When the three siren sisters disappear into the underworld, Evie Black thinks she might finally get a break from the chaos that had become her life.
Not a chance.
Someone from her past shows up out of nowhere, and now the Akuma demons are on Evie's trail.
As if that weren't enough for a pregnant supernatural hybrid to handle, a mysterious fog seeps through a crack in the gate to the underworld and wreaks havoc on the town.
Evie has had enough. She's going to close that gate once and for all. She won't rest until every single demon is back where they belong. Luckily, she has her trusted crew to help her every step of the way.

2.75 Stars/5 Stars (Cass' distraction earned it extra points)
Magic Touch is the third and final installment in the Supernatural Bounty Hunter series. It was slightly better than the first two. Wrapping this series up, I think it was rushed. I feel like it had so much potential, if it had been spread out between more books, executed better, it could've been great. For what it was, it was okay. There were parts I liked and parts I didn't.
For starters, this series was seriously misnamed. I'm not even entirely sure the scope of what a "Supernatural Bounty Hunter" does besides hunt down baddies, it could've been delved into more deeply. Evie only really had the one through all three books. And even then we don't really know what happened with that .
The characters. I like them. I just didn't fall in love with them and grow as attached to them as I usually do (especially in a series). I feel like I needed more attention given to the characters, their growth and development and the formation of their relationships to really care for them. Even at the end of this series, I know very little, personally about the vast majority of the characters. The characters lack the depth I like and expect in series. For example, what's Haru and Reo's back story? What about Molly? What drove her love of all things supernatural? Tianna? Heck, even Evie and Brock needed more fleshing out - I liked them, but it was in a distant way, like you like a person you just met and could see yourself being friends with, eventually.
The plot. This final book, brought some characters back from previous books and even tied some things together from previous books, but it was mostly superficial. We did finally get a wrap up of the plot, but it was honestly a little anti-climactic. I mean, I liked seeing the Siren's get what they deserved but it seemed a bit too rushed, and bleh.
Overall, the series needed to be fleshed out more. It felt more like an outline than anything. A lot of potential, but poorly executed. For example, presumably there were more Kitsune at another time, what happened to them? More focus on the history and abilities would've been appreciated. Also a lot more focus on the characters, I want to connect to them. If a character is going to die, I want to feel it, not some nameless wolf, given an name, but whom I wouldn't be able to tell from the other 90-something nameless members of the pack. I also don't like plot holes, especially very obvious ones.
Magic Touch is the final book in the Supernatural Bounty Hunters series by Leia Stone and Lucía Ashta, and the perfect ending to Evie Black’s story.
These two co-writers have created a fantastic world, filled with characters that you’ll both love and hate. And of course they made sure that this book is just as action packed (if not more) as the other books in the series.
There’s definitely some “aww” moments in this book, which Evie totally deserves. Plus she’s is still the kickass MC we’ve all come to love.
I highly recommend the entire Supernatural Bounty Hunters series.
I have loved this series from the start. A fantastic collaboration between 2 fantastic authors, once you start this series you will not be able to put it down! Well written this final book answers all questions and the conclusion, though I am sad to see it end, was great! Fab storyline, fab world and fantabulous characters, this is a series I would highly recommend!
A fantastic read that is full of fast paced action. The supernatural and shifters as well. This is the 3rd book of this series. I just adore the Characters, especially Cass. Evie faces some major decisions, this read had me on the edge of my seat. From the first page to the last I highly recommend this read. Shauna Joesten
I laughed and cried. Just loved the final ride of Evie and her crazy friends and fami!y. It was so much fun to read! Such a great ending I love it when everything comes together. Great writing from Leia and Lucia!
Man, it was hard to put down the final book in the supernatural bounty hunter series. This last installment is in full swing with Evie and Brock batteling demons and trying to close the gate to the underworld. Apocalyptic times, a baby and a wedding. Some of our favorite characters go through turmoil and one comes out of it as something different, no longer human. I love this series. Brock and Evie are one of my favorite book couples ❤️
It's sad to say goodbye to this series. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it at first. Stripper imp and all. However I found myself invested and wanting more. The ending was beautiful.
Trilogy rating 3 stars. I’m so bummed. Evie could be an amazing character but the pregnancy ruined her whole badass, independent persona. Cass could also be a fantastic character but as a sidekick he’s just a yes man. We don’t get enough of his personality no matter how hard the authors try to describe him. Even the dialogue feels basic. This will be a series I think about for a long time. I wanted to love it. The premise, world and characters started out with such promise. But the whole thing feels like a first draft. Lots of repetition and in need of a good developmental edit.
