciting when they suffer all the anxiety of not being together as they wanted. This scenario was well developed, especially when he moves heaven and earth to get back to her as promised. A very heartfelt reunion is just one of my favourite parts of this cute story with an extra possessive lover.
The two epilogues are so good, and I adored the gift she gives him, so thoughtful and precious. This author writes some of the best smut novellas out there.
Loved it! I have been waiting anxiously for Griffith’s story. This did not disappoint! Griffith and Belle had the insta-love we all now crave. Really nice story and great chemistry between Belle and Griffith. Lots of secondary characters that I hope will soon have their own stories.
Rock-a-Bye, Baby is a novella from A Vegas, Baby series. It can be read as a standalone. It's a short quick read with an instant connection. Griffith in on stage preforming and he see Belle is the crowd and he knows right away she's the one for him. Griffith tries to find her after but he has a meet and greet to attend. She's at the met and greet with her two sisters and hr brother, Knox. I loved Knox being the over protective brother. Griffith is all alpha and protective of Belle too. He's also sweet. Belle is a great character too. These two mesh well. It's a really great read.
Sweet & steamy, this the third novella in the Vegas, Baby series by writing duo Fiona Davenport. A sexy rock star (Griffith Thorne) falls for a sweet woman (Belle Dawson) who owns a flower shop. This is my favourite of the series so far! Check this out if you love a man that knows what he wants and goes after it.
Rock a bye, baby is book three in the ‘’oh baby’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. I liked Griffin and Belle. Whilst on stage performing, rocker Griffin spots Belle at the side of stage. From the moment Griffin lays eyes on Belle, he knew she was the woman for him. Belle is equally attracted to Griffin and soon finds herself falling for him. The chemistry between Belle and Griffin is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. The love they had for one another was undeniable. One last thing, I liked that Tyson and Colette briefly featured in this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books in this story.
Sin City has never been this Sinfully delicious! 😉 Get ready for some Rockin' Hot Romance!!!
I have been dying to see Our Sexy tattooed Rockstar meet his match since I read about him in the first Vegas Baby book, and Griffith's story was even better than I could have hoped! Belle is Gorgeous sweet N sassy with a bright bubbly personality, she completes Griffith perfectly! I love that he wasn't intimidated by Belle's over protective power house of a brother N that he was determined to make her his no matter what!
I'm totally addicted to this Vegas Baby series hope all of the characters to get books of their own especially the Dawson siblings
Fiona Davenport 5 Sexy Stars all the way! So excited for Ariel's story Baby Cakes!!!
Rock-a-Bye, Baby is a novella from author Fiona Davenport. It can be read as a standalone. Griffith has popped up in various other FD stories and now he has his own story. Griffith and Belle have this insta-love connection and the chemistry between them is intense. Loved the feels that this story put out and the secondary characters that were introduced. Was so happy with Griffith's heroine and their love story. The plot is good, the feels are pretty strong and the sweet moments are on point. Can't wait for book 2.
HEA Standalone, interconnected characters Insta-love, Obsession, Surprise Baby Vegas, Baby series

Trigger/ Content warnings Miscommunication
Griffith (mmc, rockstar) Belle (mfc, florist of Lennox Casino) Knox (brother of mfc, head of security)
Griffith is a literal rockstar. Belle is an innocent florist at the casino he's on contract with. The obsession is instant, but he's supposed to leave for LA to record his next album. They only have a small amount of hours before his flight. How will this work?
This is Belle and Griffith's story. Griffith a rick star falls for his lady love at a rock concert. Belle and Griffith get together and he knows age is the one for him! Followed by a very brief time apart, they fall into a HEA! The epilogues were the cutest! Loved them! 3.5 stars!!!
If you are looking for a very fast paced instalove story with little angst, this is it. I wish there had been more opportunity to develop their characters and relationship. Due to the brevity of the story, it was a little hard for me to connect with the characters. That being said, the writing was well done and the epilogues were nicely done.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Squeeee!!! Griffith has been popping up in various Fiona stories for a while now, and we have all been chomping at the bit to get his story. He & Belle do not disappoint, of course!!
The insta-love hits him hard, and Belle's witty, bold, flirty personality with him is so super cute! I also really enjoyed the dynamic between her & her big, protective brother, Knox (he's a swooner, too, even when he's being a grump)! And her sisters are, of course, fun as well!
Also enjoyed the cameo from some of our Stone Butterfly peeps! GREAT story!!! : )
This series just keeps getting hotter and hotter! Griffith has watched all his friends find their “One” and he has given them you know what about it. Little did he know that his was just around the corner. One look and that’s all it took to know that he has found his and he will do whatever it takes to win her over.
Plot: Griffith is the lead singer of a popular band, and Belle is the sister of Knox Dawson, whom we've met in the first two books of the series. Griffith sees Belle in the crowd at a concert and then gets to meet her backstage afterward. Knox isn't real keen on anyone hitting on his little sister, but Belle is more than happy to get to know Griffith.
Character development: Griffith is a little more dirty-talking than the heroes in the previous books. Belle is a little more innocent. The combination is pretty hot for the short length of the book. There's a fairly standard miscommunication/misunderstanding but definitely no long separation, and all's well before the end of the book.
Rock-a-Bye, Baby (Vegas, Baby, #3) by Fiona Davenport ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hero - Griffith Thorne. Lead singer of the famous rock band Rising Phoenix. Tall and sinewy with a blond fauxhawk, purpley-blue eyes, and a short beard. A barbell piercing through one eyebrow and tattoos round out his bad-boy look.
