Enjoy Kenzie and Nicholas's captivating story in this duet box set!
On His Terms
Fleeing an abusive relationship normally doesn’t lead to a contract.
After being burned by an ex Nicholas doesn’t trust easily. However, his refusal to have a serious girlfriend threatens everything he has spent the last five years working to accomplish. Somehow, instability in his love life has convinced the public that he can’t manage a multi-billion dollar investment firm. If he doesn’t change things quickly, he’ll risk losing everything he’s worked his entire life for.
To solve his problems, Nicholas hires Kenzie to be his pretend girlfriend. With the terms of their contract firmly in place, Kenzie is confident this arrangement will allow her to ditch at least one of the deadbeat jobs she’s endured to keep from returning to the horrors she left behind.
Keeping their arrangement completely professional slowly becomes complicated as attraction rises to the surface. Both of their futures are riding on this arrangement working and neither can afford to lose the other.
On Her Terms Lines are blurred…
“It’s just business,” billionaire businessman Nicholas Parker keeps reminding himself. But when he stares into Kenzie Rose’s eyes, runs his hands along her sexy body, any pretext of business flies out the window. The stakes are escalating. Someone from his past is out to destroy his reputation, his business, his life. Kenzie, and their fake arrangement is the only answer. But what if the arrangement is not enough? In more ways than one? More than his business is at risk…
When the passion ignites between them, Kenzie wonders if this is more than business. And can she keep her own demons away? Can Nicholas save his business and the woman he’s falling for? The danger is real, and it’s not only his fortune he’s risking, it’s his heart, and Kenzie’s future.
Is he willing to sacrifice his heart for his career? Is he willing to sacrifice everything for the love of a woman? And what will she sacrifice? And what about their arrangement?
I loved that the author bundled this duet together so I could avoid the dreaded cliffy. Kenzie has a horrible abusive past growing up and with her ex. The fact that she was groomed and used to being beaten, broke my heart. Nicholas’ past was also full of physical and mental pain caused by his psycho mom. These two beautiful but broken souls find each other and this duet described their journey together. The second book was filled with action, suspense, kidnapping, and violence. I appreciated the lack of cheating and the satisfying HEA at the end.

