What the readers have to say about The Road Ahead
This story was just beautifully done. You want romance? Well, it is here. You want a snooty Ice Queen type? Oh, she is definitely here. You want to laugh and chuckle your way on the road from Portugal to the UK and beyond? Well, you can with this book. But it really is simplifying everything by saying those things. When you start the book you may think that Arabella and Rebecca, who are so different from each other when we first meet them, will get together during the road trip. I mean that's what love stories do, right? I'm not saying anything to spoil the story but there are so many different things that could happen, and I promise you some of the things that do happen are not what you will expect. As usual, we are treated to that wonderful AE Radley view of the world and as always I am just waiting for more.
The Big Uneasy
They say opposites attract, but can lightning strike twice?
Rebecca has convinced Arabella to accompany her on a trip to New Orleans. Both women are struggling to figure out their new relationship as Rebecca gives Arabella the space she requests, and Arabella comes to terms with her unexpected feelings for the younger woman.
Meeting Rebecca’s friend, Jenn, gives them the chance to learn more about each other. While Jenn starts to fall for her own older woman from out of town.
What the readers have to say about The Big Uneasy
First of all I loved being back with Arabella and Rebecca, who we met in ‘The Road Ahead’. I wanted their relationship to develop and for Arabella to become comfortable with her feelings for Rebecca. She may come across as an Ice Queen, but she was vulnerable and struggling. Kathryn and Jenn’s story was endearing. I didn’t want Jenn to get hurt but I also wanted her to have a chance at love. Would Kathryn be ‘the one’? When they spent time together it was sweet and funny and full of discovery, for both of them. I love AE Radley‘s sense of humour. It is very dry at times and fall off your seat laughing at others. The interactions between both couples and the supporting characters really hit the spot. What struck me though was that the author manages to convey passion and desire with the deftest touch. I was left in no doubt just how much the characters meant to each other. ‘The Big Uneasy’ is a fantastic story and I highly recommend it.

A.E. Radley is an entrepreneur and best-selling author living and working in England.
She describes herself as a Wife. Traveller. Tea Drinker. Biscuit Eater. Animal Lover. Master Pragmatist. Annoying Procrastinator. Theme Park Fan. Movie Buff.
When not writing or working, Radley indulges in her third passion of buying unnecessary cat accessories on a popular online store for her two ungrateful strays whom she has threatened to return for the last seven years.
Great story line, fabulous characters that as you enjoy the story you actually feel you know them personally. The story has its twists & turns but never once do you loose your way. Excellent.
I really loved the first book but this one imo wasn't as good. It's still a good read and I'm sure many would enjoy it but it didn't live up to her first one for me, but perhaps that's because the first one was really amazing imo