Heroine - Belle Dawson. Co-owner of The Chapel of Dreams inside the Lennox Hotel & Casino (specifically runs the flower shop). Height-wise, comes up to Griffith’s chin. Small and delicate, but curvy. Dark, almost black hair and brown eyes.
Overall Thoughts - I really liked this one! Though it does contain one of my pet peeves, lack of communication, it was pretty mild and didn’t affect my rating all that much. This is a safe rock star romance and we get plenty of cameos from lead characters of previous and upcoming entries as you can see from my lengthy list below.
While this entry is part of the Vegas, Baby series, it also loosely ties with FD’s Hollywood series as well. As far as the timeline in relation to the four other books Griffith’s been mentioned in before this one finally came out...it’s a little wonky thanks to Drew and Autumn’s two-month long separation in book one. If it weren’t for that, it would line up much better. That would suggest that all three of these Vegas books would have taken place within that first month-long contract and that would make perfect sense...if it wasn’t for that darn separation in book one. Whoospie!
As far as the lack of communication, it had mostly to do with Griffith’s misguided attempt to surprise Belle, but it led to some mild conflict instead. The book was a smidge angsty, but I’d still classify it as low angst since everything stemmed from misunderstandings and good, if misguided, intentions. It brought my rating down the slightest bit, but what I really wanted that I never got was more backstory for both characters. I wanted to know how they both got to where they are in their careers. What made Belle want to be a florist, or to open a wedding chapel with her sisters? How did Griffith get started with his band and how long have they been in the limelight? Does he have any family? Heck, I would've been happy if we'd at least gotten ages for the characters, but even that was denied to the reader.
And did anyone notice that slight bit of mystery that was never resolved? Bex, Rising Phoenix’s drummer, had a weird requirement to add to the long-term contract and we never found out what it was! I know it’s such a small detail to nitpick over, but when I read that I immediately wondered if the bandmates were going to get stories, or at least Bex. Especially when Griffith said they were all ready to be settled down, at least for a while. 🧐
Anyway, despite all that, I really enjoyed reading Griffith and Belle’s story and I LOVE the premise of a famous rock star finding his soul mate in a crowd of fans while he's onstage performing. I definitely recommend this book!
And now, a list of all the cameos:
--Levi and Brooklynn are in the band Stone Butterfly, are good friends with Griffith, and are the hero and heroine of Another Postcard (Stone Butterfly Rockstars, #1) by Elle Christensen. Here, they perform with Rising Phoenix before heading out to a remote island for their honeymoon. They’re also set to do a collaboration with Griffith on his band’s next album.
--Drew is the owner of the Lennox Hotel & Casino and Autumn is his wife. They’re good friends with Griffith and the hero and heroine of It’s Vegas, Baby (Vegas, Baby, #1).
--Knox Dawson is head of security at the Lennox, is good friends with Drew, is the big brother of Belle, Aurora, and Ariel, and the hero of Baby Blues (It’s Vegas, Baby, #6).
--Ariel and Aurora are sisters and co-owners with Belle of the Chapel of Dreams inside the Lennox. They’re also Knox’s little sisters and the heroines of Baby Cakes (It’s Vegas, Baby, #4) and Baby, I Do (It’s Vegas, Baby, #5), respectively.
--Tyson is Griffith’s agent, Colette is his wife and they’re the hero and heroine of Heiress.
--Julian Storm is a magician currently performing at the Lennox and the hero of Show Me, Baby (It’s Vegas, Baby, #7).
--Zack and Becket are brothers, good friends with just about everyone on this list, and the owners of the Artemis Hotel & Casino. They’re also the heroes of Kiss Me, Baby (It’s Vegas, Baby, #8) and Bet Me, Baby (It’s Vegas, Baby, #2), respectively. Lia is Becket’s wife.
--Maddox is Griffith’s preferred tattoo artist and the hero of Baby Cakes (It’s Vegas, Baby, #4).
--Austin (I’m throwing this one in because the authors made a mistake and had Griffith call Tyson, Austin) is an actor, and is a client and friend of Tyson’s. He’s part of FD’s Hollywood series and is the hero of Starlet.
Idk what number book this is on for this series? But maybe i need to read book 1 to see the secondary charas lol fast pace sweet read.. anddd i got this as a arc read for a honest review.
Ever wanted a hot time with a rockstar.. well Belle got that when after a concert in vegas she has a instant connection with Griffith when he saw her in the crowd. But he has a over protective older brother Knox and 2 disney name sisters to get by.. and well the sisters are easy they have one rule.. don't break her heart, but Knox hates the idea and doesn't trust Griffinth..
Hot and heavy dirty talks.. and some misunderstandings leads to some drama.. but its resolved fast.. i did love how Grif was he only wanted her he wasn't a manwhore from being a rockstar.. as for Belle.. she was very bubbly and abit insecure but i would to if i was dating a rockstar..
No ow/om drama, no cheating, sexy times, secondary charas, celibate hero & virgin gal
Recommend- maybe Cover-⭐⭐⭐

Griffith Thorne is seen in the previous Vegas series. He's a terrible flirt, but he only does it because it fluffs his friends feathers. However, now it's his turn and if you thought the previous books in this series has some overbearing males, prepare yourself now.
Belle runs a wedding shop with her sister Ariel and Aurora (yep you read those names right). She's the kind of woman who is in love with love, but has an overbearing brother who protects her from putting her heart out there.
From the minute their eyes lock, Griffith knows she's his. The only problem is he's already signed a contract for his band to go back to LA for recording and can't take Belle from her work in Vegas.
Can these two go the distance?