I enjoyed both these stories in this box set. It is a great slow burn series that has the emotional roller coaster and romance that you won’t be able to put down. This is Kenzie and Nicholas’s story. One is afraid to love and doesn’t feel that it is deserved. The other has a past that needs to be overcomed. They have great chemistry together which makes their characters pop off the pages. It is a well written series that makes it feel real. I highly recommend their story.
FANTASTIC Duet A great slow burning story that will definitely give you all the feels. Incredibly heartfelt and somewhat demanding storyline that penetrates your heart mind and awakens your senses. Enjoyed very much and would definitely recommend.
If you love a great, realistic, slow burn love story this is for you!
Two burned individuals come into an arrangement to better their future, but in very different ways. Nicholas needs to change his public image or he fears his business will be at risk. Kenzie needs to stop living paycheck to paycheck so she can finally go back to school and make something of herself. They both need to forget the daemons in their past.
Pretend to be someone's girlfriend a few nights a week for more money than she typically makes in a month? What could possibly be go wrong?
The Arrangement Duet Box Set is fantastic. This is the first time I have read this author, Madison Quinn, so I was not sure what to expect. You always take your chance when reading a new to you author but the description of the books looked interesting so I gave it a shot. I am really happy that I did as she can write a story.
The story of Nicholas Parker and Kenzie Rose is about two people who have a lot to get through, both individually and with each other, to try get a HEA. They eventually do struggle through to get that happiness they deserve but it is hard fought and well worth it. The story that crosses the two books is intriguing, entertaining, sweet, loving, dangerous, heartbreaking and shows the journey of two people who came together for one specific reason and ended up somewhere completely different.
This is a great read and I would recommend grabbing it and curling up for an engaging weekend read.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
OMG two fantastic books in one bundle. Why haven’t I read Madison Quinn before?
The first book of this duet is entitled On His Terms. The second being On Her Terms. On His Terms introduces us to Nicholas Parker and Kenzie Rose. These two have easily become my newest favorite couple! Their Arrangement makes me love them even more! After everything Kenzie has gone through, she still turns into a sweet, caring, brave and tough person. Nicholas faces his own demons and also turns into a caring individual. However, those very crappy pasts are what forces these two into The Arrangement.
On Her Terms is book two and my, oh my, do things heat up! I love love love these characters. I love their new arrangement, I love the mystery and I love their love!
The only “bad” part of this duet is during the second half of the second story. I felt there were two parts that needed more explaining, I felt like there was something missing in these two situations. It may have just been an editing thing because I even went back thinking I was reading too fast and missed something. I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen! They were minor parts in the grand scheme of things but I guess enough for me to notice. With that being said I still LOVE this duet.
Nicholas and Kenzie’s struggle for happiness is real. Trust is hard to give even in the most perfect of situations. Madison Quinn’s stories are full of intrigue and heart ache for both of our leads. Well worth the read! I am certainly looking into more that she has written!
I have really loved just about everything that Madison Quinn has written and so when I saw this box set of two fabulous books for the price of one I had to get my hands on it. I was so stinking happy that I did once I made it through the first book because boy did they need it! I would have felt so underwhelmed if they didn’t have that final realization of their love for each other.
Kenzie and Nicholas start out as nothing but an ‘arrangement.’ Neither one has had a great past with life, and well, with love as well. But these two both need something that the other can provide. So the funny situations that come from an arranged ‘relationship’ ensue all while the characters do not realize how perfect they are for each other as an actual couple. I was so stinking excited that these two developed slowly, as I love slow burn love stories. They truly know how to sweep you off your feet up into the whirlwind of love. These two books do a wonderful job of giving you all the feels with the appropriate amount of comedic relief inserted amongst the seriousness as well. I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on whatever else comes next from the wonderful Ms. Madison Quinn. I am sure whatever it is, it'll be fantastic!
I thoroughly enjoyed this duet book series that kept me holding on to my Kindle late into the night! Madison Quinn weaved a great storyline with deep well-developed lovable characters. It's a mix of a Cinderella type billionaire & the pauper story with an arrangement relationship that develops into so much more. Ms. Quinn writes about a hero who had an abusive mother before being adopted by a well-off family that helped him establish his future as well as a heroine who was abused by the different men in her single mom's life then by her untrusting grandmother, then by a controlling & abusive boyfriend/fiancee. They randomly meet when his car splashes her as she's walking in the rain then again through a mutual acquaintance that connects them in a business agreement relationship. We then follow their relationship as it progresses and they start to trust each other and learn to open up to love despite their respective traumatic past experiences.

