I am not Catholic I am christian

I finally read the entire Bible, thanks to Father Mike Schmitz's "Bible in a Year" podcast. This Bible is the one I chose, simply because I could understand it easier than others. I'm thankful for that, and I'm so thankful for Father Mike's commentary in the podcast. What a gift!!

A college friend of mine died earlier this month and about two months before his death he started undertaking reading the Bible from beginning to end...he was making good progress and as his brother said, "Even God thinks you're overacheiving." He inspired me to give it a shot too - not from the beginning; I've tried and failed there many times, but starting with the Gospels and moving forward and back as I see fit. Maybe by the end of my lifetime, I can finish what Murph could not...

The bible is read in mass every day and my family and I have been doing the daily readings for the past years so yes I've read or at least heard the bible and most likely heard all of the passages by now. If the word of God doesn't change your life nothing will.
