To live ... With the soul bound , to a sweet memory.

Return to you is about two ex-lovers Nate and Wren . They meet again , after 20 years separation ; because, one day, Wreng just took off . He left Nate without a word . No text , emails, phone call or/and letter . Just gone.

This emotional and entertaining story, reminded me of a famous Argentinian Tango called Volver (Return) , by Carlos Gardel . It goes like this:

~ "And, although, I did not want to return. One always goes back to ones first love.
The ancient street where the echo said "His life is yours". "His love is yours."
Under the mocking gaze of the stars, which look on me with indifference. Today they see me returning.
To return, with a withered brow. The snows of time Silvered my temples.

To feel ... That it's a life's puff of breath. That twenty years are nothing.
That the shadows, seeks you and names you . Points you out.

To live ... With the soul bound , to a sweet memory, which I lament again.
I'm afraid of meeting with the past that has returned to confront my life." ~

Return to you is a very sweet and spicy second chance romance , with a seventh-heaven HEA .

This was a good read. Nate is working as a nurse and one day the new new doctor shows up. That doctor happens to be his ex Wren. Nate is furious and things were rough at first but they get it together by the end. I would have given this a higher rating but I hated how Nate refused to let his friends help him. That always makes me mad when characters do that.

I’m seriously addicted to that series :P

The last two days I devoured the six books in that series and overall I really loved them though this one here was definitely my favorite so far (followed by the fourth book).
We met both characters before: Wren is the best friend of Jamie from the fourth book (read it! It’s so sweet <3) and we got a little glimpse of Nate in Corey’s book (the third one). And what can I say… that book here checks a few of my boxes…
- A sweet green-eyed redhead? Check!
- A a**hole who is very sweet with his love interest? Check!
- A guy who is confident in his job and doesn’t shy away to show it? Check!
- A second-chance romance which starts VERY rocky? Check! (and 20 years apart!!)
- A romance with many romantic scenes? Sigh... CHECK CHECK!

And that’s basically what you can expect here: a sweet second-chance romance with two very lovable characters and a bad guy who gets what he deserves :)
As a standalone I really loved that book and just had to give it 5 stars. So if it is the first book for you in this series read it because it’s excellent!

HOWEVER

For those of you that have read the other ones do it like I did: just pretend you didn’t read them xD Why? Well.... after reading all six books one after another I really wonder if J.P. Oliver is the pen name of a group of authors because there were various things - apart from the writing style - that simply didn’t match:
- Ty: We know from the first book that Ty wasn’t with his family when his and Corey’s parents died and there wasn’t anything mentioned before that Nate was part of their lives. But according to this book he lived with them for years and Ty was suddenly present when the police told them their parents died? I was really… confused… also if I remember correctly in the book where Nate was first mentioned Corey said that Nate was a co-worker he gets along with very well. But according to this book they were like brothers and best friends? …Ooookay?
- Jamie: The same was with him by the way because when he and Wren went for dinner at some point in the fourth book Jamie and Beck just dated since a little while and were still getting to know each other. In this book however those two already lived together… Jamie also spoke Spanish A LOT in his book. However in this here he only said one or two words in his native language which was a little bit out of character.

Can the authors please talk with each other so they get the timeline and characters correctly? Because there were a few other errors in the other books as well though they weren’t that noticeable before.
Otherwise great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next one :) (especially since it’s going to be a character I didn't think would even get a book...)

✔ Letto! Sono ritornata ad Harlan, mi mancavano i miei ragazzi e volevo notizie, sai com'è, sapere come stavano e si erano felice. Tutti bene, tutto va come doveva andare.
Per me è ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

