If you are one of those people who believe that some things are impossible, you should put this book down right away. (Because this book is FULL of impossible things.) Are you still reading? Good. Then let us begin...

Father Christmas and Me
It isn't always easy, growing up as a human in Elfhelm, even if your adoptive parents are the newly married Father Christmas and Mary Christmas. For one thing, Elf School can be annoying when you have to sing Christmas songs everyday - even in July - and when you fail all your toy-making tests. Also it can get very, very cold. But when the jealous Easter Bunny and his rabbit army launch an attack to stop Christmas, it's up to Amelia, her new family and the elves to keep Christmas alive. Before it's too late.

This book is for you if… a Christmas-themed harry-potter-esque children's book sounds like something you could forget reality with for a while.

Additionally.
I read this book and immediately loved Nikolas. He's such a good-hearted, kind and adventurous child, you cannot help but love him. His moral compass is unbelievably strong. His nosiness is something I can relate to even as an adult, I always try to meet new things with an open mind

A Boy Called Christmas is a feel-good, make the impossible possible, listen to your guts kind of story that brightens your day. In my opinion, depending on the reader's mindest this is a great story for any age range with valuable lessons about morale and loyalty.

What’s happening.
‘An impossibility is just a possibility you don’t understand yet.’

A little boy with a lot of spirit, spite and sense for what's right goes on an harry-potter-esque adventure to discover the magic of Christmas and later on ensures that a girl of poverty, potential and pretty awesome character can get to know the same thing.

4 STARS. Would stay up beyond my typical hours to finish it. I found some minor details I didn't like, agree with or lacked in some kind but overall, this was enjoyable and extraordinary.

“To lose someone you love is the very worst thing in the world. It creates an invisible hole, and you feel you are falling down it and will never land. People you love make the world real and solid, and when they suddenly go away forever, nothing feels solid anymore.”

Such a good & sweet book.
