The Butcher's Bill is book 3 in this series, and I found it to be not nearly as good as others in the series. It could be because this is the last one in the series I hadn't read yet, so having read the other 4, this one just seems out of place, but I honestly don't think the quality of writing in this one was as good as some of the other books in the series. It's still a decent story, though a bit predictable to be sure, perhaps that's why I didn't like it as much. In any case, if you read others in the series, it can't hurt to read this one too.