Talk about nonstop action, “Magic Touch” grabs the reader by the throat and refuses to let go until the final page. This time the evil siren, Calista and her sister have escaped back through the gate and into the underworld. Additionally, Evie’s father shows up warning that the Akuna are on their tail. However, the biggest problem is there is a blackest green fog slowly emanating from the gate and no one seems to know what it is.
When Cass shows up on the scene he knows exactly what it is, a figure of nightmare told to demon children, the fog monster. Everyone has to stay away from it or succumb to its evil bidding but it is headed straight for the town.
Evie and the gang discover the means to destroy the creature and it invokes the gathering of ten witches to form a ten point pentagram. Evie has no choice but to contact her family member, the witch cousins who tormented her as a child.
The town’s people are in chaos and Turing on each other. As the witches assemble and put their plan into place one of Evie’s own is invaded by a small portion of the monster after most of it is destroyed. Evie and Brock will have to make a hard decision if they are to save their friend.
Unfortunately, once the monster is finally destroyed the government is nonplussed and decides to tag all supernaturals and register them. They also plan to capture and hold all demons in a detention center. Evie is not about to let Cass be taken; so, with the agreement of the vampire seethe and the werewolves they threaten to go on strike virtually shutting down the local economy and rendering the economy worthless.
Meanwhile, as they work through one problem after another, Cass is kidnapped by the sirens and held in the underworld. Evie is beside herself and decides she is going after him. It’s a trap and she knows it but she will do anything to get her friend and partner back.
As I stated earlier this read has nonstop action and mayhem. There are so many complex relationships developing as well. We are reintroduced to some familiar characters and introduced to new ones as well. I read straight through the night on this one and loved every minute. The only sad news is that this is the final book in the series. If you haven’t discovered this series it is definitely one you will want to put on your ‘to read’ list. It’s fast paced and a rollicking good time!
The Sirens are back in hell and have promised to return to Earth with their armies in tow. Although there is no immediate threat from the Sirens for now, there's no time to rest for Evie and the team, as a Demon fog has escaped from hell, driving the people in town into a rabid killing frenzy.
Evie has to muster her army of supernatural beings to defeat the Demon Fog while also preparing for the impending war with the Sirens. To top it off, the government is more wary than ever and has begun to take drastic measures to label and track all living supernatural beings. Cass has nowhere to hide but back to hell, and that's when all hell breaks loose.
I've had a lovely adventure with Evie and the crew in this trilogy. I particularly like it whenever they venture into a new territory. In this book, I get to visit hell. Although they didn't stay there for long, it's still enough to satisfy my curiosity about what the authors thought about hell and the creatures.
The only dissatisfaction with this story is that I didn't get the answer to what favour Belinda did to Croft, the Vampire lawyer. I also have no idea why Cass has to go back to hell because the world is vast, and he could just lay low in some remote forest, which is what Willemena did. Better still, he could have stayed with her! It just doesn't make sense.
Lastly, the bedroom activities in this trilogy must have been written by Lucia Ashta because I've read almost all of Leia Stone's series, and when there's a sex scene, it's always a brief account and not as lengthy as this one. Lucia, you're a bad influence! Just kidding. Keep up the good work, you two.
It is so unfair. Leia Stone and Lucía Ashta’s Supernatural Bounty Hunters is labeled a “series” not a trilogy. If it’s a series then there should be at least four (or ten) of them not just three! Humph! Well, I guess I can admit that my disgruntlement with this series coming to end, especially when that ending is spectacularly perfect, is sorta a sign that a kinda liked the last book, Magic Touch (Book 3). Humph. Ok. I admit it. Evie Black, my favorite pregnant supernatural hybrid (ok, one of my favorite fictional characters, period; I will admit it too: humph) is back. She’s facing Akuma Demons and a havoc-wrecking fog seeps through a crack in the gate to the underworld, and she’s fed up. Good for her (humph), and - ok, I admit it - great fir us readers as this is all handled so perfectly in a superbly written ending that somehow ties everything up (double humph). My bottom line one word review: ”humph!” .... ok, it’s really: “fantastic!” (Humph!). Seriously, but for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely going to miss this series.
