It’s someone’s opinion. That makes me truly think of “the handmaids tale”. I just feel like it’s coming from someone who is sexually repressed, not necessarily sexually pure. This book tries to be funny in a really bad way. Being sexist isn’t funny. Being homophobic isn’t funny. Judging people isn’t funny.

As someone that struggles with putting a label on sexuality, I think it’s awful to say that being even PURELY attracted to someone would make God punish me, or even love me less. And saying that showing off a shoulder, as if every person doesn’t have them, is lustful is just stupid. Again with showing a bra strap, which I assume it would still be lustful if I went in public without one?

Again, this is someone’s opinion. And I applaud you for being so brave to publish a book based on it. But as Christianity has developed with the modern times, isn’t it cruel to tell people that we are bad for having a natural desire? In MY Christianity, God is forgiving and understanding. God made me this way. I don’t believe I should have to feel guilty for understanding the science of the body God had created.

God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

That is acceptance. We should accept it too.

Si quieres que te tomen en serio, no digas que las mujeres no huelen mal. Desde un punto de vista menos jocoso, hecho en falta buenas argumentaciones. Ya estamos hartos de que para explicar la inmoralidad de ir teniendo muchas parejas indiscriminadamente, se compare el hecho de tener relaciones sexuales con usar diferentes objetos (que si pegamento o cinta adhesiva que ya no pega por haberse ido pegando y despegando de muchas hojas, que si tarros de mermelada de los que varios han ido cogiendo cucharadas)... Pero a la vez entiendo que es la autora la que ha decidido usar un vocabulario simple, para que este libro pueda ser entendido por la gran mayoría. Las frases que hay en el capítulo 05 son realmente vergonzosos. ¿Cuánto cuesta iniciar una amistad normal sin ir con un cartel en la frente que diga ``quiero casarme contigo, porque lo que quiero realmente es tener sexo contigo pero como no puedo antes del matrimonio tengo que convencerte de que te cases conmigo antes´´?
