This was an impulse purchase at Barnes & Noble. As a teacher, I couldn’t resist. I identified with some of what is written in here, and laughed out loud at much of it. This is the kind of short satirical literature that I can either relate to personally or know people who can.

Teachers should read this, because it will genuinely make you feel better.

Non-teachers should read this to practice empathy.

Geared toward elementary teachers. Super repetitive; several of the jokes repeat using slightly different language. A few definitely hit home for this high school teacher, but I wanted more appealing to older kid groups, too.

My mom bought this for me. I’m putting this in the faculty lounge as others will relate. While it has humorous quotes it’s geared really for K-2 teachers. Overall much of it is relevant to elementary education teachers in general.

Teachers: When Your Teacher Deserves More Than an Apple by Bored Teachers -- It cracked me up while I was flipping through it in a Booksamillion, so it will wander into the hands of a teacher I love at some point. Happy Reading!

Probably closer to 3.5 stars, this is a humorous look at teaching. It seems geared more toward elementary teachers, and tends to gravitate toward joking about the negative aspects of teaching. As someone who absolutely loves teaching, I would be funny, yet more positive in my outlook.

A cute "gift book." Some smiles. Lots of insight. Something to read and pass on to another teacher.

No author because no one would want to claim this book. It’s pretty bad. Not sure what the point is: to make teachers feel worse? To give your teacher to say sorry? At least it was short.

A book that every teacher could relate to on more than one page and on more than one level. If you’re a teacher or know a teacher, this book will make you laugh and cry with the reality it depicts.

It is just what the PhD ordered for those days when people wouldn't believe you if you told them. Commiserating without going all jaded veteran teacher. Perfect gift to show the teachers in your life that you at least recognize their struggle is real. 👍😁