3.5⭐️ “Magic Touch” is book three and the finale in the Supernatural Bounty Hunter series co-authored by Leia Stone and Lucia Ashta.
The moment we have all been waiting for, the final battle between the Triplet Sirens and Evie and the gang, the gate being closed and more, so so much more.
Now I have been enjoying this series, watching the relationships grow and flourish as well as watching Evie come into her new powers and abilities. But I have to say I’m a little disappointed with this book. Throughout the series we have seen Evie, Cass, Brock and the rest of the group overcome tough situations, battling Demons and Sirens. While trying to train and learn new skills, magic and abilities and try to make new relationships work. But I found that this book was a little rushed towards the end, with the big final battle we had been leading up to being over way too quickly. Also Evie got on my nerves a little as well, she was too rash and taking risks. I know she had so much on her shoulders with being the Kitsune but she just bugged me. Now having said that I did love seeing the love and friendship between Evie and Cass, that bond is unbreakable. Watching Evie and Brock’s relationship grow and evolve was a highlight, to show that even with the world coming apart if you find the one you hold on and go with it.
Crazy! It's the only way to describe this wild ride. When I say crazy I mean, outlandish and yet perfectly imaginative story. I can't even begin to formulate where these ideas about the kitsune, underworld, siren, selkie , pot belly pink pigs in booty shorts can even begin. Good thing I didn't have to or this story would have fell flat. Since the first book til the third it's just a wild ride. So many moments where I was all... "Say what now!?!" at my attempts to stay in the seat of this wild crazy awesome story. There were also a lot of laugh out loud moments which rendered another , "who would have thought of that?" but in the best possible way. It all works! I loved that Evie finally showed Brock true love and respect and for the baby too in this book since she was kinda self absorbed in the previous one putting the baby at risk and disregarding Brock. Glad that was fixed. Truly a crazy fun story with undoubtedly weird yet fitting moments. I don't know if I would have ever picked up this series of it wasn't for an awesome review I read that totally captured my attention. I can't remember who wrote it but I conquer with them completely when I say... "What the he'll did I just read? I'm not sure but...WTH?" It's just crazy but a good crazy.
For some reason, I stopped this book for a while and read other stuff and then came back to it.
It was a lot of stuff going wrong, one thing right after another. I ended up skimming some of the situations just to try to get to a peaceful spot. Constant issues make me feel stressed even though I know it's fiction. lol
The ending was pretty good. I like the way the siren was finally finished off. Beheaded by the gate to Hell, which she had been obsessed with opening? Pretty awesome!
The only issue I had with the ending was We go no real information about the baby, even with the epilogue where he was a year old. Is he a kitsune like Mommy, destined to guard the gates of Hell? Is he a wolf like Daddy, destined to be the next pack Alpha?
Honestly, the author should have had her give birth to twins, one a kitsune and one a wolf, so that both destinies would be secure. Without that assurance, I just feel like they did everything to protect the pack and the gate only for it to be undone in a couple of decades when the kid is all grown up and can only do one thing instead of both.
Small issue, but IMHO I think it is a valid issue.
Humour, Fear, Love & Family!!😍 4.5 Stars 🌟 (Read using Kindle Unlimited)
I've loved these characters & the series from the first page 😍 Book #3 had everything - suprises, fear, family, terror, love & a wicked sense of humour, that got everyone through all the good & bad stuff along the way!!🙌😎
I loved meeting people from her past 😏 As usual, Cass was a superstar & I truly loved that he found his soul mate 💞🌠 The witches & wolves, new & old were bad@sses!!😎✨💥 Brock was a true, sexy Alpha to his baby mama & melts at the thought of his baby's arrival!👣🍼💙💋 These two crackled with love & lust throughout!🔥💘🔥
This book had everything I wanted to be able to escape into a fun, fast paced and exciting world!🌎 I'm sorry to see it come to an end but enjoyed the journey so much!!🙏💕✨
Magic Touch is Book 3 in the Supernatural Bounty Hunter series. Magic Touch picks up where Magic Sight ends. This book is a roller coaster ride running the tract of non-stop action. Evie, the MC, is what all heroines should strive to be. She is pregnant but still balances her pregnancy with everything that is going on in her life. This has been a thrill ride from the first page of Magic Bite to the last past of Magic Touch. The storyline was excellent and the character development phenomenal. So sad to see it end but Lucia Ashta and Leia Stone have left open the possibilities of more books in the future. I highly recommend this series. If you want some awesomeness in your life, this is the series for you as it has it all. Congrats ladies on penning such an amazing book/series. Received and ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.