The Arrangement Duet Box Set by Madison Quinn . This is the story of Nicholas & Kenzie who are both set on not getting into another relationship. This first book is called " On His Terms" and its the story of Nicholas and how him not wanting to be in a serious relationship is hurting his running of his company. The public doesn't trust someone to run a multi million dollar company if he's not in a steady relationship. Enter Kenzie who is working 3 jobs trying to keep from going back to a life of heartache and pain. The terms are simple keep it non personal. Easy enough huh? As they become friends the attraction starts. Can they keep this "arrangement" professional? In the second book " On Her Terms" picks up where the first one left off and they take their " arrangement" even farther. With someone trying to take Nicholas' business down they have to make this work. Will his past come back to haunt him, will her past relationship keep her from finding happiness? Read The Duet Arrangement to find out!
The Arrangement Duet Box Set by Madison Quinn contains the books On His Terms and On Her Terms.
Kenzie fled a past no one should experience. Doing so has landed her in New York City in a not so good part of town working two jobs to keep herself afloat. Nicholas owns a multimillion dollar company so you would think his dating life wouldn’t make a difference yet the public seems to think he can’t manage his company if he doesn’t have a serious relationship. Kenzie is approached my a customer with an opportunity that would allow her to not work so many hours but make more money. This opportunity is how she formally meets Nicholas. They agree on an arrangement that will pay Kenzie well while keeping Nicholas’ dating life away from the public. What happens when the attraction becomes to much to handle? Will Nicholas and Kenzie be able to keep their arrangement while keeping his business afloat and her demons at bay?
This duet box set was amazing to read! I couldn’t get enough of the story and I was so glad both books were together so I could read them immediately. This story sucked me and I couldn’t put it down! Kenzie is such a great character and she seems like someone you could absolutely be friends with. Nicholas seems contradictory at times in regards to how he feels about relationships and his tenderness toward Kenzie. I loved these characters as much as I loved the story!
This was an awesome box set and I'm so glad I got to read them together and avoid the cliffhanger!!! Wow this story takes you on a wild emotional rollercoaster which was amazing but it really kept me on the edge of my seat! Nothing is easy for them that is for sure both have issues after awful pasts which if I'm honest had a lump in my throat reading what they had been through. It is a slow burner but it still packs a punch I enjoyed every second and I certainly can't wait to read more from this author especially after this amazing box set.
What a long and complicated love story for Kenzie and Nicholas! I'm glad that I got this as a duet, as the story definitely is not over after book one. This is so complex I barely know where to start. Both of the main characters have complicated and hurtful pasts. They get into an arrangement to help Nicholas with some bad PR that his firm is getting. Kenzie is strapped for cash, as she has been since she fled for her life because of an abusive partner; so she agrees to the plan of playing the fake girlfriend for business functions. The author actually did an outstanding job of not making the first part of their relationship sexualized at all. In the beginning, for both, it was strictly an arrangement that was working out well for both parties; they actually became real friends first. So I would definitely call this a slow-burn romance. Even by the end of the first book, not much had happened on that front, though some of their thoughts and feelings towards each other were beginning to change. The second book ramps up the romance much faster. They make a new arrangement, this time a marriage of convenience that he hopes will quell all rumors that have been threatening his company from inside and out. I love how Nicholas is so kind and protective of her, especially after he realizes the extent of her history. There are definitely some dangerous elements in this book, ghosts from the past who still affect the present. If themes and scenes of abuse easily trigger you, you should steer clear of this. I will admit, though, that this book did have me enthralled and made me care about the characters so that I didn't want to put it down.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
The Arrangement Duet is a box set including two wonderful reads that I loved every second of. When I first read the blurb for both books I did think that I had made my mind up about how the story would go so I was pleasantly surprised to be wrong! I loved the slow burn feel to the story and the characters Nicholas and Kenzie had an amazing amount of chemistry that did feel genuine. I loved that they both had their own past that they needed to work on and I was definitely rooting for them the whole way through both stories. The two characters may have come together because of an arrangement but it didn’t take long to see that there was going to be so much more to their story than this. I loved both of these stories – I am really looking forward to reading more from Ms Quinn again in the future! Both stories were well written and I highly recommend this 5 star box set!
The Arrangement Duet Box Set by Madison Quinn is a great contemporary romance with book one being on his terms and book two on her terms and is a wonderful read. Being a duet is a bonus as I could jump straight from book one to book two without having to miss a beat. I love these characters even though they are two mortally flawed and wounded beings and so very complex. It seems fate has set these two on the path of love but getting there is a little unconventional and fraught with the pain of the past. They are intriguing and the complexity of the two shows us the depth and passions they share that shows just how vulnerable they are. This is an unbelievably raw and emotional journey of two who find each other and make an arrangement that only they believe will work for them.
Madison has written a wonderful story that has drama and dynamics, depth and is edgy and fast paced. With the little twists that pop up gives it even a more realistic dimension. It is a wonderful read.
The Arrangement Duet Box Set by Madison Quinn is two stories following the lives of Nicholas and Kenzie. You really do need to read these books in order as the story follows on throughout. This book is really well put together. The continuation of the story flows so well that it almost felt like one book. You could really see the character development throughout the duet. The connection between them really grew and became so much more than it started out. I also really liked the fact that the author didn’t feel the need to have their “arrangement” change straight away. That build up over the course of both books really added to the effect. The pace was good and kept the story moving along nicely. The book was enjoyable and a great read.
This is the complete story of Nicholas and Kenzie. Right away the scene that starts the book sucks you in. It's dark, and intense. I enjoyed this story, I believe the characters were well written and have a sturdy story. By no means does it make you feel like it was rushing. You honestly feel like you are getting the full everyday story. I enjoyed the other characters mentioned. It did kind of remind me of 50 shades of grey; with the rough upbringing, adoption, millionaire and being a part of a sex club. But this story in no way turns into a bdsm, I would say its an actual contemporary romance novel. I enjoyed throughly the start of their relationship and to see it flourish in the 2nd book. As well who doesnt enjoy a hea. I have zero regrets on picking this story up.
Another great story from Madison Quinn, you could really feel the troubled emotions both Nicholas & Kenzie had from the beginning & understood how they coped with their past. However, when they agreed to be a pretend couple helping his business image & Kenzie's escape from her troubled life neither expected things to get complicated when they became emotionally attracted to each other. It's full of drama, great characters & emotion that had me completely hooked from start to finish.
This box set contains both books from this duet and I enjoyed being able to sit down and read the second book straight after the first one. It’s my first time reading this author and I found this story to be delightful. The plot is interesting, has some unexpected twists to it and is told at a fast pace. The two main characters have a sweet chemistry between them, their dialogue is believable and even how they met each other is interesting. The story and the intensity of the characters evolves and moves along from business to friend to romance and it’s a really great story to follow. This 2 book box set, is the story of Nicholas, and Kenzie. Both suffered trauma in their early life, and carry those scares through life. Once they enter into their arrangement, they start to develop feeling for one another, but are they too broken to be together? This is an emotional story, loved the characters, a definite must read.