This is intense, dramatic, suspenseful and romantic. Nate is stubborn, sweet, caring and protective. Wren is determined, sweet and responsible. Sweethearts when they were teens, best friends before that, Wren and Nate lost contact with each other when Wren's parents found out he was gay and sent him away. With no chance to tell Nate what was happening, Wren left, breaking both his and Nate's hearts. Now, 20 years later, Wren finds himself at a new hospital, and he finished Nate there. Nate is still too angry to have anything to do with Wren, even letting him explain. And while his life is in turmoil over Wren, he's also dealing with being sexually harassed and threatened by his boss. Which gets worse when the boss figures out that there's something between Nate and Wren. What happened to Wren is sad, and the reason he couldn't find Nate the one time he came back is tragic. This series is full of angst, but it's so good. I love the storylines and the characters.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the sixth book in the For You series. This book is the second chance romance between Wren and Nate. They were high school sweethearts, but Wren came from a very traditional Korean family and wasn't out. When Wren's family learned about him dating Nate, they sent him away. Twenty years later, Nate now works as a nurse practitioner in Denver and is best friends with Corey, who we met in other books. When Nate is called into a meeting to introduce the new heart surgeon, he is shocked to see it is Wren. Wren wants to talk to Nate to explain why he disappeared, but Nate is avoiding him and it is clear Nate is angry. Nate has other problems also with the chief, he is harassing Nate and threatening his promotion. I loved this book. Nate and Wren never forgot each other and it was clear they still loved one another. I love how they just picked up where they left off. I think this was a sweet and emotional read. Another great one in this series.

If it weren't for the major continuity errors, I would have rated this book higher because the story itself is good. As an example another reviewer pointed out And if Nate was like another brother to Corey and Ty, why didn't he show up in Ty's book or come across that way in Corey's? This book also indicated that Jamie, a protagonist in a previous book, had grown up in Harlan when he didn't. His whole, huge family was in Denver. And that Wren and Jamie hadn't seen each other in person in years, which doesn't make any sense with a scene in Jamie's book. I'm still reading the last book of series as I'm hooked now, but I honestly don't think I've read any series that was quite so bad at maintaining its timelines before.

Awww, it was absolutely SWEET!
I haven't read other stories in this series (yet), but if they are all as cute as this one I need to read them all! This is a story about second chances in friendship and love, it is sweet and lovely. There is a lot of drama, partially because of Nate's chief and partially because of Nate and Wren's past.
This is a very enjoyable, fast read with lots of scorching hot scenes, funny dialogues, amazing friends and one super annoying guy who thinks he can do what he wants. It was satisfying and heartwarming and I loved happy ending here. They all deserved it.

I think that 20 years is A LOT of time and i'd prefer to see Nate and Wren getting to know each other again, but the chemistry between them was palpable and it made it obvious that they were made to be together <3

This is 6th book in the For You series, but it can be read as a standalone.

I loved reading Wren and Nate's story. Their romance was bordering on too cute, they were so adorable as a couple after the story progressed that far. And there were plenty of steamy scenes too. But this book was way more than just romance. Given the details and accuracy of the hospital setting and descriptions of specific conditions, I think the author either has a background the the medical field or he at least did a great job with his research. All of the characters felt like real people and the overall plot was riveting. I know I'll be checking out other books by this author.

I do wish the story was longer. And the blurb did set me up to think this would be written in third person (it's in 1st, alternating between the two main characters).

Nate was shocked to find Wren was starting at the same hospital after twenty years.
Working at Denver General Hospital as a Nurse Practitioner Nate was shocked when a new doctor arrives and it is Wren who he had grown up with loved but had disappeared without a word twenty years ago breaking his heart. Now he was going to have to work with him but whenever he was near Nate just felt so angry. Eventually Wren got him to let him explain how his conservative Korean parent had found some letter from Nate that he had kept and took his phone and computer then locked him in his room blocking all contact before they moved to another city. When Wren tried to trace Nate he had moved after his mothers death. A MM second chance romance to relax and enjoy.

4.5 ☆ This story is sweet and entertaining, it is emotional, has unique characters, and plenty of steam. Terrible circumstances separated Nate and Wren when their teenage love was blooming. Twenty years later they find themselves working at the same hospital but Nate is so full of anger and pain it takes a time before he will listen to Wren and allow a second chance. Their connection is so solid and sweet you call feel the love they have for each other. Someone very nasty is causing trouble and needs to be dealt with before Nate and Wren can move on and enjoy their deep love and sweet HEA.
I liked the talks Nate had with his mom, I just wish they had carried through the whole story. Other than they, I really enjoyed this story and definitely recommend it.