The third book in this series, Evie is forced to really power her kitsune butt up to face off against not one but three siren sisters bent on destroying the world. Of course, she can't do this alone and is forced to gather together some friends and some frienemies to sort these sea witches out once and for all. Again, a full action, fast-paced read that was easy to swallow. There was a little more focus on the fact that her baby bump is popping in this one and that her tails are multiplying- anyone who hasn't read this will find that bizarre to say the least! Evie and her baby daddy also spend more time on them and their relationship in this one, between fighting fog demons and sirens. I did think the Molly situation was a little trope-ish (aka Bella) but I have enjoyed the humour and the relationships developed throughout.
I enjoyed this nugget. It took me a while to finish it just because I got distracted lol but I can say with all honesty that this is a wholesome ending for a badass series.
I absolutely love badass Evie's world. With her right in the center of it, of course. And I love that this book gave me everything I needed from a Epilogue book.
I totally recommend this series to readers who prefer books with little stress. You want a short & sweet series to distract you? This one is the one for you.
If you do decide to pick this one up then...I hope you enjoy! 😊
What an amazing ending to an utterly fantastic trilogy!! This story was stuffed full with action, suspense and lots of sexiness. It was one amazing roller coaster ride.
Evie, Brock and Cass have become some of my most favorite characters. Their banter is hilarious. I love Cass because of his ability to turn drastic situations funny. A pink furry demon dancing and shaking his booty - hilarious!! Evie and Brock are so intense and sexy together. Their love is undeniable. Who knew a one night stand could turn into such an intense love!
I loved everything about this series. Well written and fantastic world building. Highly recommend to anyone.
WOW! Things get real very fast in this third and final installment.
Evie is fast learning everything about her emerging Kitsune abilities that she will need in order to seal the gate to the underworld when a rare fog demon escapes to cause it's brand of chaos on the town Eugene. Let's just say that in order to defeat this enemy Evie will have to trust the dysfunctional side of her family. The notorious Black clan.
Will Evie and her crew survive the dreaded Fog Demon, seal the gate and ultimately stop the Siren Sisters? Get this book now and read for yourself.
I can't wait to see if Leia and Lucia continue in this world with other books or spin-offs.
An enjoyable read for the third and final book of the series. Evie is heavily pregnant but she is the only one who can close that gate to Hell. Luckily, she has an awesome team around her, and when I say awesome I mean. Those that Evie has befriended are a mixed bunch, but they're a great bunch. My favourite is Cass and in this book he has some great and laugh out loud moments, as does Molly. I would definitely love to read books for these two characters in the future. This book wrapped up Evie's story perfectly. I've enjoyed reading this whole series and I will miss Evie, Brock and the others but I'm pleased with the way it ended. Five stars for a funny, entertaining and enjoyable series.
I voluntarily review an ARC. This is the third and (sadly) final part of the Supernatural Bounty Hunter series, the books should be read in order. I'm really sad to see this awesome series end, but it was an epic conclusion. At some points I wasn't sure if all the great characters would make it, but I didn't want to give up hope. This book as well as the series has all it takes: reliable characters, a great storyline, magic, love, action, unexpected allies, twists and turns, powerful enemies, desperate situations, funny moments... Last but not least I love the impeccable writing style without typos. I wholeheartedly recommend the series!
While I do enjoy these characters, I have to admit feeling just a tad let down by this story. I thought the three sirens would play a much more prominent role (considering their previous involvement in the first two books), however it was not to be.
There are a few surprising new characters, which I loved, and a potentially fabulous twist regarding the government that went nowhere, which was a shame because it added a lot of tension.
Still, it was fun while it lasted and I would recommend this to anyone who wants a fun, fast paced urban fantasy that’s on the shorter side.
Thank you, Leia and Lucia, for an a amazing story. Evie, Brock, Cass and all their amazing friends are doing everything they can do to shut the door to the underworld but its a rough ride. Fog demons, selkies and those dog gone evil sirens are throwing everything in their paths to stop them. But, luckily, Evie and friends are up to the task. Wonderful story and an amazing cast of characters. Couldn't ask for a better one. I hope there will be another story after this but, if not, just know that these book are exciting, lovely stories and well worth the time to read them.