This box set is the 2nd time I've read anything written by Madison Quinn; she has done an excellent job at writing a good set of books; I will definitely be reading more of her books.
The story lines caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the characters.

This set of books had me experiencing so many emotions from page 1. I cried because of what she went through. I laughed when she laughed. These books were very long and detailed. She suffered a lot and came through it all with flying colors. I truly admire that in a person

This is a great set of books. They were well written, the characters were well developed and had flaws just like everyone else which meant you could relate to them more

An amazing compelling duet and I love it. Both characters are amazing, strong, but broken from past trauma and are just what each other need to overcome and move on. It is a well written, consistent, well-developed, emotionally deep, and enjoyable page turner. The drama, ghosts from the past and other characters add to the overall excitement of the story. Definitely recommended.

Madison Quinn did a great job on this box set, the story was well written and had a great plot that had many emotions. Kenzie and Nicholas were good for one another. What started out fake turned into something so much more. Nicolas and Kenzie needed each other more than they realized. They completed one other. The connection was strong between them. Their attraction and chemistry was sexy. Kenzie and Nicholas were great together. I enjoyed their story. Thank you, Madison Quinn. Great work :)
Loved this book. A great romance where the insecure and badly treated girl gets the beautiful and rich guy who turns out to be a bit insecure and damaged himself. On the other side they have few things in common. They like kinky.. It started from simple arrangements and from one thing turn to other? I just like the charecters and what’s more is that they like them as a couple. I just want them together ! It’s a simple and lovely love story.

The first book did not hold too much romance, but a lot of set up to book 2. There are hints of mystery in the book, although it was quite predictable. I enjoyed seeing their relationship move from hired escort, to friends, to a fake marriage, to a real marriage. The book read a bit slow in some parts but read quicker is others.
After escaping from her past, Kenzie is starting a new life in NYC, but like a lot of other new yorkers, is struggling to make ends meet. When someone offers her a chance to earn more money for a better life, she decides to take that chance and becomes an escort. She is paired with Nicholas who wants to make an exclusive arrangement with her. Book 2 starts with him suggesting an arranged marriage arrangement instead of the escort arrangement.
Great book by a very good writer. A very original tale. It was a long book that you could get your teeth into and it held my attention from beginning to end. The characters and situations were so well described. I felt I was watching it on a screen. The storyline had an interesting angle which proves that there is no end to the possibilities of describing a blossoming love story. The book's two main characters, Kenzie and Nicolas are both severely traumatised by terrible childhood memories. These two people belong together and no one and nothing can heal them other than their love for one another, even if it takes them a while to fight against the realisation. Throughout the book, in spite of everything that happens, you just know that they will end up together. That is in no way spoils the storyline or takes away from the interest from the next twist that follows in the story. Even though this is essentially a love story, we are faced with intrigue, deception, terror, fear, escapism, heat, hope and love. The book is very well written with great use of vocabulary and with a lot of emotional intelligence. Although the book contains a great deal of heated erotic scenes, it doesn't at any point become vulgar. The only thing that the author will need to address is the myriad of proofreading and editorial errors which although annoyed me, it didn't spoil my enjoyment of the book, as this is a very strong piece of work, it does however present a point of criticism.