Sometimes, you can go back again. But things aren't always the same. Wren, surgeon in closet scared of being outed. Nate, nurse fighting a harrassing Chief of Surgery brokenhearted from Wren's abandonment. Nate is qualified and hoping for a promotion. Wren unknowingly transfers to Nate's hospital and constantly tries to communicate with a hurt non responsive Nate. Wren, stressed from Nate's rejection does not put his best foot forward toward the medical staff working with him. This is a great second chance story, if they can just get their second chance. Will Nate ever listen to Wren? Will Wren step up and become humbly persuasive? Will Nate get his promotion? This is a nice story. Excellent use of medical jargon and procedure descriptions. J.P. continues to excel. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

I was so excited to get another book in this series! Nate and Wrens story was second chance romance that started way back when they were young boys.

Wren comes back into Nate’s life and the anger and hurt comes storming back in. It has been 20 years but the pain was still raw for Nate.

Wren was staring over in Denver and never thought he would see Nate again. So when he walks into his new job he’s shocked to see Nate. But he will have to do quite a bit of it explaining to get Nate to forgive him. But he has to get bare to actually talk to him soon he can.

This book was one of the best I’ve read in this series. Wren and Nate were explosive! And their story was epic, and addictive.

This was a cute and sweet story involving a second chance romance. Even though I didn't feel like it was anything new or different, I still enjoyed this one. Nate was in love with his boyfriend wren wo suddenly just left town and never said a word as to why and just disappeared from his life all together but now he is back and Nate doesn't know how to be around him anymore. Wren has always hated leaving Nate behind and now that's he has finally found him again, he refuses to let him go. There are small obstacles that threaten their relationship and jobs but hopefully they can find a way to get through it together. I read this one pretty quickly, it was cute fluffy read.

Wren got sent away by his parents for loving Nate. Nate was angry with him for leaving. When Wren came back into his life he stayed mad at him until he explained why he left and that he had come back to find him. They picked up were they left off in their relationship. They solved a few problems they were both having at work because of their supervisor. In the end Wren asked Nate to marry him, which he promptly said yes.

OMG, LEARN YOUR OWN SERIES' TIMELINES!

I had to stop reading this because Nate started remembering when Ty & Corey's parents died and how Tyson was the one to answer the door for the police and then how both Ty & Corey were at their funeral... like, what?!? Ty's book is the 1st one in this series and one of the biggest regrets he has is how he wasn't there for his parents' funeral! HE WASN'T THERE. STOP CHANGING THINGS.

Edit these to make more sense for those people who read them as a series.

Regardless, I'm done with this book and series. Ugh.

A wonderful addition to this outstanding series. I love Wren and Nate, they are spectacular characters and I was really rooting for them. The road to forgiveness is not an easy one but I really enjoyed watching them fall in love all over again. I love how supportive Wren is of Nate and I really like how they work together to get rid of the horrible man causing Nate so much trouble. The narrator did a great job with these characters and with the story itself. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audiobook.

Nate and Wren might have been the source of some of the greatest joys and pains for each of them.

But those times should remain in their pasts- even if neither has ever really recovered from them.

Can they really have a here and now - let alone a future?

Can they hold on- together?

OMG, by far my favorite in this series. I really loved Wren and Nate. Even though Nate had major issues with Wren's return, he finally got over it and allowed himself to feel. I loved their immediate connection even after all those years apart. Even though they had drama and issues to overcome, they did and and both received a very deserved HEA.

NEVER ASSUME – A RIVETING SECOND CHANCE STORY

This story shows that there is sexual harassment in all walks of life. This in the form of a male Chief of Surgery against male nurses. Also, the portrayal and explanation of the split between Wren and Nate left me with the sense of Nate assuming things without giving Wren the benefit of the doubt, Wren ghosting him for twenty years, makes me wonder if all genders think the same – no matter the sexual orientation. I was happy to see a HEA.

After 20 years Nate and Wren finally meet again. Nate is super angry that Wren disappeared from Nate's life so long ago without even a note, letter or email. You are with them through everything watching them fight each other and then fight for each other and their HEA. Well written book!

This was an absolutely amazing story. I couldn't put it down. Wren and Nate practically scorch the pages with how hot they are together. Wren shows up as a new surgeon at the hospital. I am enjoying this series. The stories and characters are interesting and developed.
