Nicole has her life planned out, marry a human and give up the wolf inside forever. Her dad doesn’t approve but he will support her decision. Until that decision ends lives.
Now her life is a tiny cell with an auction looming overhead and her only hope is one phone call her seven-year-old sibling made. The man who answered swore he would find them and he is their best chance of rescue. But will he find them in time?
Samson doesn’t talk about his job to anyone. Tracking down human traffickers in a black op organization means lots of secrets to maintain his cover. His Alpha knows what he does, but few others. His partner doesn’t have a clue what he is. Now he has to break cover and hope his own partner doesn’t kill him because the stakeout just got serious.
When the wolf senses their mate they aren’t the most logical to deal with and controlling the impulse to go after the female no matter the cost can end in disaster.
Who will get to the female first? The man on the other end of the phone call or the mate who is willing to give up everything to storm the compound and damn the consequences?
I absolutely love these SafeHaven Wolves books. Each new couple comes with their own stress, testings and eventual happiness. I love how the storyline continues into each book. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
There are scenes that were difficult for me to not cry in through this book. It’s opened more questions about characters that I NEED to know! I don’t know what I’m going to do until the next books in the series are due out! Read it.
This is a very sad read, poor nicole, it got very dark for her, I felt like screaming no wait at one point but totally understands her need to not let them go though that.
I absolutely LOVE these books! This one tore at my heart because of the children involved. Can't wait for the next book to see more about the aliens/ vampires!!
